deleted.. I knew I should have read on before posting.

For the folks examining the chair. The left front leg has some slight damage to the top (front right leg in original pics) that had come up previously. That particular damage looks a little like possible dog damage to me.

But, with the interview going in, this seems OT too now!

In the interview on DrydenWire - Sheriff states if he thought she was in Barron, if he had information that she was still in Barron, he'd write a warrant for each home there and search each one. That was pretty telling. It seems he doesn't think she is still in the immediate area.

So with the chair damage, it looks likely that more than 2 shots (Which the neighbour heard) were fired, a possibility when taken in context with the bullet casings found in the home which always suggested more than 2.....MOO

Here are some interview snips with Chris Fitzgerald's responses :

Is there DNA found at the scene? No Comment

Can you comment on evidence collected? No Comment

Was there a sex assault during this invasion? No comment

Rumors of Jayme having 19 year old boyfriend true? Can't comment on that

What is the damage to the chair? No comment on the evidence

Will you release toxicology results from autopsies? We will when the case is ready to be released, we wont release evidence on the bodies, or the shootings or where they were shot. Toxicology takes longer to get back in yet, takes longer to get in and haven't been briefed on that.

Has the whole family including extended family been cleared?
Family has been interviewed and cooperating

How long parents deceased? Commotion on phone, 4 minutes later deputies on scene, they were deceased

Why aren't they releasing 911 call? Good question, that's part of the active investigation I don't think it would help, I think it would put more questions in peoples mind .it is poor quality, not from the technical side but poor quality because where ever the phone was in the house was a distance away from , like me doing this interview from in the hallway, you could hear me but you couldn't really hear me.so that's what I mean. Autopsy and 911 calls wont be released until crime is solved.

Any damage from the dogs that I have owned over the past 30 years is at floor level, they chew while laying down. (Usually puppies teething.)
EXCEPT for the damage done to the door frames. That was done while sitting up.
Yes, we have a dog that DESTROYED a door frame and the sheetrock because my husband had an anaphylactic reaction during surgery and ended up in the ICU.
I didn't know anyone to call to go check on them and it was almost 24 hours before I could return home.
Hubby is fine now, and all damages were fixed!
IMO - this chair was struck by a bullet or used to hit someone or something.
MOO

So the phone was found inside the house then. That clears up for me whether it was outside on the property somewhere.

From the DrydenWire interview:
Sheriff indicates they know about the family party, they know what time they left, and where they went after - makes me wonder, did they go straight home or elsewhere before home?

Also - how come they don't know if James was at the Casino that night???

From the DrydenWire interview - Sheriff says =- "I don't know anything about the rope".

The. Interesting word. That is definitive to me. If there was no rope, he might have said "a rope".

"The rope"- let that sink in.

I'm not sure if you are notating his plural verbiage?, but I feel like the verbiage in his response mirrored the direct question asked:

Was there a chair with ropes tied to it in evidence? We did take a chair into evidence. I don't know anything about the ropes.

I also found it interesting that he didn't use the word "cleared" when discussing family. He said they had been interviewed and we're cooperating. But there are a lot of interesting "no comment"s.

Lots of LE won't say "cleared" because really no one is ever cleared completely until they find the real perp. The most you can say is that no present evidence points to Person A and a lot of evidence points away from them, and something could turn up tomorrow to change the picture totally. So it probably doesn't mean anything by itself.

But the pattern of no comments does paint a rather interesting picture.

I'm sorry that for bringing up something that was already discussed and dismissed. Just so I don't have to go deep searching into old threads, can somebody please remind me how we know that the suitcase the evidence technician had belonged to her
(evidence technician ). Again, it would really save me a lot of time if someone just can recall how we came to that conclusion.

I’m sorry. Sheriff sounds more like a politician than anything else. I’m hopeful he’s not really in charge of the investigative work. (Not meant to disparage LE, just concerning to me.) Maybe all sheriffs are this way?

I didn’t get that impression AT ALL. He does sound discouraged to me however, which discourages me greatly. I was really hoping they had more to go on, and it sounds like they don’t. :(

Took some notes on the DrydenWire interview with the Sheriff. He answered a ton of questions. Here are my notes:

- Sheriff leans toward this being targeted, has not ruled out a random attack
- Everyone has cooperated -- local residents, current and former Jennie-O employees, friends, family, etc.
- Don't know if it was multiple perps or a lone perp
- Don't have a lot of evidence. Have released most of what they have
- Sheriff believes she is alive, but says that's just his gut, has no evidence to support this
- Person who stole Jayme's underwear from the house was cleared because he had an alibi and didn't own a vehicle. He is currently in jail
- Will not comment on DNA recovered from the scene
- 911 call was from a phone that seemed to be a good distance away from some commotion in the house. (Compared it to how the interview he was doing would sound if he were out in the hallway)
- Organized crime? Kind of laughed and said "can't be ruled out"
- Really not concentrating on the Challenger vehicle.
- Manufacturers were asked to identify vehicles from video that was obtained. Not releasing video to public because it is very poor quality
- Said Jayme hasn't necessarily been cleared as a suspect, but there is absolutely nothing to indicate that she is involved. Don't know 100% so won't take that off the table.
- Says abducted vs missing/endangered are basically the same thing. Just can't use the word abducted because LE doesn't know that for fact
- Why hasn't this case been solved? "They were probably only in that residence for 4 minutes." "If I'm in your house for 25 minutes I'm bound to touch something...leave a fingerprint...DNA, shoeprint, whatever. If I'm only in your house one minute today, you know, I'm probably not going to leave as much evidence. And so, that might be part of it."
- All sex offenders in the county have been checked, alibis verified.
- Don't know the answer to whether Dad was at casino night of murders
- Chair was taken into evidence. Says he doesn't know anything about ropes tied to it
- Sex trafficking? We don't know
- Recognizes low probability that Jayme would be kept alive by abductor. Referenced Cleveland case where women were held alive for years
- Have reports on who missed work/school since she went missing. Nothing suspicious
- Wants hunters to look for anything out of place when deer season starts
- Can't comment on rumors of 19 year old boyfriend
- Don't believe the perp was there for a long time
- All family has been interviewed and cooperated. Wouldn't say they were cleared
- Nothing about the family party, when they left it, or where they went after will help solve the case.
