Truth Prevails, your signature link is just amazing, you must have put hours upon hours in the hard work you've done in there. There is so much detailed info in there and I'm positive everyone else who takes the time to look it over will be so pleased with it as well. Job well done!!! :tyou: for sharing!
LOL - I'm glad to hear it at least opens. Thank you. You are too kind. :luv:

While I would love for this to finally be Kyron, I sadly don't believe it is. Terri would have to be absolutely nuts to pick this place to dispose a body in the middle of the day. Macadam is a very busy road all day long. There is no way she could have parked and carried a body up the trail to hide it. A much likelier location would be the woods to the northwest of her home. Much more remote and less likely to have witnesses. Macadam is the main route from Lake Oswego into downtown Portland.

ITA. Yet someone's body was there and a gun found nearby may or may not be associated. I've been waiting for updates to this.

Could have made a transfer at a later time.

Ooh, just had the sickening thought that maybe it wasn't a body, but a living person, upon entering the trail...

Please read KOIN 6, April16, 2017 article which said human bones were found among moss, dirt, twigs which indicated the bones had been there for some time. I am on iPad and cannot link the exact article but it can be googled.

I meant perhaps the person was alive when they entered the trail, was shot (or otherwise killed) there, and left to decompose. I was suggesting that idea because of comments that it would be too risky to lug a body into the woods off of a busy road.

I see this as plausible; although I think it would exclude precious Kyron.

Could have made a transfer at a later time.

Now, this theory is one I'm debating myself. We are into the 3rd week, so maybe by the end of next week we will have something solid--hopefully to rule this out.

To make it more convenient for everyone, especially the people who just drop in to read, I'll re-post all the links for quick review. The first two have video attached:

Plus, below I will add a screenshot of a tweet from a link originally added by Matou. I noticed the question:

Following is a revision of a map I added on the previous page. I have added more locations as I wish to have it reflect the large area searched for Kyron, but how the searches stopped just above the location where the bones were found on April 16, 2017. All we really know about the bones is that they are human and appear to have been there a number of years. Off to the side of the image I have placed a link to an uncluttered Google map.

One last thing, there is also a thread in the Missing Unidentified forum for the bones:

Ooh--thank you so much for all that work and all those links!

One way it could have been Kyron walking in alive is if TH told him something like they could go find a red-eyed tree frog to take back to school for his science fair project. (Though I think he would have followed her commands whether they made sense or not, she could have gained his full cooperation with a cover story.) JMO

However, it's too soon for me to start coming up with scenarios, since we don't know yet whose bones they are. (Poor soul, whoever they belonged to.)

Sorry if I appear to be obsessing, but if I stop working even for a second I start thinking about this.

In the map below, each blue circle represents an area searched. With the searches, it was really hard to know the exact area because of privacy concerns. So in a way all locations are only my best guess, although I have links to support why I placed each marker where I did.

I thought this screen shot gave a better indication of the UNIDENTIFIED remains location in relation to searches done specifically for Kyron.

For reference, Kyron's home is slightly above the blue circle with a #1 inside, and his school is just below it.

Thank you! That's very helpful!

If these are KH remains, someone sure went to great lengths to hide the body in a really remote spot.

But then again, closer to DDs condo.

Someone further up posted that it is really not a remote spot. MacAdam is apparently a very busy road all day long, being the main route from Lake Oswego to downtown Portland.

So I actually think that all the areas they searched are much, much more remote.

I don't know--possibly someone drove around with a cell phone making sure it pinged remote towers as someone else went to a different area; returning to River View Natural Area after dark to do the final disposal. Even the bank records showed that TMH was somewhere other then where she said she was at certain times.

Maybe that's a bit convoluted as a theory but depending how many were involved something like that might work. I'm pretty sure Desiree always said that she believed there was at least one other person involved, but possibly two others.

Prayers that this is not Kyron, though.

Just wanted to give Kyron's thread a bump.

I checked on the Facebook page for Susan Cox and the last discovery of human remains took one month--almost to the day--to confirm the identity. (It was not Susan.)

Also, they had a human skull to work with. I'm not sure, but maybe that could speed things up.

At the end of this week, it will be four weeks since the discovery of the bone remains in the River View Natural Area.

Prayers for sweet, innocent Kyron.

Detectives hope a digital trail will help provide clues into the whereabouts of Kyron Horman.

“They are working computer forensic information and evidence that they’ve gotten that’s come to light recently,” explained Young.

Multnomah County investigators declined to provide details about the new evidence. A source with knowledge of the investigation said police recently examined a laptop computer that used to belong to Kyron’s stepmother, Terri Horman.
