Pretty sure this isn't isolated to my state. Every woman I know would smack a man if they called them a derogatory name. I think it's more a drug/crime thing as I've heard other trials (different states) where women are called horrible things as well.Don't know if this is a TN thing or just the way druggy scummy men in TN talk, but the way they refer to women is so degrading. Referring to women as "the Bi...." It's not just the young druggies, but we have older men talking that way.
How can someone's wife or girlfriend hear a man say this and have no reaction whatsoever or allow that? It's like the women have no self esteem at all and no worth to themselves or anyone else.
My brother (now deceased) was lower IQ, along with some other health problems. He could read, he wrote quite well, he could tell time from an analog clock, he absolutely knew right from wrong. He did not drive, didn't have good motor skills or depth perception or reasoning ability.
At the same time he was impressionable and could be easily persuaded by others to do things without understanding or thinking of the consequences or beyond the moment. He was like a perpetual 14 yr old if I had to put an age to it. I suspect Dylan is probably somewhat similar.
Watching the parade of sketch characters in this case makes me want to go hang out on the Upper East Side of NYC and do a museum crawl to balance the culture shock experienced in this trial.

no kidding...upper east side sounds good...or even some areas in my little suburb here...I do out and take a bike ride and just so appreciate where I live and the people are I see around. This trial has really opened my eyes to what happens in some places...makes one understand a bit more the national situation.
To be fair to Parsons, there are also a lot of perverts in the Upper East Side, and plenty of shady creepers in the suburbs....
I just want to say that people have to remember that the criminals on the stand are apart of the dark culture of the town. Remember there were hundreds of GOOD citizens that came out and helped search for Holly with the Bobos. These guys maybe sketchy but that is not the whole of the town.
there is an underbelly everywhere but I think it is a bit easier to avoid the larger the environment.
