Yes! There was a case within the last year in the US where they identified the body through dental records the same day the body was found. I can't remember the name at the moment, but I remember I was amazed at how quickly it was done. Just a matter of hours.How long does it take for bones to be forensically tested, teeth can be checked against dental records fairly promptly if available can't they ?
I believe Becky watts in the UK was identified pretty quickly through dental records as well.
