Well this is certainly unusual. The difference in those two linked articles is striking. I'd be very interested to know what her husband looks like.

A ship like that has lots of security cameras, so I assume it has been possible to verify that the husband was not present.

I wonder if they knew other people on the cruise, or if they mainly socialised with each other.

Woman who died on cruise didn't want to go on trip with her husband | Daily Mail Online

On Tuesday morning, the couple's adult children appeared on Good Morning America where they made dramatic comments about the trip.

'My mom did not want to go on this cruise. She did not. Blank point. She knew something was going to happen,' the couple's 32-year-old daughter Andrea said.

She added that the couple had 'specifically' gone on the vacation to work on their marriage.

'He specifically said they were going on this cruise because they wanted one week in order to work on their relationship just them two alone,' she said.

Their son Tim added that the night before she left for the trip, his mother hugged him for what seemed like an unusually long time.

He claimed he asked her why and she said: 'Well it might be the last hug you get from me.'

Just yesterday, they were standing by their father...

  • Their two adult children are standing by their father after daughter Andrea, 32, confirmed to DailyMail.com that he was 'never arrested'
  • 'We are waiting for the full report by the FBI. We are both close to our parents and are in shock,' she said

And I read or saw her brother being interviewed and it said he was on the cruise too. So was this couple on cruise alone or not?

It seems there were several witnesses but alcohol may play a part in getting a good description or the witnesses are vague because they know the person responsible.Security cameras usually do not get clear footage at night and at a distance.

Let me get this straight - she taught school in Spanish fort, which is south Alabama, but lived with her son who was a student at the University of Alabama which is north central Alabama? Which one is it?

I generally adore your posts but... what difference does it make at this point where she lived? Bad reporting perhaps? no big surprise there...

I’m so confused after reading this story. From the Daily Mail story it sounded as though they don’t think her husband was the assailant. In fact, he apparently been released and was never arrested. Idk what’s going on. The kids basically blaming dad for this, saying she had a premonition this would happen in one story and then one stating the kids are on team dad 100%. I need a drink.

It’s hard to tell if he’s “muscular “, but he’s certainly not scrawny. It can’t be that difficult to identify the guy in the cideo . I almost wonder if it’s a for-hire situation. Especially after seeing that he has a lucrative career.
