KY KY - Natasha Fugate Jones, 31, Knott County, May 2015

Odd was JUST the word that popped into my mind, too. How very odd -- and kind of sad (and/or perplexing).

I suppose us WSleuthers realize this could be a longer term situation. If all you know is TV/movie cops, everything is wrapped up in a few days or hours.

Actually, I understand why they might say that. I would assume that maybe she has a history of similar actions again assuming that she left voluntarily. But still....I find the comment..odd and possibly telling.

The question here is whether Natasha Fugate Jones has ever made any prior road trips to Ohio.

It is less than an hour’s drive from Knott County to get on to U.S. Route 23 in Floyd County. Then it is a few hours drive to reach southern Ohio from eastern Kentucky along U.S. Route 23.

What concerns me is that there are several women that have gone missing in Ohio along U.S. Route 23 between Columbus, Chillicothe, and Portsmouth. I have noticed that there are some similarities between Natasha and the missing women from Ohio.

Take a look at the other Websleuths threads about the missing women along U.S. Route 23 in Ohio.

Good to see you annagrace :) we also seem to be on the same threads. Im not stalking you, I promise lol.

This is really sad, I wish she would at least let her boys know she is safe. They need their mum home safe and well. :(

Is that her correct age? After looking at the photos of her from the Kentucky tv stations, she appears to be older than 21 to me.

Take a look at the photo of Natasha from this web site and compare it with the photos of her from the Kentucky tv stations.

It look like the same person with the same facial features but different hair color.

It looks similar but it's not her

This is an interesting article about Natasha in an interview with her grandmother.

I hope she's found soon and is safe.

After reading that, I'm more worried about her. It doesn't sound good. It appears she us having substance abuse issues.
The way she told her son that she's finding a place for all 3 kinda makes you think she went to get earn some money. Especially with her being gone 2-3 days, as per the note.
So heartbreaking for the boys😢

I really hope this want a drug binge gone bad. Any known enemies? Did she write the note voluntarily?

It's always great to see you lilybell and we do seem to follow several of the same cases! That's good!

This is really sad and if she's gone by choice and she's ok, she definitely needs to get in touch with them. It has to be so hard for her sons! Poor little guys.

Does she have a past history of taking off? It seems pretty clear her substance abuse issues arent a secret.

In this article the grandmother says something about her NOT SUPPOSED to be at her house, and that she'd walked away from rehab she was in. I wonder if she was court ordered to be there? It might make a difference about whether or not she WANTS to be found.

Most people walk away from rehab. I literally today had 3 of my clients ASA (leave against staff advice).

According to her grandmother from the above article:

"When I returned home Natasha was gone,” recalled Chaffins. “That was nothing unusual for her to go with a friend to the doctor or hit the woods or go for a walk."

And this:

"Somebody always knew where she was. She has never been gone like this and no one knows where she is.”
