Hmm... me think very strange, me talk about "speaker" and speaker disappear?? I've heard of eye in the sky, is this ear to the ground?:shush:

Nothing on mine. You must be special!

There is a chat feature on websleuths, maybe it has something to do with that?

Another great post Onesie (please let me know if you don't like this nick name and I'll just call you One), I posted a couple of times about The Birnies on Murder Uncovered over on PeteDavo's Missing/Murdered SK Perth - it's a great thread.

Onesie is fine.

I will have to pop over and have a look at the other thread - sounds interesting. Thanks for the heads up and the appreciation of my posts Owlie :)

Didn't know about Chat Feature? Must be that, but strange I've never seen it before, and it's back.... I have been seeing it again last few minutes. Yes, "special", that's a nice way to put it!

No, CG was, not JR. Wellard is nowhere near a fishing spot.

Thankyou
Knew CG was but am not familiar with Wellard. Was just thinking if JR had been in a fishing area or near a beach ,it wouldn't have seemed too odd for someone to be out that way "fishing" or with fishing knives, ropes etc in car should they have been pulled over for any reason.

Do you know if BRE socialised outside work with work colleagues and other technicians from his father's team?
Did he keep in contact with former work colleagues that he might of socialised with?
Did he ever consider a redundancy package from TELSTRA that was being offered in early 2000's?
Did he (like my old school friend that was a Telstra Techie) contact other former Telstra colleagues that took the package to scope out employment opportunities, find out what sort of work they were doing, what they actually did, pay rates, how to apply, job security etc?
Did he know where former Telstra Technicians worked?
Did he ever mention any of the former Telstra Technicians that got jobs with WA Police?
Did he tell you what they did?
Did he ever say if any of them told him anything about this CSK case?

Do you have a link for this please. Would love to read it.

There was a doco about the case on telly which showed what the police had done and the evidence they had made up about LR killing is wife at the house but all the evidence was fabricated. The judge was scathing of the police.

When BRE worked on the job in Waroona, do you remember him commuting home, or did he say that he stayed in the Hotel with the other Technicians?
Did BRE ever lend stuff to colleagues, complain of having stuff stolen at work, or allowed others to clean up his workspace?

Thankyou

It is WA though, there are a couple of boats in every street. We are coastal, even when 1/2 an hour from the sea.

I have been away from this for 2 whole threads but come back finding we have another VI -Trueblue2017.
Apologies if any of this has been asked already.

Trueblue2017 i would like to ask a few questions about BE in regards to your opinion of his character in general.

Does he come across as an intelligent man? Above average intelligence, average or below average intelligence.

Is he a meticulous man? Everything has its place, clean and tidy, follows protocols, instructions and procedures.

In a relationship was he the pants wearer so to speak and was he the main bread winner for his family?

Did he display what most would would refer to as feminine characteristics or preferences? Eg, shopping, more female friends, fashion and clothing, appearances, gossip etc or;

Did he display what most would refer to as masculine characteristics or preferences? (Stereotypically)

Did he ever come across as chauvinistic?

Was his friend base large and wide or small and intimate?

Where his relationship splits amicable or one sided?

Does he agree for the sake of agreeing and keeping peace or openly speak out if his opinion is different?

Feel free to skip any or all. I am interested in 'who' he is as a person.

Police officers had also behaved inappropriately by trying to persuade forensic pathologist Gerard Cadden to change his report that he found three seed pods in Mrs Rayney's hair to two.
"In substance they set about persuading a witness to alter that witnesses' evidence to fit with the police view of the evidence," the judge said.
He said if the seed pod was not "planted" in the body bag it could have become contaminated as evidence by contact with other items and objects.

A reason put forward by a police officer for a search of the body bag had an "air of unreality", he said.
Justice Martin also questioned why it had taken five hours to search the bag and why the pod, although it had been mixed with sand from Kings Park, was still consistent with soil from Como.

Does it mean LR wasn't involved in the murder of his wife, no, but planting evidence to 'get their man' is totally out of order.

Using a personal vehicle opposed to one used by other employees makes deniability that much harder. And you would be suprised as the lengths some people would be willing to go to keep their identity hidden when committing murder. Also makes driving from the dumpsite straght to work in the early hours of the morning a little less complicated.

If a trial happens and DNA evidence is proven, would you then accept his guilt or do you think the police managed to plant his DNA in 3 separate crime scenes spanning a 10 year period?
A peep would have to be particularly diligent to clean a borrowed vehicle. Was there any evidence of vehicle cleaning at the dump sites? Did anyone else ever use BRE's Telstra vehicle?
