If he put tarps down in that huge 4 stall garage - and then had garbage bags laid out ready - I guess that could happen but I would think they would have done luminol first thing - it's secluded - and on a lot of acres - he could have done this in the woods? if he did do it. horrific. it's astounding to think that a person can go to such lengths to harm a woman that carried 5 KIDS, that are your OWN flesh in blood, in her body, and now you desecrate that body in such a manner.

this might turn out to be one of the most chilling cases i've read about in a long while. (and that's saying a lot!)

No. I think LE would only worry why I was so intent on shopping for shoes, haircare products, teeth whitening strips, and a specific brand of hot sauce if I was disposing of a body
 
JD's parents were guarantors for the house, so wouldn't that mean her mom would be paying for it? Or did I misunderstand?

thanks for the link- I'm not seeing any of the notes to Mr. Hilliard being attached to any lien or mortgage on the homes. No security
other than the promissory note.
But WOW, Mr. Hilliard was a generous FIL, gave FD unsecured
loans to buy real property w/ generous payback stipulations
and at only 3% interest. then when homes didn't sell, Mr. H. allowed much flexibility to FD.
Based on another lawsuit against FD, it seems he has a habit
of fighting and stretching legal filings out to frustate the plaintiffs.
He also is not a negotiator, his way or the highway. No wonder
he is almost out of business. His deal with his FIL was a
sweetheart deal. FD should be a multi-multi millionaire by now
and sitting on easy street. But he refuses to compromise and make co-operative deals with clients. Hard nosed businessman.
He's out to fight the world. In every single transaction that I've
seen.

Yes, I see in one of the cases the filing is over a promissory note that was due to be paid July 1, 2017. She filed in July 2017 and moved in June 2017 - I wonder if she knew about this note becoming due and about all of the loans her dad was making going back many years. It seems he was the funding source for the Fore Group IMO.

It may be smart to have her out if she’s not talking. She has GPS and I bet a tail. She may lead them to the body trying to cover her tracks. JMO

The home is for sale on an active listing, right? I don’t think they would take the risk of a potential homebuyer pulling into the driveway to take a peek through the windows. moo

But nothing is off the table with this pair.

Maybe the 2 hour visit to this spec home was to show it to a potential buyer? idk

Also, who was home with the 10 yo daughter of MT while they went to Hartford?

I am not sure it is an active listing and those houses generally are by appointment IMO. I think MT had a nanny IIRC
 
Maybe his cellphone records don't show anything meaningful about his whereabouts in the morning. Why would he turn it off while he was in New Canaan and then turned it back on while he was disposing of evidence in Hartford? Could he be that stupid?

plus when mother in law started settlement of husband's estate
she was name in husband's will as c0-executor along with an
independent atty (named) in will. I'm sure this atty. decided to pursue the loans which were in default at this time.
Also during this time, Mrs. F. and this atty. were setting up a new
trust for putting assets into. FD even fought this and dragged out
her right to set up a new trust.

FD was a fight cat. No wonder his former partners left. He was
a one man show. And in his type business, it really helps to have
a co-0perative nature. Working WITH others is an asset.

MT’s daughter had a nanny also. IDK if the nanny was live-in, but it was the nanny who took MT’s daughter, with an overnite bag, away from the Jefferson Crossing home when LE arrived and then escorted MT & FD to PD for questioning.

IMO, LE told them all that they would be doing a search of the house & could not return.

After being questioned, MT & FD were released and went to the Marriott in Avon.
 
JD seemed to have been fairly concerned for her safety wrt FD but, unfortunately, not enough. In Connecticut, she would have been able to carry and they have a castle document so she would have been free to protect herself on her property. She didn't have a restraining order though, (probably should have). Is the house she was living in one of the Fore houses that was for sale? (she probably should have been staying in a house that had absolutely nothing to do with FD). I just can't help regretting that she didn't have better safety in place. Seems like she knew she should have.

That may be the note connected to the jointly owned home on
Jefferson Crosssing. the agreement was that JD and FD would make monthly payments on the home for 5 yrs. and then a balloon payment was due. But when JD moved out, FD stopped making
the monthly payments. Thus MIL called note in default.
