Police: Dog, truck missing after Anderson man disappears from work

The Anderson Police Department is asking for help locating a man who went missing on Sunday.

Officers said 54-year-old Bobby Shane Harvey disappeared from All Ride LLC., where he works on U.S. 29 Business.

His truck, a white 2004 Ford F-350 with South Carolina tag P635126, is missing along with his dog, investigators said. The truck has gold and tan striping at the bottom.

Harvey is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Agreed, this doesnt seem to be playing out so well. Im actually currently in this area and all the noise around this points to him being a pretty decently well liked guy with friends & family that care about him.
Things seem to be unfolding pretty rapidly today, but if it hasn't already been wrapped up this evening when I can get some free time, I'll see what else I can dig up and maybe cruise some of the areas he was last seen...
Holding on to hope for him.

Thanks, SirenRiot. I am pretty sure his dog didn't just die of natural causes. I wonder if his dog was harmed just to be cruel or the dog was being protective of Bobby.
ETA Is All Ride a car dealership? ...maybe he wouldn't finance a car? I am sure it has been checked and they probably know if any cars are missing.
ETA Someone posted the dog was hit by a vehicle. Considered a rumor for now. either is sad.

Nice, yeah never know... again I'm kinda tied up for a few more hours but trying to do what I can on the side in the meantime.

Recently published article based on input from BH's mother, haven't seen some of these details anywhere else as of yet... Oh boy.
Makes some theories more likely than others... I'm really hoping that, if he was attacked, he ran and was able to hide. Not likely but again, trying to hold out any trace of hope here until proven otherwise.

So, his precious little pup (poor sweet thing) , his phone and truck (burned) have been found. He's wearing an ankle monitor. I'm guessing the monitor has been tampered with or removed if police haven't been able to find him using it. What a scary situation. He is definitely well loved, so many SM postings about him.
I see 2 scenarios...either he staged this because he's scared of being locked up again and is on the run (although I don't think he'd purposely hurt his pup)
Or foul play due to other players thinking he would tattle to get out of his current charge or a reduced charge.

IMO I think it's scenario 2 .....

I recall they responded to the fire about 5:25 a.m. or so.
There is always hope and nothing was mentioned about a body with/in the vehicle.

Specifically right now I would like to know if anyone has any experience or recent familiarity with criminal booking codes and requirements... I could dig in and decode on my own of course but again, trying to get through info gathering stage here first.
