NSW coroner joins William Tyrrell search | PerthNow
It's understood no clear sign of William has been found so far and, if nothing is discovered in the final week of searching, investigators will be able to confidently conclude the boy was abducted.
Ms Grahame's presence at the search is understood to be a result of the high-profile nature of the Tyrrell case, not because it has been referred to the coroner for an inquest.
Detective Chief Inspector Gary Jubelin, the homicide investigator overseeing the 50-strong specialist search party, is open minded about handing the case to the coroner in the future.

"I want to stress we have numerous lines of inquiry including persons of interest that we are going to fully exhaust before the matter goes to a coroner," he said at the start of the search in June.
"Until we know conclusively that William is not alive, we'll treat it with the possibility that he still is alive."

One of those lines of inquiry prompted a search in a small patch of bushland - a few kilometres from the main area - which was connected to a high-risk person of interest in the case.

Why I am asking about six maps date of aerial photograph capture. have a look at the attached. There is something in the middle of the area the police were searching. looks bluish in colour - may be a vehicle as there is no house or building in that area is there?
For me the bluish looks like in a crescent shape ....

And just may be that the scent that was picked up was as a consequence of the arrival on 11september not a scent trail from 12 september. The public have never been told the exact locations the dog picked up on just that the scent was within the property boundaries.

There is a large stormwater storage tank under the deck where William had been playing. I do hope that had been checked.a small child may have chosen such a place to play hide n seek not knowing the risk of drowning. These tanks have an external access point at the top. The tank is visible on google earth street view from location where 2 cars were supposed to be parked.
Are you able to capture a screen shot and post it here in the thread (with the link from where you got it from)? There was been much discussion in the past about these types of other possibilities, but it seems that generally, this topic is not appreciated.. however, there do remain some of us who sincerely hope that anything like that was gone over with a fine-toothed comb, as opposed to other methods which may not show a body (such as a camera that might only show what is directly in front of the camera at that second).

It was noticed that BS's septic tank did get fully pumped out by a duly registered septic company, however there is no indication that the property from which the boy disappeared (and/or others in the immediate neighbouring area) received the same treatment, which I find peculiar. Is a stormwater storage tank the same type of thing??

I located it on Sixmaps and it might well be a car in my opinion. It's just beside the track that loops up off McCollums Road. I'm not sure it's blue though--that's probably sky reflection. Also, if the police were searching the triangular lot as we thought, it's not in the middle of the area police were searching. About 600m away.

If William had fallen inside the tank and the lid replaced itself any odour may have not escaped. yeah yeah I get your point about the dog not pickup his scent around the tank on the outside but would a dog pick up a scent from a body in water enclosed in a very thick plastic tank.
I had a tank like that (but metal) dismantled and there was so much mud in the bottom. If a small child or animal slipped in and sank, sank into the mud . . . it would be dark inside, perhaps even if you sent a camera down you might miss it.

I don't know how he'd get in there. Especially as he didn't like heights.

it has never been mentioned in any media coverage therefore it's not safe to assume anything.
Absolutely. I'm pretty sure that media photogs caught pretty much everything that went on in that street on the day and days after WT mysteriously disappeared. They even caught a washing machine repair van parked on the street days later! (I can't vouch for whether or not it was BS's van, however BS himself did state that he visited the home days later.) They even catch looks on peoples' faces, which at the time, the people in the photos aren't even necessarily 'known'. We can safely bet that a big to-do would have been made in media about a septic pump truck actually pumping FGM's septic tank. I'm not sure of the process of checking storm water basins..
I'll bet that the photogs can provide important photo documentation of different things that took place, which may even come in very handy to a resulting police investigation at some point, past or future. jmo.

Exactly.. about the camera may not catch certain things. I have seen images/video of a camera going down into a system, and it is more detailed in a specific area, rather than a look all over.. something could definitely be missed, imho. But we've hashed through this conversation before. Thank you for your personal perspective.

New search for William Tyrrell
The next lead in the investigation was grimmer still. In 2015, police were tipped off to an "active" local paedophile ring that they investigated vigorously. Questions about endemic child abuse in Kendall - a town of just over a thousand people - and surrounds were raised and are still not answered to some people's satisfaction.

"They found a paedophile ring here, and didn't do anything about it?!" asked one incredulous resident this week.

"How can it be a coincidence, that both a ring of sickos who prey on children and a missing child are all from one small town?"
-.-
He has never been charged in relation to William's disappearance, but in 2016 was charged with historic sex offences in Victoria.

Spedding's connection to the crime led investigators to faith-based grandparenting support group, GAPA - Grandparents As Parents Again.

Within the group, which claims to have no link to Spedding, former president Paul Bickford has been charged with the indecent assault of a child and another former GAPA member, Anthony Jones of Wauchope, has also been charged with indecent assault.
-.-
On Wednesday, Jubelin came as close as he publicly has to conceding that finding Tyrrell alive was increasingly unlikely.

But police have not given up, he warned, and the possibility of criminal charges remain.
-.-

Incl. pic of Benaroon Dr. 48 with the stormwater tank-side of the house, I think.

That would have been BS days later. he detailed in his 2015 youtube video that he'd returned on 18/9 to repair washing machine. It's not a stormwater basin it is a stormwater storage tank that holds water collected from the household's gutters.

Maybe you should alert crimestoppers, in case they overlooked it. Or Jubelin. Could be the missing piece of the puzzle.
