But it is only 2 guys now. How much do they need to set up?
I know when I attended, the set up for Law and Crime wasn't more than a few mins.
MOO
But it is only 2 guys now. How much do they need to set up?
BBM: As was the Steven Avery trial.
How is this different than the Staircase about the Michael Peterson trial. I’m not debating his guilt or innocence but the documentary was incredible to watch.
I think it’s exactly what you said it was . TY for passing on that info .Do you think that's part of the delay? I can't imagine the judge or jury would care about the documentary team's needs but ya never know.
Never ever.Has anyone who follows trials ever heard of a judge delaying a verdict reading for longer than a few hours? I don't usually follow trials so I'm not sure if this is ever an issue.
The defense lawyers didn't profit at the time they were filming the documentary though, and I'm not even sure this defense team has, I know the prosecution has implied it, but I have seen no proof of that. The only profit the Avery/Dassey lawyers have made has been since the documentary was released and it's not directly from the documentary makers, it's been from speaking engagements since.... the documentary was also released 10 years after the verdict. I hope that McGee and Maline aren't holding out for 10 years for any sort of payment or recognition LOL
Someone is making a documentary in this case, no one has said if a network or anyone has even picked it up, maybe it will turn out to be poo and no one buys it or picks it up to show?
What time will the verdict be read on Monday?
10am PTWhat time will the verdict be read on Monday?
So that would be 1:00 pm ET right?
LOL it's like you have been here since January...Correct. Assuming it happens on schedule.
I vaguely remember in the OJ trial, that the verdict wasn't announced until the next day. But I think that was for the police to get ready, in the event of another riot in L.A.Never ever.
Yet another odd way this trial has been different.
Vagos

#McStay- Part of the defense's response says they shouldn't be held in contempt because there was no court order prohibiting contact with jurors.
6:20 PM - 6 Jun 2019 pst
Well. Damn.BREAKING: The jury has reached a VERDICT in CA v #CharlesMerritt. However, it won't be read until Monday morning.
