I watched most of the trailer. They certainly didn't have much of a budget, and I have to wonder if anyone in the production company is also involved in low-budget *advertiser censored*?? (Could they know Tony or Big Al and have an inside scoop?)

Actually yes. A little IMDB research on it proved that at least one of the cast members have been in movies such as:

The writer and producer of the film is stating here (in response to "eagle spirits" saying "who would want to see your film - you're all *advertiser censored* people anyway" that HE himself was in the *advertiser censored* business as well as 3 others in the film.!!!

If I could respond to "Eagle Spirits" (www.facebook.com/eagle.spirits.5 ) who just posted some negative comments ("who would want to see your film anyway? You're just a bunch of *advertiser censored* people") on my my heartfelt post regarding the film emerging from my soul, I'd say, first of all out of the 40+ people involved in the making of this film, only myself and 3 others had involvement in the adult film industry. And the 4 of us like all the others who worked on the film (who never had any involvement in adult entertainment whatsoever, not that it matters) are kind and compassionate people, who are loved and respected by many for our artistic talents and for our personal and professional integrity. You Eagle Spirits most of all should see my film, because if there's a message behind it, it's that we shouldn't judge people we really know nothing about (which clearly you've done to us).

Remember: When we judge someone, we're judging ourselves. When we hate someone, we're hating ourselves. When we love someone, we're loving ourselves.

The Trafficking Victims Protection and Justice Act would toughen penalties for traffickers and patrons, eliminate the ability for a victim of human trafficking to be prosecuted as a prostitute and eliminate the identifying term "prostitute" from the state's penal law and replace it with the phrase "person for prostitution."

The Act also raises the penalty for trafficking people for labor exploitation to a class B felony, the same penalty as trafficking for sexual exploitation. The legislation also holds chauffeurs accountable if they are found to have provided transportation for human traffickers.

The bill also closes the loophole in state law which currently provides a weaker punishment for those convicted of buying sex from a minor. Under the new statute, persons convicted would receive the same punishment as those who rape a child of the same age.

Jose Ruiz (the guy who owned the escort business Shannan was going to testify against) was found guilty of sex trafficking and only got a 9 year prison sentence. (Or maybe 7?)

There was another case I saw recently. 2 men were charged with sex trafficking and got 15 years PROBATION.

It makes no sense to me how that happens. It's slavery no matter how you slice it.

It almost seemed as Shannan may have had an extra sensory or clairvoyant episode, especially when the neighbor said she was staring off, looking away in a daze and instead of staying in the security of his home bolted out of the door terrified.

With all the victims who suffered such tragic and terrifying death all placed in a mass grave not far down the road and being so similar to Shannan, she may have had this gift and never known she had.

Just for the record, several reports indicate that Shannon Gilbert was also bipolar. SO that is a whole hot mess mixture going on if she wasn't taking meds for it....even if she was taking meds for it mixing it with street drugs.

I believe that she was drugged for the benefit of the killer but she did not react to the drugging as expected.

Yes and yes! She felt the effects and went to the bathroom, the burner phone she was using was on table. She overheard the guest from downstairs and Brewer speaking of what they were going to do. She started to feel the effects of being drugged. She pulled out her regular cell phone and called 911 had them on the line as she came out. I bet Brewer and his killing companion were surprised she had another phone and she ruined their plan, hence the call to driver to come get her or he was already in on it and that is when she ran out the door seeing the exchange of knowing glances!
