Found Deceased CA - Brooke Harris, 49, El Dorado Hills, El Dorado County, 14 Feb 2019

So if those timings are correct above (just a few hours after phone call to husband she’s then reported missing ) ... so say she said she was going to do something awful to herself .... how come the police report to Facebook was a good few days later and not immediately?

Sorry I’m in UK and sometimes can’t read the links posted because of country
That’s correct.... 12:57 pmwas the call reporting her missing on 2/14... sheriff didn’t get the public involved via FB until 2/17.

Also, The sherriff FB update states BH called her husband the morning of 2/14. It doesn’t state if they talked or not when she called.

As PP suggested ..... What if he came home from lunch and then reported her missing? Seems very premature to report a person missing... Im married and I have imagined myself in this situation ..... I wouldn’t make a missing persons report for at least 12 + hours without being able to reach my husband... there would be at least 20 + out going calls to friends/family/coworkers/hospitals before I got the courage to dial 911 and realize something bad possibly happened. JMO

I completely agree. This to me says that either he had something to do with it OR he knew that she was going to hurt herself. Either the call, maybe he found something on her phone that was left out? Either way I get the feeling that she let him know she was going to hurt herself and he felt he had to report it as soon as he returned and she was gone

She was reported missing at 12:57 then seen leaving the casino at 430 pm and then supposedly drove to a church parking lot and died....And nobody reported seeing her car in the parking lot for 1 week? It wasn’t consealed or hidden.... most Churches in this area have events/youth groups etc. nightly not just sunday services.

Absolutely. If in fact she had been in her car in that parking lot since Valentine’s Day, it’s difficult to believe that nobody noticed for a week. If they had events during the week someone would’ve noticed, and even if they didn’t, nobody notices her in the car on Sunday? It took an entire week? That’s very strange. I wonder how long she was actually in the parking lot.

Right! It doesn’t sit right when the sheriff logs don’t align with the fb timeline posted by the same agency.... also... how is she found unresponsive in her vehicle at 10:01 am however her brother was still unaware via his own FB update at 9 pm the same day? Then he posted again she was deceased at 11 pm! These Times are estimates but within reason I don’t have the exact timeline with me currently ...

This is my question, too...

I am thinking she must have not been at THAT church parking lot for more than 24 hours...(that even sounds like a long time to me)...
As most churches have weekday activities throughout the week...

Was her car in a concealed place at the church parking lot?

Do we even know which church it was?

I just remember reading that it was "a local church"...

That would mean she would have needed to be either driving continuously (unlikely)...
Or staying somewhere else for approx. 5 days...

Perhaps she had been at a h/motel?

???

ALL JMO...

Nothing is known... however, the autopsy report will be able to determine an approx death date within hours based on the contents in her stomach and stage of decomposition . I’ll wait for that before I go down bunny trails because it’s based on medical facts.

Also the location of the church is unknown, only the name of the city where the church located is revealed on the sheriff call log. Placerville which is basically EDH area.

Found Deceased - KS - Randy Potter, 53, Lenexa, 17 Jan 2017

One example of what can happen in parking lots—even ones that are frequented constantly.

OT...In the city I am in, a couple was staying at a hotel here, in town for a convention, I think. The woman disappeared in the rental vehicle. She was found about a week later inside the vehicle, she had killed herself, and had been parked in same spot the whole time, even had two parking tickets.
I had driven the area at the time on the off chance of spotting the vehicle, came within a few blocks, though it was inside a lot owned by the college and I would not have had access.

No one looked inside vehicle when ticketing, apparently...

Exactly, The church parking lot could be the death sceen not necessarily the crime scene/first location BH was in post casino.

I guess I am thinking of all the church lots we have in my city--most are not that large, and it would be super obvious that a car had been sitting in them for days at a time. While I agree the examples above about a truck sitting for 8 months at an airport or a car being ticketed in a college lot and not being noticed are incredible, I think it is easier to write those things off. The lot with the truck sounds like it was short/long-term parking. So I bet no one bats an eye at a vehicle sitting there for a long time. Plus lots of cars and trucks there at any given time IMO. It's alarming the ticketer never noticed a person in the car they were ticketing in the college lot, but besides that, I can also see many cars being in a lot like that, perhaps not moving. MOO

But in a church lot that is probably private and just for that church, it seems odd no one noticed. It leads me to think maybe she wasn't there the whole time. Did she have cash on her that she could have paid for a motel room with, maybe deciding what she wanted to do? Maybe if/when she decided to commit suicide, she chose a place like a church lot so that she WOULD be found sooner rather than later and her family could get closure? All just my theorizing. I do wonder if something alarmed her husband when he might have come home for lunch on 2/14. Was there a note left that has not been made public?

Wow, how could anyone miss an unresponsive body in a car, twice?

Bizarre, that she went through all the trouble to get her nursing license reinstated, only to possibly self harm a week later?

The phone call to her husband that morning, then her leaving her cell phone behind, driving to the casino parking lot, then ending up in a church parking lot. If she self harmed, it's possible she chose a church parking lot, perhaps for some spiritual reason.

I need to know how she died before I can say one way or another if there was anything suspicious about it. Did she have a gun with her? Overdose? Carbon Monoxide poisoning? Was her car empty of gas?

RSBM

Green Valley Community Church appears to have a huge parking area that surrounds the building(s).

Though I agree it's odd that no one noticed the car if it was indeed parked there the entire time.

So very sad...

Idk the church location yet, I’m sure it will be revealed on fb or the local news... churches vary in size in the area so there is no way to tell right now how obvious her location was to the public . I have not heard about any note left behind, and she could have possibly won a few hundred $ cash at the casino to be able to help her get by a few days without being tracked via credit card purchases... JMO also, if her intent was suicide since the AM....it’s odd she would leave her phone behind and not her purse or anything else. Also, her husband never publicly pleaded on the news or FB for her return, nothing.

I agree about some things being odd...

FWIW, I found Green Valley Community Church named as the location in recent comments on ED County Sheriff's Office updated FB page.

If she was located at the green valley community church, it’s 5.3 miles/8 minute drive from the casino on the same side of the khighway... seems reasonable that she drove straight there after the casino, what’s puzzling is the search efforts via helicopter, etc. never spotted her vehicle so close to her last seen alive location. Also I just went on the church website and they have activities, support classes, service throughout the week and every day/night something is happening at the church.
