Found Deceased MO - Titus Tackett, 3, Killarney Shores, 10 Feb 2016

I finally looked at the maps and I could not walk any part of that distance in bare feet. Not in the cold.

Thank you so much for the maps JulyRuby and AbbeyBabbey !

There was a case a while back, I'm rusty on the details, but a guy went into a grandparent's house and abducted and killed a young girl (3 or so, I think). He then went on to kill the girl's dad.

I'd really like to know where Titus' father is, if he is not FG.

While the above case isn't *exactly* the same, IF Titus had a different biological father, that's motive to me, especially since they were at FG's family home and FG's dad was watching and/or interacting with Titus.

I think you're talking about Terry and Hailey Blanchette.

Whose van was it?

Belongs to whomever lives in that house it was parked at. "The resident"

I don't doubt a 3 year old could walk a mile. In a diaper in the cold? I still think it's possible. But I wonder why he'd stop at THAT location. Along the road there are quite a few other houses he would have passed before that one. I feel like a 3 year old who is cold would have stopped sooner. That's one thing I can't understand. Though I still think it's possible that he did wander that far. Unless they give us more information, I am still not in 'blame' mode yet.

Google says it's a 14 minute walk from the lodge to where he was found if you take the road. I'm assuming that's an adult walking at a steady pace. I think it would have taken him at least 90 minutes in the cold at night. Nobody drove down the road looking for him? If they started looking about 1:15am how far could he really have been by then? So many questions. [emoji36]

That is probably one person we can rule out then---the resident. If you are going to harm a 3 yr old, you are not going to leave them outside in your van.

If the van has those heavy sliding doors then it's hard for me to believe that a freezing, exhausted 3 yr old would be able to slide them open. MAYBE if he did so regularly and knew how. But those doors are hard to open.

I'd think if he was cold he would go to a front porch and cry.

I just remember when my children were that age, putting on their snowsuit jackets, hats, mittens, boots etc so they could go outside. Within 5 minutes it seemed, they had had enough and wanted to come back in because they were cold, their nose was running, their nose and ears were red. Typically they were crying.

What I am finding it hard to believe was that he didn't call out, cry or awaken anyone crying/calling out for his mom, before ever going outside, in a diaper and walking a mile with no shoes.

ETA: Was the 6 month old sister with her parents on the errand?

The child, identified as three-year-old Titus Tackett, reportedly wandered from the Lake Killarney area in the Arcadia Township. Titus was last seen wearing a diaper.

family realized he was missing around 1 a.m. and found the front door had been opened.

West-Finnmark police department released a statement that said: “We received a call at around 6.15am that an under-dressed four-year-old girl was found wearing only her underwear and boots. She had been sleepwalking, but was in good health.”

The difference being, she had boots on, that makes a large difference in my opinion.

and it was well above freezing, which all make a large difference...IMHO

Has it ever been said whether he had shoes on or not?
