I’m sorry if this has been answered before: how many children does BB have? Are they all in her care? I’ve seen references to a 1 year old, a 2 year old, a 4 year old and a 5 year old and I’m getting confused.

BB and Craig have Maleah4 and an older son5. BB and DV have a younger son1 almost 2 so that's where the confusion is. Some people are saying he's 1 and some are saying 2. Between the three people they have three kids.

That's been disputed. All 3 children were removed last August by CPS. In February they were returned, but some sources are saying they were returned to BB's full-time physical custody (CPS retained legal custody), while other sources report the children were returned to live with relatives while BB had regained monthly or weekly visitation.
Regardless of the official legal arrangements, BB definitely appears to have had the children full-time under her care recently.

Worth noting that DV may have at least one other child based on St. Louis court records; I'll see if I can dig up the link.

If one applies for benefits and states they live alone with kids, they are supposed to live alone with the kids. One also doesn't list a crime scene address as theirs when one " breaks up" with the lease holder, or for any other reason except to avoid the obvious. Most likely doesn't have to; due to not being on the lease either.

Would sure like to know what his actual connection to the listed address and/or the people living in it is, then.

So the mother thought it was odd that the apartment was being cleaned with bleach. This is whilst she was away. I know these people don't appear to be sharpest tools in the box but the odds of her not putting 2 and 2 together that 1. her daughter is missing 2. the apartment was oddly cleaned up? She knew.

We could work on figuring out who sold the gas can. It looks like someone wrote part of the price on the price tag. That makes me think of a smaller hardware store vs a big box chain store. JMO

There was a small audience, maybe around a dozen people. Hard to tell if anyone was anyone we've heard of -- definitely did not recognize anyone from BB's side of the family. There was one guy in the front row who made some odd gestures for a few moments, maybe just to indicate he couldn't hear? But I am not sure what he was doing.

Im a Lurker but in regards to the guy making hand signals, I actually took this as him asking to leave the room as he didnt want to hear what was being said, Quite a few of them looked uncomfortable during the details.

Edit: I dont think any of those are family etc either just others waiting their turn.

• BB and DV had a huge fight over DV sending penis pictures to another man. BB confronted him about being gay and "He was hurt, he was angry, he was upset," said Quanell X “QX”). BB broke off the engagement and told DV she was giving back his ring and was not going to marry him. [100]
• BB flew to MA to attend her father’s funeral service. [11]

• 1:40 p.m. A neighbor’s camera captured DV leaving the apt with his 1-year-old son, a laundry basket, and a black trash bag inside. [38] Three minutes later he came back out with the bleach, and the next time he came out with his two-year-old son.
• Approx 9 p.m. DV was driving a silver 2011 Nissan Altima with TX paper tags 3092G9 to IAH with Maleah and her 2-year-old brother to pick up BB, who was returning from her father's funeral in MA. [1] [2]
• DV heard a popping noise and pulled over when a blue Chevrolet pickup w/crew cab, possibly a 2010, pulled behind him and two Hispanic males got out. One of them said Maleah looks “very nice,” “looks very sweet.” The other male hit DV on the head and he lost consciousness. [2] The Altima was allegedly stolen. [1]
• DV was in and out of consciousness, but at one point he was in the back of the suspects' truck with his son and Maleah and then there were three suspects in the vehicle. [1]
• When DV didn’t show up at the airport, BB called her mother, (“BB2”), to come and get her, but didn’t report DV and the children missing. [2]
• BB did not have her house keys and spent the night with BB2 [11]

• BB told ABC13 they called police Sat a.m. to file a report because they were concerned they had not heard from DV, but detective clearly stated no report was filed [2].
• BB2 explained that on Sat, they went to the PD again when nobody was contacting them and found out they had to fill out more forms, call the missing person’s unit, etc. [11]
• 2:54 p.m. - The Nissan Altima was seen on a traffic camera near Hwy 59 & State Hwy 6 in Sugar Land. [1] [2]
• Approx 6 p.m. DV woke up on the side of the SW Freeway near SH 6 in Sugar Land, about 22 miles SW of Houston - near First Colony Mall. [2] His son was with him and he wandered around for four or five hours trying to summon help. [2]
• 11:21:42 PM – DV and his son were dropped off at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital in the Nissan Altima by an unknown female. [39] Per DV, he and his son walked to the hospital. DV and his son were treated for minor injuries, released, and police were called around midnight. [4] [5]
• Approx Midnight – Police were called to the hospital & MD was reported missing. [9]

• 6:57 a.m. Houston PD issued a press release [9]
• 8:27 a.m. Amber Alert was issued at [9]
• Amber Alert was updated to correct Maleah’s age; she is 4 years old
• 12:18 p.m. Houston PD press conference [9]
• Flyers were distributed and Oyster Creek Park at Hwy 6 and I-59 was searched by volunteers [6]
• Neighbors said investigators were at the family’s apt on Kirkwood in Meadows Place on Sun, collecting evidence and talking to neighbors. [10]

Monday, May 6, 2019

• 10:30 a.m. Texas Equusearch (“TXEQ”) joined the search and requested volunteers on foot and ATV to meet at Eastex Freeway and Greens Road. [7]
• BB was interviewed by ABC13 and said she is terrified for Maleah. [8]
• TXEQ searched on foot and ATV near Hwy 59 & Greens Rd in NE Houston where DV said the assault/abduction took place. Tim Miller (“TM”) said, "We want to start checking every single dumpster just in case." [12] Later, crews were seen searching near First Colony Mall in Sugar Land. [14]
• 6.p.m. Volunteers met in Sugar Land to hand out fliers with Maleah's photo. [13]
• 6:30 p.m. BB and BB2 were interviewed by KHOU [11]
• CPS said Maleah was returned to her home in Feb after she was removed last Aug when allegations of physical abuse were investigated. CPS maintained temporary conservatorship and visited the home at least once a month. BB said it was determined that the injury was caused by a fall. [18]

• TXEQ searched near Hwy 59 and Greens Road, then suspended efforts there and moved to Bissonnet and Kirkwood, near the family’s home at 9850 S. Kirkwood. [15]
• DV was named a person of interest in Maleah’s disappearance. Sugar Land PD (“SLPD”) said he changed his story, first saying he walked to the hospital, then saying someone dropped him off. SLPD is reviewing surveillance cam footage. [16]
• Maleah’s biological father (“CD”) said he is searching the Brazos River for signs of the missing car. [18]
• CD was interviewed for the first time and said he can’t control his emotions and has unanswered questions he needs DV to answer. [19]
• SLPD said the photo of the Nissan came from their license recognition camera close to the Cheesecake Factory near First Colony Mall. [20]

• TXEQ’s search was suspended due to heavy rains and flooding. [21]
• During an emergency hearing, DV and BB were banned from having any contact with any of their children. The court ordered Maleah’s younger half-brother to stay with his paternal grandmother. Maleah’s older brother in now in the custody of his paternal aunt, and if Maleah is found alive, that’s where she would go. [28] [31]
• Police released new photos of the Nissan Altima. [22]
• HPD revisited Maleah's apt. complex [24]
• TM flew over the Brazos River by helicopter looking for the Nissan Altima. [24]
• BB and volunteers handed out flyers in the area of the family’s apt. and asked for more volunteers on Thurs [23] [24]
• TXEQ requested volunteers to search on foot and ATV's in specific areas on Thurs for the Nissan Altima. [25]

• TXEQ’s search shifted to searching very specific areas for the Nissan Altima. [26] BB said she hasn’t spoken with DV in days, he doesn’t return her calls. [27]
• It was reported that Maleah has not been at daycare since April 26. The owner of the daycare said DV picked up his son on Friday but Maleah wasn't with him. [28]
• It was reported that DV hasn’t showed up to work at PharMEDium in a week, per a co-worker. DV was sent home because he was vomiting last week. He was officially “home with the flu” by Friday. This week he isn’t answering calls about absence.
• Approx. 10 a.m. The Nissan Altima was found by a taxi driver in a Missouri City business parking lot along Highway 6 near FM 1092/Murphy Road. LE said the tires looked fine. [29] A laundry basket and gas can was found in the trunk of the vehicle. [38] Police K-9 dogs at the scene reacted to the trunk of the car for human decomp. [41] Google Maps

• BB spoke to CNNValencia and said she no longer believes DV’s story and hasn’t spoken with him since Monday. She also says reports that she was "banned" from seeing her other children is not true. She says her other children are staying with family members [30]
• Volunteers searched Keegan’s Bayou Trail Friday night, a few miles away from the family’s apt. [34]
• Activist Quanell X (“QX”) made a statement on behalf of BB. He stated that DV was seen on a neighbor's security camera with bottles of Clorox and a garbage bag before Maleah was reported missing, that DV carried a laundry hamper with the trash bag inside it from the apt, and that DV and BB had fought on Tues, 4/30 over explicit photos he sent to another man. Per QX, BB told DV she was returning her ring and was not going to marry him. QX also stated that DV would pick up Maleah from the daycare and take her back to the apt and there are indications that DV physically and sexually abused Maleah.

• 2:40 p.m: The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitives Task Force arrested DV at his brother’s home in Sugar Land on charges of evidence tampering. In addition to blood evidence linked to Maleah being found at the apartment, DV was seen carrying a full laundry basket from the apt. and the laundry basket was found in the trunk of the Nissan along with a gas can. • DV’s first court appearance in Harris County Probable Cause Court. A judge set bond at $1 million on the "tampering with evidence, namely a corpse" count, according to jail records. Obviously heart strings get pulled in a case like this. But without a professional, competent defender, these criminals can (and still do) tie up the courts for years and in some cases get off because of bad defense. It creates an excuse. I hope each defendant in this case has the best defense possible so the case is tried properly the first time. Guilty is guilty.

This case is just mind blowing. I agree with all posters who think those scratches are from a trip into the brush/woods.

Re: the cuts on DV

When I went through a brief cutting stage as a teen, I would use a razor blade and make small, scratch-like cuts on myself just like the ones on his torso. They were always either straight up and down or very obviously indicating what ‘handed’ I am.

The photo of his forehead is missing the swelling and dried blood that was evident in the previously posted photo of his "head injury". Wonder when this photo was taken and when the other one was taken. I'd like to see what was documented on his ED record if he was even seen in the ED. Do we even know if he was actually seen, treated, and released? Could he possibly have left prior to being evaluated?

Did anyone get address of where DVwas arrested?

I have heard of cases where evidence has been destroyed by burning in big barrel type trash bins. That is usually only allowed in certain areas, country, possibly trailer parks?

I’ve seen one of DV’s music videos that appears to be mobile home.

Surely leaving would have searched the location he was picked up, (his brothers) for evidence?

We only know through the court records what address he used in Sugarland Texas for his address on his booking sheet. Coincidentally, it may be the same address in the post above this post of yours what you may have missed while you were typing this.

I looked into that and there was one delayed flight (by 1hr4min) landing that night from Charlotte, NC. It landed at 11:10pm. There is a flight on the same route before that one and it landed at 8:38pm.

Btw DV claimed he was near the airport around 9pm when he got 'kidnapped' which would be super early for the delayed flight but great timing for the one before it.

Hope LE checked who actually was on board which plane and not just looked at booking info.
