KSL is now saying that the body had clothing that indicated it was male.

http://www.transcriptbulletin.com/pages/full_story/push?article-Hogan+finds+dead+body &id=13308982

An article with an interview of an attorney who was part of the party who found the body.

Hogan said they found the lower half of a human body. Although three toes still had remnants of flesh visible on them, the rest of the remains had been reduced to bare bones. About 10 or 15 feet west was an area with some other body parts, where Hogan said it looked like the body had decomposed. That area was well enough concealed beneath tall grass and tightly grouped sagebrush that had part of the body not been moved, it might never have been found.

I wonder if they have any ideas yet who this might be? The wheels of justice sometimes move so slowly!

There is now a good sketch available, as well as some actual crime scene photos and four rule outs https://www.identifyus.org/en/cases/9507
attachment.php

Ruled Out:
Colton Barrera, 1990, Kansas
Antonio Fazari, 1983, Arizona
Luis Montes, 1974, Utah
Adan Velasco, 1988, Texas

More remains were found in 2013 and there is now a height estimate here: 4'11"-5'6"

I wonder how/why additional remains were found in 2013. With the skull, they were able to make the sketch. In 2011, they only found the lower half of the body.

This guy would definitely be a good DNA Doe fit.

Still shows up on NamUs.

Ruled Out:
Colton Barrera, 1990, Kansas
Antonio Fazari, 1983, Arizona
Luis Montes, 1974, Utah
Adan Velasco, 1988, Texas
For some reason Colton Barrera now shows up twice, but other than that, no new rule outs.

Does anyone know if LE has released a cause of death for the Doe?
