UK -Major incident declared - UK anti-terror police investigating possible nerve agent attack, 2018

How does he know he didn't find it in the park or apartment if he doesn't remember? Are they trying to jog his memory?
Sounds like he regularly dumpster dived in city beans and found things there, which is probably why he doesn't remember the exact dumpster he found it in. Finding it in the park or apartment would have been unusual so he knows that didn't happen. Also there were other people with him in the park and they don't remember him finding any perfume, according to the article.

Safety measures to protect mourners at funeral of novichok victim Dawn Sturgess
'Safety measures have been put in place to protect mourners at the funeral of novichok murder victim Dawn Sturgess.

There will be no pallbearers when the mother-of-three is cremated in Salisbury on Monday and her coffin will already be there when people arrive.'

Public Health England (PHE) have been working with the funeral directors and the crematorium to prevent any further exposure to the nerve agent that caused Ms Sturgess' death."

Seriously, it would not actually surprise me if it was that brand, what better way for the culprits to clearly mark and keep track of the package.

Reminded of the days not too long ago, when entry into a department store was a sure way to be bombarded by sales people automatically spraying you with " sample " perfume.
Times change, hated that then, fearful now!
imo, speculation.

amazon has saved us !!

Wow - that is serious. I knew the poison was dangerous, but not this dangerous that precautions at a funeral are necessary.

RIP, Dawn.

but as weeks go by they keep getting actually MORE for lack of a better word protective

i think they know ( i dont know maybe a certain amount of it known to missing or something like that )

they are obviously very concerned about something

Wiltshire air ambulance grounded by tests for novichok
"An air ambulance has been grounded and its base closed to allow specialists to test for the nerve agent novichok following the poisoning of Dawn Sturgess and Charlie Rowley in Wiltshire.

Police accepted that the development would alarm people, but insisted that the measure was only precautionary and that the risk to both the public and emergency personnel remained low.

Testing will take place at the air ambulance base in Semington, near Trowbridge. The helicopter itself, other emergency vehicles and kit worn by responders involved in the initial response to the poisoning of Sturgess and Rowley will be examined. It is not believed that the helicopter played a direct role in the initial response, but some paramedics who went to help the couple may later have flown in the aircraft."

Okay, this is really getting bizarre and almost beyond comprehension!
rbbm.
"He told ITV News he had found a sealed box in a cellophane wrapper containing a perfume bottle some days earlier, and had kept it at his Amesbury home, before handing it to his partner of two years as a gift.

He explained how he struggled to remember where he had originally found the item but was convinced it was legitimate, as it looked like it hadn't been used, "Which made me think it was quite safe," he said."

This could be how the spy agents got it through the airport if they traveled with it. They may have made it look like a box of new perfume. Not sure if they mixed it in Russia or England though. I read that it had to be mixed with an activator type liquid to make it become active. Maybe they had mixed it together and resealed the box to make it look new in case they were caught by police either on plane or on British soil.

Its really not too hard to make a package look unopened and make it look new again. If it was in a box all they had to do is carefully open the box lid and then glue the lid back down with a little glue and the box would appear unopened. And they make shrink wrap plastic sheets that you can buy and pull around an obect and then use a blow dryer to shrink wrap the plastic around the box. Would look brand new.

I dont know guys

this is starting to really feel like overkill

there is a big difference between somewhere and the cabin of a helicopter that I trust has been occupied in the last month

something feels odd

its kinda like mice ( i had a bunch of em as a kid they were awesome so cute and white!)

if one is out in the whole house look and look

but a month later to go back and look in a small closet seems almost backwards??

:)

returns can sometimes fall in the same category!!

helpful hint here open stuff you think you might return from the bottom

less focus on the bottom of a box!!

A one inch roll of clear tape is always awesome -- open from bottom seal with tape top looks unopened and your good to go!!

Police seize bins where Charlie Rowley may have found novichok bottle in Salisbury for testing
rbbm.
"Two industrial rubbish bins where the bottle of deadly novichok that killed Dawn Sturgess may have been found have been removed from Salisbury for testing."

"Charlie Rowley told ITV News there was a possibility he found the item while looking for “treasure” among rubbish in the city centre days before falling ill. He described his memory of finding what he believed to be a sealed bottle of perfume as “vague”, ruling out all potential locations apart from bins at the back of shops near The Cloisters pub."
"Investigators have not ruled out the possibility that another bottle of novichok may have been dumped by the culprits who targeted Sergei Skripal and his daughter in March."

Ho hum. Nothing useful to add, but I stayed in Amesbury in July. Still a fair few scene guards in place - I contemplated taking the police over some bottles of water as they sat there in the sun. A nice place, though I was very wary of the puppy trying to eat anything!

Massively coincidental how close it is to Porton Down...
