PCSO: Missing woman may have known Apache Junction man found dead in San Tan Valley

Renae Gardner, 44, was last seen in the area of Ellsworth Road and Meridian Drive, just west of Apache Junction, according to a flier circulated on Facebook. Both streets run north and south; no cross streets were given on the flier.
PCSO detectives believe Ms. Gardner was the girlfriend of Keith A. Long, 51, PCSO spokesman Tim Gaffney said in an e-mailed response to questions. Mr. Long’s body was found in a canal the morning of June 7 in San Tan Valley and PCSO is now calling his death a homicide, Mr. Gaffney said.

"Apache Junction Police Chief Thomas Kelly said in a phone interview his department is investigating the missing persons reports. However, he could not confirm if Mr. Long and Ms. Gardner were dating as the case is still under investigation.

According to Mr. Long’s Facebook page, the couple were in a relationship."

She may be a victim too. It's possible Keith was killed she was kidnapped. It's equally possible she killed Keith and is on the run. Either way, we need to find her.

Sadly, It is being reported by the
missing Renae Gardner facebook page that her remains have been recovered. Nothing in msm.
