You are a treasure trove of information Miss Dot! It sounds like these guys wanted to do what Dahmer wanted to do - make sex slaves out of them and then kill them or sell them when they were through with them. Just awful, awful men! Lock them up and throw away the key I say.

Just wanted to give my gut feeling on that lawyers video.
It was so mysterious and I just felt like something very strange and ‘different’ was being implied about the arrested & thus the ‘defence’ of the terrible serial killings.
I’ve seen others here have posted they believe mental health/ neurological will be a defence, but I felt from the lawyers words that it will be somewhat different.
My brain was saying- is it mental health from him himself being a victim of crime (maybe in nyc) leaving him mentally scarred? is he struggling with gender or sexuality issues or perhaps even undertaking hormone treatments? I even thought do his religious parents think he is ‘possessed’ by evil? I dunno but it implied something very rare/ strange.
This was just my brain dump as that lawyer spoke on the video.
I think this case will continue to be a roller coaster.

Glad you shared them because I think I feel more secure in saying, the lawyer seems consummate at creating an aura of reasonable doubt which I guess would be his want, to tickle that very spot in the mind. What if HD suffer from som kind of illness that, among other things, affects his hand nerves/muscles, that in turn affect his hands fine engine and that this was the reason why he could not continue his basketball sport carrier, and therefore in no way could have flipped the mobile phone the way the killer on the video did ?

The only thing I could accept is that it is in fact an evil twin brother that has been hidden away for years and not Trai. He has been living in a home and simply just appeared. That is why his personality is so different. Other than that, there is nothing else to describe several premeditated murders.

I thought this forum was for discussing actual facts and how they link into an investigation and right now the facts are that this person who was arrested is admittedly the owner of the gun that was used to kill three of the four men. There’s no point in saying ‘what if?’ for something you have zero evidence about.

My "theory" was just a shot/thought due to MelbourneSleuth's post (se below) and HD's parents lawyer Ralph Fernandez's mysterious statement in the media saying something to the effect that when more info comes out it will change the whole case completely (quote and video link below).

I wonder what HD parents said to him when and if they saw him in jail. How can you tell your son you love him after you find out his is a serial killer? He needs to be told that he is a horrible person even by his parents. If not, he can be made to believe that anything he does is OK. Not that he will have an opportunity to do much more.....:jail:
