Missing Fort Myers woman's daughter: 'I just want my mom back'

A missing woman's car parked at a local flea market with a broken driver's window, blood and the missing woman's purse and belongings still inside has presented a mystery for police and her family.

Oliver and his daughter, Ebony Freeman, believe Harris was taken and they think they know who took her. They say they have told police this information.
"I want her to come home. Fight, breathe, breathe. I been down this road before when I lost my brother. Fight and breathe for me, and come home," said Ebony. "I don't know if she's trying to fight or if she's even still alive."

IMO that is interesting statement. the present of blood does not sound good

I wonder if they are looking at her husband? This is terrifying.

Ninij9. I thought it seemed strange when the husband said that his wife hadn't called him by 12:30 and he thought "that wasn't right" but then he didn't try contacting her again until 7pm? I'm paraphrasing so I'll have to go back and re read. But if he saw her before work around 9 am, and he hadn't heard fro her three hours later, and that made him think something wasn't right, but then waited another seven hours before trying to contact her again?

I don't mean to be sleuthing family, it's just his words struck an off chord with me. IMO of course

RIP Alberta. If this was a planned crime where she was targeted, as the daughter has implied, I hope LE throws the book at him/them.

"Eugene Johnson is being held at the Hendry County jail, on charges of second degree murder and possession of a gun by a convicted felon. Johnson has a history of violent crime, including homicide."

"According to a police report, one of the Harri's daughters told police that Alberta Harris and Eugene Johnson had an "on again, off again" relationship. The report goes on to say Johnson would stop by the Harri's home and leave letters for Alberta, one of them saying "If I can't have you, no one can" -- threats and actions that her daughter Ebony can't comprehend."
