CANADA Canada - Victoria Crow Shoe, 43, Lethbridge, AB, 26 Aug 2015

On April 22, 1981 Kelly Cook from Standard, AB was abducted under the auspice of a babysitting job. Her body was discovered in the Chin Lake Reservoir (east of Lethbridge). The disappearance and discovery of Victoria at the Oldman River Reservoir on the 13th has the same footprint. These locations are very close and I suppose if it were the same man responsible he would be an old man by now; imo. A hop, skip and a jump over to Blairmore on the 14th for the grand finale of his tour?? Is it possible that a SK who has been haunting Alberta and BC for 40+ years has also created a following on his travels by way of either cult creation or association? These events are too close for comfort by way of proximity and timing. MOO

"RCMP say they have received a number of tips from the public that have been “invaluable” to investigators, but are still looking for anyone who heard from Crow Shoe in August.

She is described as 5’7″ and 160 lbs, with a medium build, brown eyes and brown, highlighted hair. She was last seen wearing a black Fox Racing pullover hoodie and black pants and was carrying a purple bag, and/or an over the shoulder duffle bag.

RCMP are asking anyone with information about Crow Shoe to come forward."

Working at the Superlodge motel may have made her an easy target. She was last seen by associates on August 31; this would mean co-workers? I wonder if she was driving her own vehicle at that time. This gives me the shivers being another native woman found murdered and if she was last seen leaving work then it brings to mind Amber Tuccaro in similarities. I hope LE brings some equations to this that states otherwise.

Some research done on the Terry and Hailey Blanchette thread suggests that Victoria has lived in Blairmore and does have social connections to both Terry and Derek Saretzky. These are trying times.

Could Victoria Crow Shoe be related to the Canada - CALGARY, Colton Crowshoe-18-murder victim, or is that a common name?

That's an interesting connection!

There could well be a connection, but it's probably not easy to find ... and it seems unlikely that the murders are related through their name, unless there's a maniac in the family. It could be about life choices.

Victoria raised her daughters in the Crowsnest Pass area.

Given that her body was found between Lethbridge and Blairmore, perhaps her murderer picked her up in Lethbridge, drove her to Windy Point Campground near the Oldman Dam to party, murdered her, and then continued on to Blairmore.

  • Funeral in Calgary
  • School in Clareholm
  • Raised children in Crowsnest Pass area
  • Lived in Lethbridge
  • Body at Windy Point Campground, Oldman Dam Reservoir

Little bit of info on the Oldman River. This river receives water from quite a few sources including the Crowsnest River.

I suppose Victoria's body could have been placed in any of the joining rivers, eventually ending up at the dam where it was found.

It's possible that she drifted into the reservoir from one of the tributaries, but it's also possible that she surfaced exactly where she was put into the water - next to Windy Point Picnic spot on the reservoir. If she was weighted down, and surfaced after 15 days, I hope divers searched the area. It's also possible that she floated in from another area, but given that she lived in Lethbridge and had ties to Crowsnest Pass area, it's more likely that she arrived in a vehicle that came off the highway directly to Windy Point.

Were divers in the reservoir to look for evidence?

Is there a suspect? Was she estranged from her husband? Had she spend time in a homeless shelter or a women's shelter?
