KK had KB's phone on Nov. 24, by her own admission in court, under oath. KB was last seen alive on Nov. 22. Who, other than PF, who had baby K, would be posting on SM that KB was missing prior to Dec. 2, when CB called PF and then the police?
I would think the battery would be dead by the 25th yet it pinged in ID, so I guess not. I suppose we can loosely assume it was in CO til the 24th. Pf had it? Then kk 'moved it'on the 24th/25th...

I believe the LLC was identified about 30+ threads ago --if not removed for violating TOS (sleuthing family). Good thing about LLC's is that they definitely protect the privacy of the LLC members and/or beneficiaries!
BBM
I am co-owner in a LLC and you are correct. The B family are business and financially savvy, hardworking and responsible people and I believe KB was raised to be also. One more reason to thank our lucky stars that the B's have physical custody of Baby K.

Do you suppose they'll go with orange jailhouse overalls this time, to better coordinate with the bullet proof vest, or will they stick with the stylish green and white stripes? IMO
Not to be the petty jerk in this crowd, but I’m just hoping it’s whatever color makes him the least comfortable

Thanks for the excellent book reference.
Those types of books are invaluable.

Reminds me of the book my Dad gave me as he was teaching me how to deer hunt many years ago. This book (and my Dad) taught me how to properly field dress a deer.

The Complete Deer Hunt by Joe DeFalco

Mrs Wolle spent a lot of her winter spare time researching, and in summers her husband drove her to nearly every one of the mines. They never owned a four wheel drive, and had to quit after 1958, when car clearances dropped down lower. Mr Wolle had to be the greatest mountain driver of all time! IMO

I don't think he wanted full custody so much as he wanted not to drive over to her house and pick up K every morning so she could go to work. It was inconvenient for him. MOO
I think KB was cutting ties with PF. Maybe making more formal visitation so that they could go their own ways and have privacy, and restrict the conflict that may have been happening. The baby was probably walking, being potty trained, KB May have been ready to have her start day care. That day care may have been in the city she worked in.

If marriage was off the table, it was time to move on with separate lives and a structured custody/support arrangement. The best way to do this would have been for them to come to a mutual agreement before having it legally filed. Unfortunately, Patrick decided there would be no mutual agreement dedicated to the best interests of their daughter. He made it as ugly as it could possibly get.

I would be surprised if she was killed with a gun if it happened at her home. Too much blood that is difficult and time consuming to clean up. He is huge and she is so tiny. A gun wouldn’t be needed. The exception would be if there was a struggle for the gun. Or if something happened that made it very spur of the moment and not part of a plan.

If PF was being charged with murder and her body was already found, I would agree. My opinion is, she was killed with a gun, since he’s being charged for murder with no body. Maybe he had a silencer?

"Frazee and Kelsey went to Cracker Barrel, “the restaurant Darrell [Berreth] likes,” together on Thanksgiving Day 2018"
The place Darrell likes....

I think it is interesting that the quote "the restaurant Darrell likes" is included in the complaint document. I'm wondering if that means that Frazee did not actually say Cracker Barrel at first. Perhaps CB asked PF where they went to eat for Thanksgiving and perhaps PF couldn't remember the name of the place he had planned to say so he said something like, "We went to that place Darrell likes... you know... um..." and perhaps CB said, "Cracker Barrel?" and PF replied, "Yeah, that's it, Cracker Barrel."
It would have been obvious PF was lying if the conversation went like that. It also would have been easy to verify that PF and KB didn't go there with video and CC statements but I'm thinking there must be some reason we were told that Cracker Barrel is "the restaurant Darrell [Berreth] likes" in the complaint.

MOO.

I think KB was cutting ties with PF.

I think this is key.

IMO At first, PF enjoyed the kudos of having an attractive girlfriend who was in another league, professionally, to most of his crowd.

As the relationship lost its newness (relationships inevitably do), and domestic
obligations became the norm, he started being mean.

He may have found it particularly satisfying to make a pregnant woman/new mother cry.

Maybe one of his nasty refrains was to tell her she was hanging on him like a leech.

She bought the townhouse, possibly hoping that asserting her independence would help put the relationship on an even footing.

This probably made him feel exposed and inadequate. His behaviour became nastier.

It would not be surprising if she felt low or if she took anti-depressants.

She may have sometimes wanted to get away. (Her mother, when asked if Kelsey had ever gone missing before, pointedly said she always knew where Kelsey was).

If they were on-again/off-again, she may have started accepting more invitations to socialise with colleagues.

She probably couldn’t deal with his moods and aggression any longer. Perhaps she, reluctantly, started to talk about ending their relationship (possibly hoping it wouldn’t come to that), and how they would manage custody.

It suited him fine to keep her dangling, but once she started to call some of the shots he became angry and resentful.

For PF, the thought of Kelsey telling people she dumped him (and maybe getting herself a better boyfriend) was nearly the last straw.

The thought of her taking the baby away filled him with the ultimate rage.

I speculate.

Red truck

Her neighbor also provided some context that could help investigators about what happened Thanksgiving Day, saying they saw another red truck at the house. Berreth owns two cars — a red Chevy pickup and a small sedan — according to Stanfill.

Patrick Frazee, Berreth’s fiance, also owns a red pickup truck.

“I looked up there, and there was both red pickups there Thanksgiving Day. And that was from 12:30 [p.m.] to 1 p.m.,” the neighbor said. “The other two cars were parked with the vehicles facing the apartment, but his was parked sideways behind them.”

The neighbor said they never saw anybody on Thanksgiving Day, but having lived there while Berreth has over the last two years, they said they’ve seen the pickup before. They’ve also seen a man driving the pickup that has come and gone from the home to pick up or drop off a baby.

Neighbor: Kelsey Berreth is ‘a very kind-hearted person’

Does that read that Kelsey’s two vehicles were there and 2 red trucks.?
She had a red truck and a red sedan, which were there as well as PF's red truck, is how I read it.

Agree. This fool is trying to justify why PF murdered her with this garbage. What, the court system wasn't good enough for PF to get full custody? Waste of his time, let's just kill her off instead and make up stories about her mental health so people think she took off? Oh and let's bring KK into this, I'm sure she'll be happy to help me get rid of Kelsey's cell phone so that I can have full custody of the baby. Yeah, ok, Cline- perhaps another warrant in the future might be coming.
I just cannot understand what his explanation was going to be for a missing mother. I see he was trying multiple. For the life of me, how missing does your conscience have to be to murder someone then literally carry around their daughter the looks identical to her?

MOO.

It certainly could be. I tend to think that's just what he said. Example "we met at Cracker Barrel for dinner, you know, Darrell's favorite place". It was a way of endearing himself to CB/DB, as he'd remembered how much Darrell likes it.

PF is all over the place in his phone calls with CB. I imagine CB's hinky meter was maxed out in the red zone. She strikes me as someone who sees right through his BS.

If she had broken up with him, she would probably have told her mother about it. Since he was charged with three counts of soliciting in the timeframe from Sep 1st to Nov 1st, a motive for murder must have existed for at least three months before it happened, meaning that any Kelsey's recent decision might not have been a catalyst. Maybe they had fights, threats were made... I don't understand why they didn't break up when one or both realized that it wasn't going to work.

I don't think there is any question that PF intended to have full custody of the child. He would have it now, if he had not been arrested for the murder of her mother. IMO
Yes, custody issues can be incredibly emotional. We already know PF had a temper.
I think he would have seen Kelseys purchase of the Townhouse a threat to his chances of having custody. He may have tried to appease her and go along with their plans to marry for while, but it must have been pretty soon after that when he made his decision to get rid of her. Imo

Ahh, I did not know he drove over to pick up the little girl....a simple solution, was for the adults to meet half way! Still thee is more to the story.
I don't think we know for sure that he picked up the baby every morning. The neighbor said the truck was there often, but we don't know what the arrangements were day to day. Imo

For his part, Kelsey was probably useful to him/his ego. And it was too much effort to break up, easier to keep her at a distance.

For her part, I’m sorry to say it, because she loved him.
