I agree but it isn't that simple if the mother has no support system. I think the maternal instinct becomes so battered and fearful they are incapable of protecting their children and they are clueless how to get help. One huge lesson we learned the hard way has been the ineffectiveness of Child Protective Services if the call is from a grandparent. Waste of time contacting them, imo. LE was very effective and still is vigilent. Protection Order is still in place two years later and for that, we are very grateful.

I suspect you’re right.

Rocks were painted this past weekend to ultimately end up around the tree which will be planted for him. My friends went but I was out of town. I’m hoping they will broadcast or cover the tree planting for everyone in the thread to see the tree when it’s planted and beautiful rocks which were painted.

Unfortunately, her loving support system didn't live in Corona. A common tactic abusers use to drive a wedge between their partners and their support system is by insisting they move to another city. Pretty soon the woman becomes so battered and threatened she feels helpless but also ashamed and she doesn't want her family to know.

My heart goes out to this family. Yet again, the CPS system has failed.

Both Bryce and Jillian remain in jail. Bryce’s next court date is 6/14 and Jill’s is in August. I haven’t seen anything about the ruling re: releasing Noah’s home’s CPS records.

I haven’t seen anything major while we wait for the trials to start, but I do still check the inmate search periodically. It doesn’t seem like Bryce has been back in the hospital since the original visit - it must have been a one-off health issue as opposed to a chronic medical condition.
 
Noah, his sister and their mom lived with the grandparents for 8 years. The grandfather said in an earlier article “since his birth”. Noah was born with his bladder outside his body and other birth defects.

And out of the blue the sperm donor convinces the mom to let the children stay with him? Why not just let him come and see them where you live? With your family in a safe environment? When he hasn’t been around for 8 years - hell no. Especially with Noah’s medical issues.

Corona only appears to be 20-25 miles/minutes from Anaheim.

I know exactly where both places are as I've lived around them both and have lots of family in these areas too. You are so correct! Let the kids stay put and dad can come visit.....it's not that far.....under an hour.

I imagine now that mom is sitting in jail facing charges herself that she wishes she had done exactly that.

And so do we. :(

Thinking of Noah today, and every day.
