BBM ~ He is in shock, everyone acts different when in shock.

I understand which is why my previous posts have expressed sympathy for him. However I don’t think he needed to give a 30 min interview about what a wealthy, generous, genius the killer is. He overexposed himself and his family IMO and did literally nothing to make the killer appear any more human or relatable. I think it’s strongly in his best interest to not talk to the press anymore. I hope he does not wake up tomorrow and regret the things he divulged in that interview.

Indeed. Injustice collectors are narcissists at heart.

-Agreed!!! Who else would plan such a methodical grandiose exit for themselves?!?! Its all about them, how they are in control and ‘successful’ at EVERYTHING THEY DO. Id like to know if he used *that* revolver for anything else? I can see him using that just for himself.

In some ways I wish our media would just go silent on an incident like this. I know we all want to know..... but all I can think about is the next mass shooter/terrorist out there watching all this detail come out and taking notes. Not only about the weapons, location, camera, etc, but also the notoriety.

It just makes me sick.

When I was watching the press conference tonight and they were showing clips of the body camera footage during the shooting, I just started crying for all those innocent people - including the cops- who were running around with no idea where these hundreds of bullets were coming from. Those folks are going to be traumatized for years over this.

Last, I found myself wondering if police forces have drones easily accessible- it would have been great if once they had determined the general location in the hotel if they could have sent a drone up to view inside. But I am sure those take quite a bit of time to set up, and even harder to use at night, so probably not realistic.

In the press conference they said that once the shooting stopped, they were working on getting the guests off those floors, so the shooter was isolated, and then they had to make their approach. He chose a room with the doorway at the end of a hallway, so it was a very risky situation for them to approach that door, not knowing if there were bombs inside.

Well, well, well.....appears Mr. Just-a-guy was also quite an abusive jerk!! Now I'm thinking she left because he was abusive or at least controlling with money. (Opinions welcome.)

JMO, everyone wants an "all expenses paid" business trip to Las Vegas. I heard in the news last night lots of LE from other areas/states have been volunteering to send officers to "help out" with the investigation. Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink.

Yep, we all know how those slacker cops are---just out to have a good time, maybe go to see some strippers. Couldn't possibly be planning to actually do anything helpful.

I bet those dead and maimed officers, who were shot during the mayhem, were just there to party, not to actually try and help anyone. Great to see how some people really view Law Enforcement in this country.

New info on girlfriend.
"The person who may hold the key to solving the mystery of why the Vegas gunman killed 59 and wounded nearly 600 people led a convoluted life of her own, with two simultaneous husbands, a bankruptcy, two Social Security numbers, multiple addresses in several states and even different ages depending on which state records you review."
http://www.newsweek.com/marilou-danley-gunmans-girlfriend-social-security-number-677033

Someone was asking about this earlier:

Though the police initially cleared Marilou of any involvement in Sunday night's shooting, on Tuesday, Sheriff Joe Lombardo called her a "person of interest" in the investigation again at a briefing in Las Vegas.

I wonder how accurate their research is. There are a bunch of Marilou Bustos on Facebook so it’s not as uncommon of a name as I expected it to be. Also, Geary’s kids spoke about her and had nothing but really nice things to say about her. I can’t imagine that would be the case if Marilou had married someone else 6 years into the marriage with Geary. The “facts” article seems a little questionable to me.

“Both marriage licenses were filed in Clark County, which includes the city of Las Vegas, even though the Danleys lived in Tennessee and Arkansas around the time of their marriage, and the Bustoses lived in California”

My husband and I got married in Vegas but we are from NY. So many people get married in Vegas bc of the ease of it. Could it be possible their are two SSN because they are two different people?

ETA there is someone by the name of Marilou Natividad Bustos who is a county employee in CA. I really think Newsweek jumped the gun and reported false info. Which would be so shocking lol

I would not be surprised if Stephen Paddock is an injustice collector. That is what characterizes rampage killers and terrorists. of course this is too early to tell. We should hear more in the coming days.

Dr. Mary Ellen O'Toole was on television. She stated that Stephen Paddock likely planned it for a while.

Injustice Collectors

1.) Injustice Collectors are convinced that they are never wrong. How is it possible that they are never wrong? It is simple: They are always right.

2.) Injustice Collectors never apologize. Ever. For anything.

3.) Injustice Collectors truly believe that they are morally and ethically superior to others and that others chronically do not hold themselves to the same high standards as the injustice collector does.

4.) Injustice Collectors make the rules, break the rules and enforce the rules of the family. They are a combined legislator, police, and judge and jury of

5.) Injustice Collectors never worry about what is wrong with themselves as their "bad list" grows. Their focus is always on the failings of others.

6.) Injustice Collectors are never upset by the disparity of their rules for others with their own expectations of themselves.

7.) Injustice Collectors rationalize their own behavior with great ease and comfort.

Here are more with 20 characteristics

Characteristics of Injustice Collectors

1. Injustice collectors are never wrong. How is it possible that they are never wrong? It's simple: They are always right.

2. Injustice collectors never apologize. Ever. For anything.

3. Injustice collectors truly believe they are morally and ethically superior to others and that others seem incapable of holding themselves to the same high standards as the injustice collector does.

4. Injustice collectors make the rules, break the rules and enforce the rules of the family. They are a combination of legislator, police, judge and jury to those they consider their subjects. They forever banish from their kingdom any subject they deem disloyal, and only grant clemency if there is sufficient (in their eyes) contrition.

5. Injustice collectors never worry about what is wrong with them as their "bad" list grows. Their focus is always on the failings of others.

6. Injustice collectors are never troubled by the disparity between their rules for others and their own expectations of themselves. Injustice collectors rationalize their own behavior with great ease and comfort.

7. Injustice collectors have an external orientation; the problem always exists in the world, outside of themselves, and in their view, the world would be an acceptable place if their rules and standards were followed at all times.

8. Injustice collectors do not have a capacity for remorse, empathy or guilt.

9. Injustice collectors scoff at the idea of therapy, therapists, self-help books, and other tools used by people who struggle to live with them.

10. The phrase "walking on eggshells" describes life with an injustice collector.

11. The IC (injustice Collector) will prey upon your weaknesses to frame all issues in their terms.

12. IC's will always cry foul when you are 'mean' to them and accuse you of being nasty when you are confronting them with their negative behavior.

13. They are titanically insecure and cannot trust anyone. All relationships they have, even with their own parents and children and trustless and must be reinforced by subordination over and over.

14. They can only strengthen relationships through imprisoning their mates and banning behaviors and other relationships. Friends and family are a huge threat to the IC.

15. They must repetitively revisit situations where you service them, give in to them and agree with them. They will over time shrink your world to a small plot of empty activities that only they like. They are terrified of travel, meeting new people, understanding new concepts and paroling you from any punishment they have previously 'convicted' you of.

16. They do not care about you at all, they care about aggrandizing themselves with you as an assistant producer.

17. They will occasionally do something for you, but if you are not completely brainwashed, it will be a negative experience for you in the end. Example is throwing you a birthday party. I guarantee you will not have fun at your own party.

18. They will force you to choose between them and other things you like or love. The more you choose them, the more they will make you choose them over and over. They do not understand the concept of loyalty at all.

19. Hypocrisy is their modus operandi for debating and arguing with you. Everything they say about you is true about them. (aka Projection) It makes it so you try to 'win' fights by getting them to agree with you, which they never can because their whole position is false.

20. Your life will disappear into their lives. Your hopes and dreams will fade, even in your own mind. You will eat what they want, you will watch what they want on TV, you will vacation where they want, or not at all.

Identifying The Next Mass Murderer—Before It’s Too Late
https://www.psychologytoday.com/blo...ntifying-the-next-mass-murderer-it-s-too-late

On June 17, 2015, according to authorities, Dylann Storm Roof (link is external) walked into the Emanuel
African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, sat down, and after an hour or so allegedly shot three men and six women, attending a bible study class. Immediately people began to take sides, and not just about the gun debate. Was this an act of terror? Was this a hate crime? Was this a “lone wolf?” Was this a conspiracy? On and on. What is interesting as well as frustrating is that none of these terms serve a useful purpose.

Four years ago, on July 22, 2011, Anders Behring Breivik set off a bomb near the government headquarters of the Labor Party in Oslo, Norway; after which he proceeded to the secluded island of Utøya, where he methodically killed, with a high powered rifle, 65 plus children attending a youth event. Does it matter if we call Anders Behring Breivik a terrorist, mass murderer, or a lone wolf? Not really, only one thing matters: how did he become this way, and were there signs that could have prevented this horrendous tragedy?

Once again we face a mass murder (FBI defined as 4 or more) and we need to get past the debate over the nomenclature (terrorist, extremist, mass murderer, lone wolf, genocide, etc.)—that serves no prophylactic purpose. When it comes to Dylann Storm Roof, Anders Behring Breivik, the Boston Marathon Bombers, or the likes of Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski known as the UNABOMBER, and Timothy McVeigh, it’s not what we call them, the issue is: could we have prevented their acts? The answer is yes. And yet, we seem to be incapacitated when we hear the term “lone wolf” or “solo terrorist” as if we were describing a demon beyond our capability to identify and stop.

Websleuth Radio Interview Tina Meier
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/websleuths/2013/09/30/tricias-true-crime-radio-adult-cyber-bullying

Starting at the 20:40 mark from September 2013 Websleuths Radio Interview. Tina Meier, Megan Meier's mother, is describing Lori Drew as a very talkative person who complained nonstop. She is described as a very unhappy and bitter person in a unhappy marriage. Drew wanted everyone to know her plight and suffering in life. Meier's description of Drew is typical of an injustice collector. Meier's description of Drew probably describes Stephen Paddock. Meier's description describes Omar Mateen, Mohamed Atta, Osama bin Laden, Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, Elliot Rodger, Adam Lanza, Eric Harris, Andrew Kehoe, Vester Flanagan, Yoselyn Ortega, and Jodi Arias. We should hear more about him later in the coming days.

Elliot Rodger: An Analysis
https://schoolshooters.info/sites/default/files/rodger_analysis_2.0.pdf

From the article.
Beyond his entitlement, lack of empathy, and sadism, Rodger was also what the FBI report on school shooters labeled an “injustice collector.” This was described as follows: “The student nurses resentment over real or perceived injustices. No matter how much time has passed, the “injustice collector” will not forget or forgive those wrongs or the people he or she believes are responsible” (O’Toole, 2000, 17). Rodger went through life accumulating a sense of having been wronged by women; he nursed his resentment until it drove him to murder. Such resentment appears to be a product of his narcissism — as he was quoted above, “How dare they” not give him the love and adoration he deserved.

There is an Investigation Discovery show called Web Of Lies that featured Megan Meier story. Tina Meier was interviewed in the show. She described the Drews having trouble fitting in and as outcasts. Lori Drew is described as intensely sociable who complained frequently. It has been reported that Stephen Paddock was not that sociable. It is unknown if he is a constant complainer, which is a common characteristics of mass killers and terrorists. I would not be surprised if he is one. Drew is a social climber like Wanda Holloway or Betty Broderick. She is very obsessed about status. Not much with Paddock. Drew looks more for approval and acceptance. Paddock is looking for respect, but there are signs he does care about social status.

Can't find any info on his education except for high school in southern Ca. Have also seen where he was a mail carrier
at one time. Not so sure he had any long time career as an accountant. He moved around a LOT, having lived in 27 places.

Isabelle, can you elaborate on your comment about 'card counting' for us non-gamblers? thanks

Interestingly the shards of glass from the hammered window most likely did not fall on the sidewalk and therefore didn't raise any attention. There is a wide ledge/ overhang, and the roof/ portico of the House of Blues:

LAS VEGAS (AP) - ATF: Las Vegas shooter had devices attached to 12 weapons allowing semiautomatic rifles to mimic fully automatic gunfire.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I watched a Youtube demonstrating how effective bump-fire stocks are. I wasn't even aware of them before that. It got me thinking: Fully automatic weapons are illegal as hell, but here's a device that "Rambo-izes" a gun for cheap, and it's legal. Ridiculous.

Due to regulations it was probably safety glass which is either laminated or tempered and does not produce shards. I only know this because I work for a glass company lol. I can’t imagine the architects would spec regular plate glass (picture frame glass for exampl). However if it is safety glass, or an insulated unit, he must have put some effort into breaking it.

How do we even know any of this is true and the employees aren't confusing someone else for those two? Supposedly he recently transferred a large amount of money to Philippines.

Sorry, but the FBI, ATF, state and local LE seem to have this situation under control. They're doing a great job as they are. Haven't heard in the news media of any requests for out of state LE volunteers to come to town and help out. Can you think of any reason why large numbers of out of state LE would feel the need to volunteer their services without anyone asking?

According to the LA Times article at the link, the couple came to that Starbucks frequently. It was located inside a casino near their home in Mesquite, NV. He usually paid for drinks with his credit card, so they would have the opportunity to see his name.

Meanwhile, investigators are taking a harder look at the shooter's girlfriend and what she might have known about the attack at a country music festival, with the sheriff naming her a "person of interest" and saying the FBI is bringing her back to the U.S. on Wednesday for questioning.

They have been speaking with girlfriend Marilou Danley, 62, who was out the country at the time of the shooting and in the Philippines on Tuesday, and "we anticipate some information from her shortly," Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said.

Lombardo said he is "absolutely" confident authorities will find out what set off Paddock, a 64-year-old high-stakes gambler and retired accountant who killed himself before police stormed his 32nd-floor room.
"The fact that he had the type of weaponry and amount of weaponry in that room, it was preplanned extensively," the sheriff said, "and I'm pretty sure he evaluated everything that he did and his actions, which is troublesome."

Lombardo said the investigation is proceeding cautiously in case criminal charges are warranted against someone else.

"This investigation is not ended with the demise of Mr. Paddock," the sheriff said. "Did this person get radicalized unbeknownst to us? And we want to identify that source."
