They never released the exact location information, I think. But the photos of police at the site, for people familiar with the forest, identifying the track was relatively simple. Finding the exact spot as you went further in would have proved more difficult once the tape is removed.

An autopsy has confirmed human remains found in a shallow grave at Caboolture, north of Brisbane, do belong to missing Albion man Samuel Thompson.

An interesting read this morning,although a brief mention of Sam,it is an article about drug deals gone wrong. Kind of makes you wonder if what we have been spexulating all along is indeed correct.

Thanks Drb for posting up the info. It is so sad that people especially young people lose their lives in the most horrible way over drugs.
I think most on Sam's thread thought his case involved something like that, but nothing like that has been verified to my knowledge by LE?
I feel so sad for Sam & his family, it truly is a wicked world and i hope one day they can smile again with all the wonderful memories they have of their beloved Sam.
Also hope justice will happen sometime soon and it can be a little bit of closure for all concerned.

As today is the anniversary of his premature departure i feel deeply for his family and close friends whom i've had the privilege of knowing personally; They are among the kindest, sweetest people i've met. I hope legal "justice" is served swiftly and the "punishment" is of the utmost harshness.
