OH - Pike County: 8 people from one family dead as police hunt for killer(s) - #22

Okay, just a theory... What if the cousin that had been staying with FR and HG developed feelings for HG and she rejected him? He could have had a problem with CR, DR and their kids for money and jealousy?

Anything's possible at this point KBP. We still don't really have much new info to go on. We've all got to keep thinking out of the box with fresh ideas IMO.

I lived in Harrah. My friend lives in Wellston.

I have been to Harrah a few times. The Kickapoo casino has a nice restaurant that serves excellent food. Pretty nice land there, lots of farm land.

I think part of the reason that CR1 was shot so many times is that they either woke him up, or he knew them and invited them in and it took that many to stop a moving target.


It looks more like to me that is different shooters. One, who is more adept/comfortable with, firearms, and/or killing than the other. I remember them saying that FG was shot through the eye too.


You have one seemingly more controlled shooter who possibly does the job w/
Three shots, one shot, and two shots, and probably helped take out CR1. Then the accomplice who helped with CR1, and shot Dana, HG, and probably HR. I wonder if one of the assailants was female?

Shot thru the eye, OMG. This had to be professional hitmen. Ruthless to the core. Who would have had that kind of connection? Who could have ticked off a gang member or not paid a big debt or was somebody a rat in the family who was going rogue? All it would take is one revengeful gang member...but where is the connection? IDK of course, just speculating.

Now y'all know what I was going thru when my tablet got broken! I was using a little old trachphone, and it didn't like to cooperate. My daughter said she had dropped it in a cup of coffee! Hubby brought this one home to me yesterday, and I felt like I had my lifeline to the outside world back!

P.S. On the plus side, there is a new Ghost Hunters on at 8p Central, and a new Paranormal Witness on at 9p on SyFy!

When you saw what we found at this warehouse, what went through your mind,” Barr asked Kendra Rhoden. “Anger. I went completely numb. But, all I could feel was anger,” Rhoden said during an interview two weeks ago.

For the next several days, Rhoden said she tried to schedule meetings with Pike County Sheriff Charlie Reader and Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine.

She wanted answers about the Rhoden evidence warehouse. Kendra sent Facebook messages to the sheriff and called his office, she said. By the time we interviewed her on Oct. 10, she'd never heard back from the sheriff.

"It's like they want to avoid me," Kendra told FOX19 NOW, "Because they know they messed up."

A little more confusion for me now. I thought DS was supposed to spend the night with KR and work on cars or something in the morning. His daughter says he should have been at work in Columbus. I guess it doesn't help that I haven't completely believed DS from the start...

JMO, they hurt their own case for justice by exposing the warehouse being unguarded to the news.

IMO. I am not sure it was completely unguarded. After watching the "pay per view" interview with Sheriff Reader he states the following:
- every day he has 2 people specifically assigned to this case that don't report here, they go straight to a command center and meet up with investigation units, crime scene units. Will be continued until case is resolved
- responded yes to the reporters question that command center is in a "super secret location"
on another note
- also stated that marijuana grows at Kenneth and Chris Sr were made bigger than it was. Very small at one place and not really large at the other

Unless the defense can prove someone(s) did enter the warehouse, the evidence hasn't been contaminated. Exposing it being unguarded didn't help them though. I can understand their frustrations. jmo

Very strange that a daughter KR sent hundreds of text messages to and was in close contact with did not know that he was not going to work the next morning but instead was going to have his cousin DS stay over night and "work on cars the next morning at 5:00am ".

I just don't buy DS's story and I never have. KR is and has always been the odd man out, like an after thought. You can make some sense of the order of the other 7 and maybe even a motive if not the who, but not KR.

I still think we all need to think more about the Stone siblings that GR raised.

All the defense have to do is establish reasonable doubt regarding the chain of evidence.
