New Canaan Police are looking for a missing woman Saturday, May 25.

Jennifer Dulos, 50, was reported missing around 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 24. A sliver alert has been issued.

New Canaan Police with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police initiated a search and an investigation both of which are ongoing as of 8:45 am. Saturday..

Anyone with information related to Dulos’s whereabouts should contact Sgt. Joseph Farenga at 203-505-1332.

Missing Connecticut Mom's Estranged Husband, Girlfriend Appear Before Judge; Search Continues For Jennifer Dulos
CBS2’s Tony Aiello was in the courthouse on Monday and offered specific details about the intense investigation that is underway. Fotis Dulos and Troconis are charged with tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice. Police tracked Fotis Dulos’ cellphone and based on that uncovered surveillance video, which allegedly shows him leaving various items around Hartford, Conn., in trash containers. Those items were then analyzed by police and tested positive for Jennifer Dulos’ blood, Aiello reported.

Fotis Dulos and Troconis are also accused of obfuscating the lettering on a license plate, perhaps so they wouldn’t be tracked as they drove around, Aiello reported.

On Sunday night, another vigil was held for Jennifer Dulos at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in New Canaan.

She was in the midst of a bitter divorce and custody battle with her estranged husband when she went missing on May 24. Police believe she was last seen dropping off her five kids at New Canaan Country School that morning. Later that night, they found her empty car near Waveny Park.

One another note: case was transferred to Stamford, which is typical for more serious crimes. If Fotis Dulos doesn’t post bond today, he will have to do so at the courthouse in Stamford and there must be a bond hearing there beforehand. @News12CT

Looks like Fotis Dulos will be arraigned first as his attorney Eugene Riccio is at the defense table. Riccio is no stranger to high profile cases he represented Kyle Navin, the Easton man convicted of killing his parents.

Then what did he do for two hours the afternoon at 80 Mt. Spring Road that we have been hypothesizing that he was disposing of her body? If it is being suggested that she/he were down in NC at 5 am the next morning, why has LE been going through garbage up in Hartford this week?

It’s a weird term. It was used in the court documents so I’m guessing that’s why people continue to use it.

Per several news outlets (sorry, have read so many, can't pull up which one), FD himself referred to MT when speaking to JD, and used that term. Merriam-Webster says it is a "lover". "Specifically : an illicit or secret lover..."

Using that term sounds "foreign" and "exotic" -- and -- of the 5 children old enough to perhaps search for the meaning -- FD may have thought that it would be more difficult for young ears to guess its spelling than, say, the term "mistress". Still -- it was a direct "hit" on JD's heart. An intentionally painful hit, surpassed only by FD's wanting MT to co-habit the family residence. No wonder Jennifer left with the children. MOO

We left off with the loud banging at 5am at the spec property - Saturday morning at 5am - so what was he doing ? He disposed of evidence in garbage bags the Friday evening of her disappearance - and spent 2 hours at one spec property Friday afternoon according to the warrant - why the banging ? What was he doing ?

Nothing lately - and that’s why he’s in financial trouble as far as I can tell his FIL put up the money to buy them and then was paid back when they sold - until he stopped doing that - court records tell the story links are in her dedicated media thread

Are these the only properties he has developed / sold?

What were the other properties like and are any of them EMPTY right now?

Did he make fake “sales” to others in the business and portray them as valid transactions to his FIL?

Speculation only: Maybe he was cleaning up, e.g., showering, shaving his head, bagging bloodstained items, etc. at the Mt. Spring address? He may have initially driven home, then realized he didn't want to risk leaving any blood traces in his own house and made a quick decision to head over to one of the other vacant properties for cleanup activities.

Or maybe he was establishing part of his alibi, i.e, planning to tell LE when questioned that he was over inspecting one of his business properties or working on it that day.

I dunno.

We're all most likely going to find out at some point, though, courtesy of MT's cozy coffee klatches with the DA.

I’m seriously wondering what’s up with MT’s baby daddy. Did he come back from Argentina to take care of their daughter... IMO he should. I get the whole not taking her out of school thing but living in a hotel with your mom who’s out on bail is really not the most healthy option.

LE has been going through the garbage in Hartford, because that is where they dumped evidence in those 30 locations.

Some of it was picked up, and transported to that incinerator plant.

The implication is that in the hours following the evidence disposal, he returned to his property and did something that involved “loud banging.”

He must have been a tired boy at that point.

that's why I say he's living on stimulants.

Wouldn't be easier to put a body in a couple of trash bags and drop her in the river than building a metal box that has to be nearly 6 feet long? How would you ever lift that and put it in a truck and then where would you take it?
