It may sound silly, but I hope that they posted someone to sit at that pond and watch it. I cannot find any other body of water in that area, some creeks but that pond is right there. Even if one of the civilian searchers set up camp there just to guard that pond. I am just sick that he is not found yet....That poor family must be a wreck....I hope he is safe somewhere and just waiting to be found. IMHO

This is great that there are so many people there to help search. Hopefully somebody will find little Noah any moment!

Are the 100 searchers referred to above the Nat'l Guard, LE and SAR, or members of the public? (The only problem with searches by the public is that, as wonderful as all the extra people searching is, sometimes it can complicate the scents for the dogs, and sometimes this is why LE discourages searches until LE has thoroughly been able to comb that specific area. What a catch 22).

I'm wondering if the dogs hit on a specific area, if this is the new development?

Noah would be so cold, I wonder if he has tucked himself under some leaves and brush somewhere to keep warm?

"Tom Mapes, spokesman for the Madison County Sheriff's Office, said the search has continued into the early hours Friday morning, with additional search teams returning to the woods behind Noah's home. Mapes said that additional search teams will reenter the woods with four-wheelers and crews on foot will go side-by-side through the area, beginning where Noah was last seen."

Mapes said the TBI was gridding the area, and teams were searching ponds before volunteers would be used.

"It was just dark and getting cold," he said. "There is a lot of deep terrains. There's several, several creeks to cross. It's just bad. It's real hilly and real, real woody. Some of it has a lot of briers and stuff.

"We're trying to follow the path of least resistance because we figure a 2-year-old is not going to go through briers and stuff," he said. "It's just so hilly. It's hard to believe a 2-year old would walk miles."

Makes me think again of little Elijah Wood who was found in a window sill. He was 2.

Tom Mapes says 280+ volunteers will be briefed onsite before searching to #FindNoah walking an arms length apart.
 
I haven't heard any mention about the parents yet, but it would be nice if they could get a voice recording of whoever is his legal guardian calling his name. I know one of my son's, if lost, would hide hide hide if he heard strange voices/people, even if he was cold/hungry.

This little guy has been on my mind all morning, but I haven't had much time to read the news. Thanks to everyone here for posting updates.

Still praying for Noah, his family and all those out searching for him. The weather is pretty blah, it must be pretty miserable out there and it's going to get below freezing tonight. :(

Looking at all those grown ups wrapped up warm breaks my heart that this little man isn't wrapped up warm. Hardly been able to do a thing at work today, clicking refresh on every browser tab I have open. Hope you're safe little man, stay strong, everyone is looking for you! xx

Anybody know what the "development" this morning was?
 
Just read about this little guy being missing what a nightmare for his family. He must be so scared wondering about the woods not knowing how to get back. I Hope and pray a miracle occurs and he is found alive.

I wonder if a heat seeking helicopter has been used yet I would imagine it has.

Any updates appreciated.

"the ponds were clear" <--- some of the most beautiful words, ever. Now let's pray they find this little guy real quick.
 
WHY am I drawn to these stories about babies and toddlers (I know why, it's because I have little ones too)?! I hope he is out there hiding. Please little guy be found!
