Pair missing since January last seen at Rockford Walmart
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding two missing people last seen at a northern Illinois Walmart store six months ago.

Jina Anwaya, 36, and Shlimon Shimon, 46, were last seen about 1:50 p.m. Jan. 3 as they left the store together at 7219 Walton St. in Rockford, according to a statement from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Anwaya’s vehicle was later found Jan. 15 at the Super 8 Motel at 115 Arrowhead Dr. in Hampshire, police said.

I'm confused. Are they on the run? They are of age and seem to think they are in Chicago? I wonder what they got from walmart.

See this article for more info:

A couple with a connection to the Asher Tool warehouse is missing. They disappeared right before the building caught fire in January.
Investigators call their disappearance suspicious because a threat was made against the missing man days before the fire was set.

From October:

A Rockford federal grand jury has submitted an indictment of 7 people, charging them with conspiring to manufacture, possess and distribute 1,000 or more marijuana plants found after a warehouse on 11th Street caught fire on Jan. 6.

Three of the suspects, Jeremiah N. Clement, 37, of Des Plaines, George H. Bacus, 51, of Niles and Yousif Y. Pira, 62, of Chicago were arrested in April. Arrest warrants have been issued for Shlimon Shimon, 47, of Chicago, Casey Williams, 28, of Great Falls, Mont., and Destiny Freeman, of Palmer, Alaska. Justin T. Paglusch, 33, of Ingleside was also included, and the ATF has offered $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.

The U.S. Department of Justice alleges that the group attempted to grow more than 1,000 marijuana plants in the warehouse...

Police and the ATF are still looking for any information on the whereabouts of Paglusch, and Rockford Police are still looking for information on the whereabouts of Shimon, Williams and Freeman.

As of June 2016, Shlimon Shimon was still a fugitive/missing.

The first person involved in a massive marijuana growing operation has been sentenced by a federal judge.

38-year-old Jeremiah Clement of Chicago was sentenced to 10 years in prison with five years of supervised released on charges of conspiring to manufacture marijuana.

(...)

47-year-old Shlimon Shimon of Chicago is the last suspect to not be caught by authorities, however, he is currently listed as a missing person.
