But given his family's economic status, the financial explanation doesn't sound likely to me. And commuter students, of which he was one, even had special programs to help them succeed.

In this article from AU's magazine, CD mentions wanting to be a biology major but seems more excited about study abroad programs, which--as a college instructor myself--I find kind of odd since students in the hard sciences typically don't study abroad. (Source is Arcadia Univ. magazine): https://www.arcadia.edu/news/2015/08/class-2019-ready-begin-journey

FWIW, biology is NOT an easy major, particularly for anyone who's not already academically talented OR willing to work really hard (you have all these required science courses that build on each other so if you flunk one, you might not be able to take the next course in the sequence). For any student struggling cognitively or emotionally, this would be daunting. I guess where I'm going with this is that I don't think he had any realistic understanding of his skills/abilities (which would account for absurd claims about his MENSA-level IQ).

Tl; dr: CD commuted to a local university following his HS graduation; he intended to major in biology but dropped out at some point thereafter. This seems to have happened prior to the (2016?) ATV accident alleged to have caused some cognitive impairment.

I could have been more clear; difficult to drop out at AU unless you don't really want to be there. That is, it's definitely not a school that most intelligent people would flunk out of, though I think we've already established that he's probably not the brightest.

Also, *everyone* at Arcadia studies abroad at one point. It's their thing, so nothing out of the ordinary that he wanted to talk about it for the story.

First, I'd like to send prayers to the boys and their family and friends. I'm new and signed up because I am originally from this area, moved 4 years ago but this story touches very close to home for me.

Found this on Twitter and if you look at TM IG account he hung out in North Philly too...interesting.

I wanted chickens for my farm so I looked on Craigslist and found a local guy advertising chickens for sale. I called....he wasn't selling chickens...
Wow........w...never mind. :scared:

And the first thing I notice is that someone already has it wrong. They have pictures of the house on Aquetong Road and claim it's where the remains were found.

The house shown is a smaller property where the car was discovered.

From what I gathered from the press conference there are multiple crime scenes. He wouldn't speak on where but did confirm that.

Hey Gardnener :) Sure! I'm WAY behind so I may need some help with details.

TIA to all that do

Here are some key locations and a few sources:

Jimi Patrick went missing from Newtown, PA

Dean Finocchiaro was from Middletown Township, PA; DF last seen getting into a car on Hampton Drive (not sure which town?) ETA This source says "Hampton Bridge section of Langhorne" https://patch.com/pennsylvania/newhope-lambertville/4-missing-men-solebury-farm-mystery-timeline

Mark Sturgis lives on Walt Road, Pennsburg, Montgomery County, PA and was last seen leaving his home.

Tom Meo, is from Plumstead Township, PA

POI Cosmo DiNardo’s family owns the Solebury Township, PA properties where the car and bodies found. CD lived at 900 block of Wayland Circle, Bensalem, PA.

Stugis’ Car was found at Peddler’s Village: Saxbys Peddler's Village, 58 Peddlers Village, Lahaska, PA 18931

a mobile license plate reader captures an image of Meo’s plate on Street Road in Solebury Township. In the same location minutes earlier, the reader captures the plate on a pickup truck driven by Cosmo DiNardo, 20, of Bensalem.
Meo’s car was found at 2827 Aquetong Road, about 2 miles from where the plate reader located it a day earlier.

Correct, but the 12.5' dig site, where the remains were found, is on the Farm property (Lower York Road) and not the tiny property/house on Aquetong (as the FB page claims).

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but just saw an article detailing some snapchat conversations involving CD talking about the disappearance of FD.
http://www.philly.com/philly/news/b...illed-texts-dinardo-dean-killed-20170713.html

The part of the article I find interesting is that Cosmo was pressuring the guy to whom he just sold weed, to get into his truck to talk business. Finally the passenger (who the buyer thought resembled DF) told him to chill. Was he rounding up people?

There are some very interesting thoughts here. Many, when I read them make sense. Those involving the BR temple case and possibilities of DF initially being involved are extra compelling. This is happening where I live; I drive down Aquetong often, so I am very interested.

Question I have. Typically, don't they use the term "remains" when some form of decomp has occurred and "body" when it is newer?

This is all so sad. Whether these kids were into some "shady" things, no person or family deserves this ending. It's amazing how many people have some sort of connection to one or more of these young me.

Hope this is ok to post. I'm thinking yes because it's public record, but those wondering how many businesses the DiNardo family owns.

In texts, Cosmo DiNardo unconcerned about missing Bucks friend
Updated: JULY 13, 2017 — 2:09 PM EDT

"DiNardo replied: “I mean I know the kid but yeah I feel bad for his parents. He’s a pill-popping junky who had 2 duis … He prob just jumped parole Or probation.”

Snip

"DiNardo pressured him to get in his truck and “talk business,” mentioning the possibility of drug dealing, the customer said. But he said he turned down the proposition several times before the passenger convinced DiNardo to give it a rest."

It still baffles me, if the four are connected, that there are certain inconsistencies. JTP literally vanished without a trace, no phone, no car, no clues, and also the least amount of public info until recently. I believe it went a few days until the media picked up the missing persons report too.

However, the other 3 have multiple clues as to how this may have happened and who may have been involved. If CD is the suspect, how could he be so meticulous that one vanished without a trace, but the other 3 have a phone ping, a car on the property, license picked up on camera, rumors CD picked up the deceased, tried to sell a car, etc. If there are others, how could CD have done it without any clues either, and leaves so many clues in such a short period of time with DF, MS and TM?

Brentwood, you read my thoughts exactly....it seems as if JTPs disappearance was without any trace or phone ping and if I recall I don't see his disappearance reported to LE as quickly as the others were from the posted timelines?

Also, a bit off the topic, but I have a hard time believing this homicide had anything to do with $ for an MJ deal, as mentioned previously that there was a shady MJ deal at the local Wawa. We are talking about maybe $200 at the most. This had to be something much more nefarious.
