Maybe in my case not having my adult children's consent for the life insurance policies I have on them is because when I first got the policies, they were both minors 10 years ago, and have since become adults. I just keep paying and no one has ever checked it, or at least said anything to me about it...
Exactly. They were minors, no consent necessary. No worries! No one will say anything to you about it. People who intend to off their children for life insurance proceeds don’t take out the policies when the children are minors and continue to pay for 10 plus years! Talk about what a long term (and expensive) strategy that would be! :)

@afitzy if you linked to a public document that is fine as far as I know - we’ve linked to a lot of court docs in many cases here on WS - plus MSM has reported on the pleadings filed as well
Its public but the documents aren't available electronically (I'm working off a copy from the file) so the circumstances are a bit different from normal I think. The press haven't put this particular document into the public domain yet. I'm uncomfortable putting the document up on WS/making it public in its entirety and would just prefer to delete the post and wait for MSM to catch up. Even with some of the documents sealed there is alot of personal information in unredacted form that I personally feel uncomfortable putting on the internet. If someone else at a later date wants to pull the document and bring it in then that is an option but I'm uncomfortable doing this as it relates to a case with children that will be reading about this years from now as they try to understand what happened to their mother. I shouldn't have made the OP if I didn't want to post the documents so my bad and I apologize.

I’ve been thinking about this divorce litigation and IMO it’s really over the top contentious - which seems to me that there was no hope of a marital settlement agreement which would end the litigation- why? Because one side wanted something the other would not yield on- so money, property, custody, etc? In reviewing the many pleadings IMO he stalled on providing financial information and the latest filings seem to indicate he perhaps couldn’t stall any longer - he may have decided to put an end to the litigation and thought he would get away with it. I think they will find her soon and like many of you believe the gf will turn on him for her child’s sake - all MOO

The source of the original post was from court documents which I cannot figure out if I'm allowed to post or not. I'd prefer to not post these court documents on WS so if you want we can ask the admin to remove my OP. I'm fine with removing the post. MSM hasn't reported this exact portion of the documents so far as I know.

Here you go -- sure wish we could pin this!! Adding to the media thread as well. :)

A missing Connecticut mom of five lived in fear of her “volatile” estranged husband, court papers revealed Wednesday — as cops said they were investigating if “foul play” led to her disappearance.

Jennifer Dulos — who hasn’t been seen since Friday— sued husband Fotis Dulos for divorce nearly two years ago in a bitter case that has yet to be settled.

As part of her suit, she alleged that Fotis, a custom-home builder, cheated on her and wanted to move his “paramour” and her 10-year-old daughter into their 15,000-square-foot brick Colonial mansion in Farmington, Conn.

Instead, she said, she rented a home in New Canaan for her and their kids, three boys and two girls who range in age from 8 to 13 and include two sets of twins.

there are times when WS will pay for docs but if minors are involved we are very careful so I think caution is in order - I didn’t see your post but you may have time to edit it - we always try to protect the children in my experience here - good call IMO

I don't really know how the family income worked. It seemed he had an unsuccessful/failing business that had been funded by her family. Aside from her family money what other income did they have? If they were divorced and she got primary custody it doesn't seem like he would have receive any money from her.

Missing woman’s husband arrested; police descend on 2nd Farmington property

June 2, 2019

FOX61 has exclusive drone footage of the 10,100 sq. ft. home as the search continued. The home sits on five acres of land and is listed at just under three million dollars.

FOX61 talked with a neighbor in the area who was shocked by the whole thing. She called Fotis a friend and mentioned he planned to renovate the rest of the neighborhood.

Just two miles away police continued their multi-day search of Fotis’ Farmington home. Multiple cruisers and patrols could be seen entering and exiting the property along Jefferson crossing.

Both are being held on $500,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on June 3.

New Canaan and State Police have not made any more arrests or charges in connection to Jennifer’s disappearance.

On Friday, FOX61 obtained this exclusive footage of fotis being escorted off the property to give hair and DNA samples. A buccal swab of DNA from Dulos’ cheek was taken, as well has a hair sample, the source told FOX61. We’re told an attorney was present during the procedure and no questioning took place.

Police have obtained warrants for body and location searches. The number of and the locations of those warrants have not been released.

The issue he has right now is that he cleaned up blood. That's why they arrested him for tampering with evidence. Circumstantial, but pretty compelling that he killed her. I agree that LE wants hubby and they will put the pressure on the girlfriend, and she will spill it all. I think she's smart though and is negotiating a deal. I'm surprised the two of them didn't realize that blood leaves residue. Even if not visible and cleaned with bleach. That's a big mistake. So, clearly their plan wasn't perfect which should encourage the girlfriend to talk even more.

I think he ran a mini pyramid scheme with the houses He built and the funding from his father in law - and without full financial disclosure a temporary alimony and child support order does not appear to have been entered which is unusual but she didn’t need his money he needed hers based on what I’ve read - so he never filed full financials and couldn’t get at her money without that from what I’ve read IMO

If you're talking about clean up of blood at JD's house, that almost certainly happened as part of the crime itself. Killers frequently try to clean up afterwards, but they aren't charged with tampering with evidence, in addition to the underlying homicide. It's really only when a criminal investigation has started and you then tamper with things that a tampering charge is made. JMO.

Very sad - how do you leave a loved one in the elements without a proper burial ? We see it over and over again
If you can kill a loved one in the first place, where you dispose of their body doesn’t matter to you.

We saw that in the Watts case, when he put his daughter’s bodies in oil tanks, and buried his wife in a shallow grave.
