Hey Everyone,

We all saw this coming but it still rips your heart out. Sweet little Maleah never had a chance with the monster her mother let live with them.

We have been asked to give guidance to this thread as far as what can be discussed.

If you new here then please note you can discuss what is being reported on in the mainstream media. Also, discuss what Maleah's mom has stated, and you can offer your opinion as to what happened to Maleah but you cannot randomly accuse family members, neighbors, or anyone who has not been named as a person of interest. Maleah's step-father is the only person of interest so far. However, Maleah's mom is under the media spotlight because we all want to know what she knew about or if she knew about what was going on with her husband and her daughter. You can certainly speculate on what the mother knew but please do not go crazy with unfounded accusations against the mom until we know more.

Thank you,
Tricia

Hope this helps

Timeline - Update #8

July 10, 2018 BB took Maleah to the ER because she was throwing up blood. Doctors reported Maleah was "extremely lethargic." Maleah was treated and released. [35]

July 28, 2018 BB contacted BB2, who was in LA, and stated that Maleah had fallen from a tall chair to a marble table. BB2 advised BB to take Maleah to the hospital. At the hospital, Maleah was observed with a laceration to the forehead. BB denied vomiting or abnormal behavior from Maleah. She also denied seizures or lethargy in the medical record. Maleah's forehead laceration was repaired. No imaging studies were reported as completed. The surgical pathology report revealed a chronic subdural hematoma displaying a prominent fibroblastic proliferation with collagen deposition, numerous small vessels, many hemosiderin-laden macrophages, and acute hemorrhage. [35]

August 1, 2018 BB2 was at work and Maleah was in the care of BB and DV, who lived in the home. BB texted BB2 that something was wrong with Maleah and that her eyes were rolling back. BB2 told BB to take Maleah to the hospital. BB2 did acknowledge that BB had to be told to take Maleah to the hospital. BB took Maleah to the hospital and she was transported to a different hospital where she had a craniectomy to relieve pressure. [35]

Medical professionals stated that the story BB and BB2 told about Maleah falling from a chair would not have caused the serious internal injuries which required half of Maleah's skull to be removed. Doctors ordered that she wear a helmet for 12-24 months while she healed. [35]

August 3, 2018 The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) received a report alleging physical abuse and neglectful supervision. [35]

August 10, 2018 It was determined that the findings of two separate injuries (frontal laceration and a second fracture to the left posterior temporal bone) indicate more than one impact to Maleah's head. [35]

August 14, 2018 The DFPS obtained TMC (temporary managing conservatorship) of all children due to concern about the safety and care of the three children in the home. [35]

MOO: I think they’re letting the person who is doing the most talking keep talking until they say enough things that are demonstrably false to move the case further along.

Also MOO: BB’s reason for their breakup (which, based on an engagement type ring being seen in early interviews, was later than she said) is one that would erode support for DV very quickly.

Victoria17 said earlier that it appears we are only seeing parts of the screenshot. Maybe this part of the video has more in it.....
I'm wide open to that possibility. I would just like to know which is correct - the article or my ears, lol! When all else fails, ask the author... :p

@leighEg,

When I listened to Nancy's podcast in the article below, at the 39:52 mark I heard Tim say, "It is confirmed that she was out of town but the thing that's kind of strange also, supposedly the children were taken to daycare that morning but then, Maleah, uh apparently he brought her back..."

Your article reads, “Supposedly the children were taken to daycare that morning, but then Maleah… apparently she (Bowens) brought her back..."

Are you able to confirm with Tim Miller that he meant/said Brittany Bowens brought Maleah back to the apartment? I want to be 100% sure which is accurate.

Justice for Maleah Davis: Did mom lie about being in apartment with missing girl before she left for airport?

Thank you! :)

August 21, 2018 ORDER SETTING HEARING AND APPOINTMENT OF GUARDIAN/ATTORNEY AD LITEM [51]

September 12, 2018 TEMPORARY ORDER FOLLOWING ADVERSARY HEARING [51]

February 7, 2019 ORDER GRANTING MOTION FOR MONITORED RETURN OF CHILDREN TO PARENT, BB [35]

February 18, 2019 Maleah and her brother were returned to the home. Permanency hearing scheduled for May 22, 2019. [51]

March 19, 2019 Maleah had brain surgery to repair the flap for her injury. [36] [See flyer for date]

PM- thanks so much for this! I've gone to it several times today to refresh my memory.... :)

It is all possible. Some have suggested it may have happened this way. It's a hard story to get behind but possible. I could argue it but I'm not sold on any one theory, even my own.
FYI:It has now been said openly that BB left an hour to an hour and a half after Maleah came back with DV and video shows DV leaving an hour after bringing Maleah home.
The flight time has not been released (by the MSM)
My opinion

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. And thanks for mentioning that the time she left has been on msm. I wasn't sure and didn't want to put my foot in my mouth. I'm curious about her flight time and if she left at a reasonable time for it. Meaning why leave in the a.m. if her flight time was in the afternoon? IF it was in the afternoon.

TM just confirmed what we have said all along. BB is lying about not seeing Maleah before she was picked up, as TM said an hour and a half after DV brought her home shortly before 8 am.

Excellent. <modsnip> I’m glad he said that and we can actually discuss it here officially now.

Quanell X says..."She did not know he was bringing Maleah back home when she should have been in daycare.”

"I was always home. Always home. I didn't start working until January, because I was in school and I only went to school a couple days out of the week,” Bowens answers.

Uhhhh...I feel like these two statements (given in the same interview, linked below) completely contradict each other? Anyone else?
