I voted yes, being I have a renewed vigor now that EAR/ONS was caught. I never thought this day would come. But with more and more technology and tools, I think it's going to be harder to keep these devious secrets. LISK's time in the light will come, too!

Likewise, now that the EAR was caught I think this guy will get caught one day too. With DNA technology becoming better and better it'll get harder and harder for deviants like the LISK and the EAR to stay hidden.

I like the think that the LISK got pretty nervous from the capture of the EAR.

Suffolk County has a lot of cover ups by higher ups, Sacramento didn't have any cops covering up for a serial killer, at least I don't think.

If its true, & the feds don't have any DNA on LISK, I don't see how he will be caught by technology, although I could see him.caught if someone knows his deeds.

Unreal how one of the Gilgo 4's roommate could have seen the car picking her up if he had walked 10 more steps as he stated.

LISK, like GSK, was very lucky as well.

What is the latest thinking of the suspected lisk victims? DNA or Not? I would imagine there would be a better chance of finding it on victims that were found earlier.

If the feds have the DNA of LISK, there's no match in CODIS........& if they do have it, time to check out GED match.

Speculation: LISK's age IMO is between 47 & 55

I voted yes, but it's a tough question to answer without knowing how much/if any forensic evidence LE has to work with. I do believe this person can't stop and is most likely picking up prostitutes on a regular basis somewhere (if he's not in jail for another crime.)

I always felt the best evidence they might have would be to do some type of investigation as to who was soliciting prostitutes on Craigslist at the time of the murders. There must be some type of cyberspace commonality to all of these victims. Somehow retrace the last online steps of the victims until a connection is made. I believe all it will take is for one persistent FBI agent to make that connection. I believe that when they do catch him, we'll all be shocked at whatever innovative method they use.

Very sad for the victims and their families and I look forward to the day they put this guy behind bars.

Tens of thousands go onto graigslist everyday.
The girls phone numbers are on display for all to see.
There is no link to access them.
Theres no way to know who wrote down their phone numbers. And then called them on their burner phone.
The feds cant do what you suggested.
The logistics would not allow it.

I doubt an arrest will ever be made .
The selfserving BUMS at the SCPD fu--ed up the case.
I dont think they have an interest in solving this case.
I do believe its why the ADA said John Bittrollf may be responsible.
I think that comment was made to fool the families and public into believing the killer is sitting in prison.

It is so hard for me to believe that with all the bodies, all the different manners of murder, all the different correlations involving all of the victims, whether it was one person or multiple, that there is no more evidence available than what SCPD claims. There absolutely has to be a cover up of some degree going on. If LISK is multiple people, I am expected to believe they were all so careful as to not leave evidence? The same goes for if LISK is one person. With all the different manners of the murders from arrangement of bodies to dismemberment, one person could be so careful for so long a time and not mess up and leave evidence? I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that all these years later there is still nothing.

I didn't think they would ever catch the Golden St Killer thru regular detective work or by using CODIS, but didn't expect the new way of genealogical DNA advancements to be used to catch him thru an open source DNA bank matching to him, wowsers!

If LISK is a one man show, it will take advanced technology to catch him like they caught the GSK, if there's more than one killer working in tandem, someone may talk, or mess up & snitch on the others.

To the best of my information Shannan had a 30odd page of a diary/notebook with names and other information. She also has a client list. One page had about 30 names. Then there are her phone call records. I can only tell you what I saw. I can also tell you I was told the SCPD never bothered to get these records. I can just tell you what was told and shown to me.

Would be a great way to back track & see who the unidentified women & child are........but Suffolk county has been dragging their feet for many years on the LISK case.

Also, most, if not all these women were prostitutes/escorts, & they receive the lowest priority in an investigation.

Look at Gary Ridgway, attributed to 49 murders as the Green River Killer, confessed to 71 over a 20 year span, all prostitutes. Police don't find a high priority in missing/murdered prostitutes, & that's why serial killers go after them, they know there's a good chance to get away with murdering them.

if the killer himself walked into the SCPD and told Detective (over my dead body) Porthole (or something that sounds like Porthole) admitted he's the murderer and provided inside info that only the killer would know, Porthole would either announce that he had this guy on his radar for years as a suspect and now he's solved the case (I'm a hero!) OR he'd just tell the killer to leave (the SCPD ain't interested in solving this case). Either way... it's all bs and has been for years.

Do you guys remember the statement LE put out when John Ray tried to submit the autopsy report by Baden? They did not want it. They wanted to stand by the original.
John Ray gave it to the FBI. Along with any info he came across.
John Ray encouraged LE to investigate Shannans death. This was because her death was not being investigated as a possible homicide. He believed she was murdered. LE said she wasnt.
Now LE is pretending Shannans death is being investigated.
LE is conviently using the above as excuses not to hand over the tapes.
