Those skeletal injuries make me feel like the UID was exposed to domestic abuse, as well as the impacted tooth.

An impacted third molar is an impacted wisdom tooth. That's not something that's caused by domestic violence or any kind of injury; it's incredibly common and probably not much use for identification purposes except to rule out missing persons who were known to have had that wisdom tooth removed.

The collarbone fracture could be a sign of violence, or she could have had a roller skating accident or fallen off her bike as a kid.

I wish we knew more about the bony lesion on her rib, whether it's from a healed injury or from tuberculosis or some other pulmonary disease.

I meant that a financially abusive boyfriend or husband may have not allowed her to get the the tooth pulled. Just an idea.

Is the area near where this UID was found known for attracting drug addicts, or transients?

What do you think about Sheryl Tillinghast?
https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/3259/

I also was looking at Sheryl... the abuse stuck out to me http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/t/tillinghast_sheryl.html

Sheryl should be submitted as a potential match.

The noticeable gap in her front teeth makes me think it may not be her, as that should be mentioned in the UID's NamUs profile, but the other physical attributes and circumstances match up quite well.

Her height (63 inches) is perfect, her abusive home-life could explain the prior injuries, and she was almost certainly murdered in New York in 1973: she didn't return home as expected, there was a sudden ceasing of all communication with friends and family, she left behind all her personal belongings and two uncollected pay-checks, no further activity with financial institutions or on her social security number etc...

The other thing to note is that Sheryl was not reported missing until 1998 so LE working the case in the 1970's and 1980's would never have been aware that she was missing.

pineappleexpress, wanna call it in for Sheryl? GreyClay brings up some great points to note to LE.

The ring had her initials 'DS' on it, I'm thinking it was either her boyfriend's or given to her by him.

There is much more info on Denise Sheehy on her own thread http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...-Woodside-7-July-1970&highlight=denise+sheehy

I also believe she is this very Jane doe, considering the ring the clogs and how this park is really not that far by car from where Denise disappeared. Unfortunately there is no photo of the clogs or the ring that were found with the Jane Doe to see if in reality the initials are correct..

A few possibilities: Cynthia Constantine was likely the victim of a kidnapping, she had broken her arm in the past http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/c/constantine_cynthia.html. Niki Britten was a runaway who allegedly went to New York after her disappearance http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/britten_niki.html. Helen Green was apparently trying to go to New York after she ran away http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/g/green_helen.html. Janet Kramer http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/k/kramer_janet.html, Joyce Brewer http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/brewer_joyce.html, Eva Ridall http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/r/ridall_eva.html, and Kathleen Rodgers http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/r/rodgers_kathleen.html are all believed to be runaways. Most have little information available so it's harder to tell what happened to Irene LaRosa http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/l/larosa_irene.html, Rosemary Buck http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/buck_rosemary.html, Mary Anne Wesolowski http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/w/wesolowski_mary.html, Sandra Hopler http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/h/hopler_sandra.html, Rose Cole http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/c/cole_rose.html, Patricia Seelbaugh http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/seelbaugh_patricia.html, Helen Allison http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/a/allison_helen.html, Valerie Cuccia http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/c/cuccia_valerie.html, Sherry Pickle http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/p/pickle_sherry.html, Marylou Bostwick http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/bostwick_marylou.html, Wendy Eaton http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/e/eaton_wendy.html, Tracy King http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/k/king_tracy.html, Maria Anjiras http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/a/anjiras_maria.html, April Zane http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/z/zane_april.html, and Karen Kamsch http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/k/kamsch_karen.html but all sound as though foul play could easily be involved. Wish we knew more about both this Doe and the missing women so the list could be narrowed down more.

So far the only rule out listed for this Jane Doe is Sylvia Lwowski. Something to keep in mind about the ring is that she was not found wearing it, it was found nearby in the surrounding area where her body was buried. It may not be related to her at all. It's not stated whether the ring is a man's or woman's either, I'm curious about that personally.

On the Doe Network page, it says she is "white (with other ethnicity)" - I wonder what other ethnicity/ethnicities? That might be helpful in finding her identity.
