Did anyone else notice the number of UID's found in Suffolk County that have healed fractures? Is that possibly a clue?

I noticed most of the victims with healed fractures were around middle aged and maybe it is bc by that age people have had one incident of bone trauma or another?

The work belt on one victim is indicative of a tradesman. So maybe these victims have had jobs where they could easily injure themselves like in building? Jobs that put them at risk for injury.

Some might also have grown up on the mean streets and fought their entire lives as an at risk person. They could also be foreign (as we see is likely evident with the Asian man found with Chinese writing) and that might be why they are unidentified.

A thought just popped into my head, might be a little out there but bear with me. What if these people worked for a certain carpenter and got hurt on the job and later threatened to sue. Another thought is that this carpenter might have got a certain amount of work from them then didn't want to pay...

Just thoughts, it's still early and I'm still on my first coffee. :)

I was kickin that idea around in my head after reading #3 Plum Island. The poor man already suffering from brain damage. Two scars on his scalp. A work related injury? But he was still able to work. He does not sound like a street person but someone attempting to thrive inspite of a disability. Green t-shirt with green socks. A well put together person who cared for his appearance. He had a healthy weight.

I can't really do this efficiently on mobile, but I had an idea that might be a long shot. Do a search with the info we have on this MP and a search for the manorville JD #6 and kind of cross check them to see if any two went missing around the same time from around the same place. If we think that these two victims were together, it might be worth comparing.

I thought this was obvious....

I guess not to those of us that don't know everything

Well once you entertain the theory that Jane and John Doe were killed together, wouldn't your first thought be that they disappeared from the same place at the same time?

It was certainly one of them. Which is why I posted it because I can't do a side by side search comparison myself.

I was thinking more along the lines or Orthopedic Dr or specialist, physical therapy?

I was thinking possibly a methadone clinic could link these men with so many injuries but the only one I could find in East New York at least that is currently open is part of a women's shelter (although there are others in Brownsville and Canarsie). This case http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Suspect-in-S-F-body-parts-case-dead-6069878.php is similar to Yang Jun Zhang (post #330 Asian Male Thread) with the dismemberment & suitcase MO (although that seems common enough to not be a signature). I cannot find anything about MJA residing in NY (grew up in Missoula, MT, died in San Francisco but plenty of gaps).

This is a really good idea. What are the methadone clinics you found in East New York? Amber used to go to the city everyday with her boyfriend so he could get his methadone dose I think

I was thinking more along the lines of gay pickup spots.
Long Island spots include Two Mile Hollow Beach in East Hampton, the Field 6 parking lot at Jones Beach, a rest stop near Exit 52 on the Long Island Expressway and the park-and-ride lot on Route 110 in Melville. Each has its own culture and often its own set of protocols, ranging from parking position to the flashing of headlights or blinkers as mating calls.

The parking lot in Queens seems to be especially popular with men who lead ostensibly heterosexual lives but show up for sex because it is quick, easy to get and secretive, regulars say. The lot, along Hollis Hills Terrace just south of 73rd Avenue in Queens Village, is close to several major parkways, and its location helps make it popular with men who commute between New York City and the suburbs, where they often have a house, a mortgage, a wife and children.
"The vast majority of men who come here are married," said one longtime parking lot user, who like the other men interviewed there recently would not tell his name because of concerns ranging from embarrassment to fears of gay-bashing.

Interesting...I was looking at Canarsie Awareness, 1285 Rockaway Ave, Brooklyn. Their website is kind of rudimentary so I couldn't really tell if they offer methadone there or just refer patients to places that do. IMO The Arthur N. Brook Center for Positive Change looks more likely -shows up in google as ARTC East New York Clinic, 494 Dumont Ave, Brooklyn. The women's shelter with possible methadone services is St. Martin De Porres Substance, 480 Alabama Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11207. It's very close to ARTC so they may be partnered.

Continuing with the above map I have added the locations of the methadone clinics I am looking at. I am also working on a more detailed map to include the UID's found in the area and places victims were last seen.
