He must see his "role" here as an adviser and advocate. Advocates, have so much passion for their work. Unfortunately, they usually lack the education and knowledge to equal their passion.
Agreed. I think he's done some good things for the community, his anti-semitism notwithstanding, but he's not a lawyer and lacks the finesse, IMO, to be able to advocate for a person in that situation.
Unless she's not who he's ultimately truly advocating for.
