He took those rings from her cold , broken , dead fingers. How Joanne could agree to wear them tells me more about her that isn't pleasant to contemplate.

The Edu. Dept of NSW murdered Lynne metaphorically.. giving her husband a pat on the back and an 'attaboy' smooth ride with impeccable references all through his career. He still is employed today , with all the superannuation intact, all the perks, all the status.

The NSW Police murdered Lynne metaphorically in their turn. If she was silly enough to leave a Rugby player, well.. It is peculiar in the extreme that the tiniest bit of investigation , like, enquiring from all North Shore councils if there were any residential cults in their parish, a simple question, you 'd think the first to be asked. A check on any such of a thing up the entire coast should surely have been considered. No one appears to have checked with the bus drivers out of Mona Vale, either.

What he said went over so well with the police!.. and on top of that, the Family Court appears to have mismanaged the divorce . Just because Lynne didn't turn up, or respond to any letters, doesn't give permission for the court to dispose of the shared property in the husbands favour. Her share of the sale of all the estate, that is 50%, should have been held in escrow by the Public Trustee until such time as Lynne either claims it, or is pronounced dead. Then her next of kin, which isn't him, since he divorced her, is the beneficiary. Her daughters have been well and truly done over by Dawson. She was not pronounced dead when he divorced her. And as for the rings, they were Lynettes property, her apparent discarding of them doesn't change the ownership of them, you can leave your wallet in a phone booth, but whoever picks it up and uses it is charged with theft, they should have been held by the Public Trustee in trust for her daughters. I was shocked to the core that this could be done so quietly, so smoothly. Why on earth wasn't an 'amicus curie' a friend of the court, appointed to speak for Lynette in her absence ? .

And at both subsequent inquests, she was deemed deceased, and he was named as the murderer, then he has got away with profiting ( greatly) from his crime,
a crime without limitations.

Dawson had it both ways.. he got all the money by pretending she was dead, and he got away with murder by pretending she went to a religious cult. How can that be ?

I really hope his days are numbered Troop...........such an evil **** & all those who enabled him & there are lots who did!!

I'd love to know why the DPP didn't want a bar of this, unfortunately they are a protected entity who has to answer to no one............ as I heard first hand at the siege inquest.

There is so much injustice in our supposed justice system, so many police stuff ups, evidence lost, procedures not followed & cover ups that it makes my blood boil & cold blooded murderers get a free pass time & time again.

I learnt a hell off a lot from attending the siege inquest & alot of it very eye opening, how each dept is so fractured that info does not get passed from one to another ..............we have a really broken system ..............

It couldn't be more obvious, from Hedley's remarks, the non co-operation from the NSW police is such damning , disturbing blatant proof of the NSW police having a 'consciousness of guilt' about their own participation and protracted coverup of this murder.

Otherwise, they would be working with Hedley!. but no. .. not a bit of it.

What I'd like to see, Dr S.. is Paul and Marilyn escorted into the holding pen and held accountable for those days leading up to and after Lynne's disappearance, their involvement, assistance and decision to keep silent all these years..

It was interesting to hear Chris Kenny just as cranky about the sexual misadventures going on..

To put that era in context, again.. These high school girls would have been the first high school girls in history who's mothers had benefited from using the Contraceptive Pill through their adulthood, and no doubt they , in their wisdom, encouraged their girls to avail themselves of this huge leap in medical invention.
And these young men teachers would have been the first in history to have a smorgasbord of young women using this barrier to sexual conquest, ( and contest ) removed , to their undoubted advantage.

In a way, they probably saw themselves as pioneers, the fear of unplanned pregnancy being a non issue. Most times.

if so, that is abhorrent to lyns memory and she owes it to her mother to get educated and on board with the TRUTH.

and just touching on your earlier post trooper about the wearing lyns rings...….much darker and uglier than anyone has cared to talk about.

Murder suspect Chris Dawson exerted total control over his former teenage lover Joanne Curtis after they moved to Queensland to start a new life, a friend says.

Karen Cook spent many days with Ms Curtis when they both had young children and has described her as living like a “Stepford wife” in a large but isolated house on the back blocks of the Gold Coast.

“Joanne confided to us that she was frightened of Chris, that she was given a very small amount each week to keep the house and provide for the children,” Ms Cook told The Australian.

Mr Dawson’s twin brother Paul, his wife Marilyn and their children moved to an address nearby with the same features.

I wonder how, in a legal sense, this will go if it ever gets in front of a jury? So much info in the public from this podcast............

You could try real estate sites at least you could get numbers. Eg allhomes.com.au will give you a list of all houses on that street and put that into streetview.
