Last weeka young female teen aged BHS student was directed to the Boulder
High School auditorium to hear a sex ed live lecture.

One of a number of 'sexual' topics discussed, was how to 'maintain an erection while using a condom'.

The parent who stepped forward and voiced a MAJOR problem with
this topic of education was, Pricilla White, it was her daughter that attended this informative scholarly
program.

Lets see highschool is 13 years to 17, possibly 18. Yes, I can see why they would need to attend this class - lets just throw their childhood right out the window - who needs it anyway and we really want them to enjoy themselves - even if they are not thinking about that. Not to mention embarrassing pretty much every student that shows up - I don't care how cool they PRETEND they are.

Well, the person who complained was the wife of Fleet White.
The school has apologized to the White family.

I don't know what the procedure is these days for keeping your
youngster/teen out of such a lecture. It would seem that IF
the school has apologized for accidentally admitting the young
girl into the lecture, that the parents had most likely signed
a piece of paper to keep their child from attending.

Their daughter would be approximately the same age as JonBenet would
have been IF she had lived.

Do take the time to listen to the broadcast to get the rest of
wierd Boulder School Districts actions on the Italian sauce.

The connection about the Italian sauce is that the Boulder High School has
purchased this sauce in institutional size quantities of a 88 year old authentic Italian
sauce made by a small local restaurant for nearly 90 years.* Third generation Colorado
family. The recipe was an original recipe made by one of the grandmas in the family. It is sold in Costco under restaurant name, 'Blue Parrot.'

A man from the east coast who has the same last name as a well known Mafia
family, took umbrage at the name of the Restaurants sandwich which uses THIS
sauce on their special sausage burger, called the WOP.* It has been called the WOP
sandwich for nearly* 90 years.

This man has hired an attorney and is 'requested the family change the name of their
sandwich, er ?!?!$?!?

BECAUSE of this BHS,* is NOW NOT going to purchase the sauce anymore.

I relate this because it further indicates the twisted sense of values that seem to rise*
from folks 'in charge of general stuff' in Boulder.

The title of this thread is Boulder Colorado News.

I for one am most proud of the White family,* and their stand on the dumbheaded
presentation of the sexcapade and drug instruction approved of by the Boulder High
School.

I learned something today about what the definition of WOP is.* When immigrants
came to Ellis Island, they were stamped WOP, meaning 'without papers'.

There was not one prestigious panel member, that advocated abstinance in matters of drugs and sex.


This dear girl and JonBenet were playmates.

I am curious if any of our posters here who live in other areas of our America, and who have High School age children, with school boards as flaky as Boulder, Colorado.

I agree that the forum was biased if abstinence was not presented.But again I fail to find Boulder alone in these discussions. It should be parental consent based. They had these discussions baci when my kids were in school The 80's!!

went so far as to say, that some of you here today are religious, and
you have been told wrongly. Oh my how astute!!

I prefer to focus this particular thread on the fact that the Whites daughter
has had a great family to bring her up to be outspoken about something that is so
obviously wrong. EVEN the school board wasn't paying attention to this particular
tribe of people on the panel, and EXACTLY what their focus was.

The board has now finished their exercise in looking backward, and recognizing their
mistake.

The R's continued to play peek a boo, with truth.

No wonder the Whites became non friends so soon after the murder of the R's daughter.

of people with zero morals, or values. The meaning of life to them
appears to be just do whatever. No thought of consequences.

Parents working, children coming home to an empty house with a
door key to get in.

Another deserved Black Eye for Boulder authority figures.

Youngsters teaching youngsters, while the adults look the other way.

I would like to know where this panel 'performs' next.

Oh my....I don't even know where to START with that one...I will say this.It's not in terms of religion for everyone,seeing as everyone isn't religious.IT's ABOUT self-respect,not letting others USE you,not ruining your body w/ drugs and risking diseases AND YOUR VERY LIFE,keeping yourself healthy and your brain and body clear so you can LEARN,not just be in class,and get a decent job so you can get ahead,contribute to society,feel good about yourself,etc. ..I could go on.

Camper, I read the article. As a parent...repulsive situation.

My hat is off (no pun intended) to Daphne White. I work in abstinence education in public schools and while I won't get into a tirade here, believe me when I say that many would be appalled at what their kids are being taught under the guise of sex ed. It is a real tragedy for our children.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
