Depending on how well he knows the area, you can also walk through the back entrance of the Black Boy pub on St Andrews St and through one of the little alleys in the area. I walk through to Waitrose via College Lane and then through the pub yard. It's quicker than walking up through the town.

Julieo. K'tal !

The car is essentially parked near Flex thou, isn't it.
What time does Flex open out of interest ?

You are correct about the car being nearer to Flex but I thought the timeline was SoBar as the first place Corrie went. I think Flex opens around 9 -9:30 pm but I'm an OAP so it's not really on my radar!

Can any of the locals tell us more about the place in Thetford linked to by Mindie304 in post #420 ?
For some reason I can't quote other posts just now.

It looks like a place that would have quite a lot of footfall, but it's hard to tell just looking at pictures.

Well, you are doing fine my old mucker.
Corrie was heading to Flex at the end of the evening. That's why I asked.

Now people.... we wait.

<modsnip>

Anyone with news, local or main, please...the airwaves are now yours.

Thoughts and prayers for the family if this is what ..... pointless writing anything else. I guess we all feel that way.

I don't mean inside the bin either I think bin man found it on the top and taken it and he doesn't want to admit that as he thinks it could make him look like there was more to it x

This is quite plausible bbyblueeyez. Corrie went for a pee, took his phone out and left it on top of bin and just forgot. Bin man picked it up and took it with him but chucked it out of his cab somepoint on his return route for some unknown reason !
It can be amazing what people won't bother to report.

Could be a coincidence but there is a pizza place in Thetford that seems to have some of the same directors as the one in BSE.

Agree James. This is only about 7 miles north of Honington.

I can't find any other news source with the story...

It's in local news to me in Norfolk also

I agree, it says it's wetlands, whether related or not it doesn't look good for someone.

A bit surprising that the article says it has been cordoned off since 00:30 last night yet zero communication about what the incident is from Police. That is getting on for 18 hours.

Is that a sign of the resources issue or waiting for specialist teams (Met?) to get there?

Thanks for this.
Often with 'big' stories (that sounds awful, it's not intended that way) there are lots of leaks to media and they're usually all over anything like this if they think it's relevant.
Keep us updated on your local reports please!

I'd say it's most likely a body and suspicious enough to warrant needing someone to come, hence the long time they've been there. Whoever it is, thoughts to their family.

According to a thetford sale page it has been an attempted murder, but absolutely nothing confirmed at all. Not looking related.

Apparently there may have been a stabbing and locals saying a bookies has been closed after some kind of incident last night.
