Yes, that's true. I think LE had said that they were not sure he was driving his vehicle when it left the CDC ?
They said they presumed he was but were still seeing if they could find a tape confirming that. It may be that the camera angles on the parking decks mean there was no such tape.
We know TC was at the CDC that morning. LE said that anything they could think of that he owned was at the house, including his wallet. It seems likely to me that things he would have had with him at the CDC that morning, such as his badge and his uniform (though they didn't mention that specifically), are now back at the house. (Guess he could still be in the uniform but think they'd mention that if it was missing. Not sure how many copies of the uniform and of its elements are typically owned by each CDC commander.)
In addition, he apparently tried to call his mother after the meeting at the CDC, but the call did not go through. Not sure whether that would generate pings, but if so it might help confirm his location at the time.
Because the car and his belongings were found back at the house, it seems very likely to me that he went back there after going to the CDC. Of course, it's possible that someone else took the car and belongings back to the house after TC either went his own way or met with foul play. But I do think this is less likely.
Clearly, it would be great if LE could confirm that TC drove to work and that he drove home after the meeting. It would also be good if there was more info about whether they thought the sighting of him jogging was credible or iffy. I wish LE would have another press conference.
