JMO - I wonder if they have video of MT handling any of the garbage bags. I have only seen it referenced that she was recorded leaning out of the truck, smoking and possibly picking something up or dropping something. If she never handled the bags, could it be possible she didn’t actually know what was in them? I know this is a stretch - but I am reeling at the thought of driving down Albany avenue on a Friday night, in daylight, with a truck bed full of body parts or at the very least, crime scene clean-up. MOO
IMO, NO. She is complicit.

I was just over there. Pretty quiet. About 10 cars inside the fence. Less than a handful that are obviously police vehicles. A big black trailer. Not sure if it’s for crime scene evidence or not. And one news truck outside fenced in area just waiting all the while I was there which was about 20 minutes. I parked a little ways up the road after my first and only drive by to get a look at vehicles in fenced in area.
Dude, I just drove by a little while ago too! I didn't see anything, but I honestly didn't know where to look. o_O

In reference to the Fore Group website posted on HOUZZ that lists the 20 properties:
I am really bothered by the 10 year gap in properties listed, between Oct 2005 and 2015.

. . . .

. . . .

I wonder who "John Corbett" really is. My suspicion is that both of those early homes were some sort of sham sale to a fictitous person or someone who was part of the scheme to get Hilliard Faber to "loan" those $millions to Fore Group.

Then the next is the Faber family's personal guest cottage. Then a huge gap.

What was Fore Group doing then? No sales mentioned in the website. What was going on? Was Faber happily now "loaning" more money to FD?

I suspect a hustle and $$$ missing. The Filings on May 3 and May 29 were demanding verified financial records on FD and Fore Group. Sounds like the scam was about to be totally exposed

Great questions, flags, and issue spotting @Herat

One obvious midway gap (cash) filler could be the very tragic (asset depletion) and financial bump from a life insurance policy claim payout upon KD’s tragic demise from non suspicious natural causes old age trip and fall internal bleeding medmel but FD’s not pointing fingers at anyone and for sure KD wanted for the nanny to know that it wasn’t the nanny’s fault.

So maybe FD travels a lot to Italy and/or Greece to source custom marble, tile, murals, frescos, furnishing for his high end homes and high end buyers or to attend to his mother’s non existent business affairs, accounts, holdings, life insurance and business insurance policies, money stashing/offshoring, shell gaming, buyer trolling I mean sales and marketing development (Nigerian lawyers, anyone?), sunbathing, chemical acquisition, playboying.

Maybe now that Fmr. Special Counsel Robert Mueller has retired, perhaps he could recommend a good team to investigate overseas leads? His folks must have learned an awful lot among the extensive foreign shell corp and money laundering and Ponzi scheme investigations over the last several years (and then some).

I wonder how many times the same house or property was remortgaged or secured additional equity for builders advance on properties already possessed of substantial equity submersion?

After all, he’s a handsome and successful well connected businessman with great academic and career credentials, a beautiful successful wife and family, and wonderful supremely esteemed in-laws. What more of a pedigree does one need?

I'm still convinced they're trying to collect as much as possible from the MIRA site before filing.

Is that where they've been searching? And for how long? What is that?

Sorry for the questions. I've not been on here continuously!

I'm still convinced it's because they aren't done at MIRA.

I'm going to go with this too. Maybe we'll know something Tuesday.

Police search Hartford trash plant for evidence in disappearance of New Canaan mother Jennifer Dulos
The date on this article is June 4th, last Tuesday. They have searched everyday with dogs and 12 to 14 officers. It is an intensive effort, so they must know something we don't.

Wow. So that's got to be it.

Oh I hope they find her. Horrible.

This massive effort at the plant means only one thing to me IMO MT told them what they did (or what FD did alone) and the other 25 bags contain some tissue (dumped in Hartford and caught on video may 24) and that’s why they keep searching - why else this intensive effort? I can’t think of another logical reason - and I’m not discounting they they have found something already and just haven’t announced it yet - this is the non-leakiest LE effort I’ve seen in a while - MOO

Shredded garbage. 20 ft deep and the size of half a football field. Can't link it but I know I read that due to garbage and dead animals it is more difficult for the cadaver dogs. Everything shredded into 6 inch pieces. Graphic and gruesome. MOO.

So, oddly, my husband used to work at the trash burner portion of the MIRA plant back when it was owned by Covanta (2002-2004). There are two parts to the facility - where the trash is dumped/sorted/shredded and the incinerator. I've only been there a couple times, but I believe the part of the plant you were seeing from the dead end was the trash dumping/sorting portion of the plant. I'll confirm with DH when he gets home later.

The basic process is: trash gets dumped, then sorted, then shredded and then passed on a conveyor belt over to the incinerator where the steam/electricity is generated. If the bags got past the sorting and shredding, it would be an extremely difficult process to find any significant evidence. I'm really, really hoping that they were able to intercept the trash before sorting/shredding.

I noticed a former member of Muellers team who also recently retired worked on MTs moms case
They can team up again

KD died in 2010. An insurance payout could certainly patch a guy over. And if he just happened to move some money into a bank in Greece or Italy, or Turkey, just so it was easier when traveling....

It wasn't as if the family was bereft of funds. As some financial records for 2018 income that were filed by FD, JD had a generous income, possibly from some trust funds, that would keep the lights on and everyone fed.

If there were remains on that site that she was pointing them toward, I would think they would process the scene asap. Not sure what is happening but it may be that her information was off or FD moved things. Either way, I think FD may have been more cagey than we think. FD would have been wise to include MT in some things but not all as it would ensure she wouldn't tell on him before the murder and wouldn't be able to fill in all the dots to cut a "no jail" deal.
John Corbett the actor?

In the videos were the individuals, FD and MT shown wearing gloves?

A number of people have referenced MTs lawyer's statement. I haven't found it. But, I did find this:

“She gave a videotaped interview, so that would indicate to anybody that there was a confession and that she gave evidence as to what she saw, heard and did,” said Attorney Ryan McGuigan, who has experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. He said Troconis’ interview on Thursday could speed up the investigation. from: Attorney sheds light on Dulos case after Troconis speaks with detectives .

But, this is not her lawyer. Can someone post what Bowman and/or his team put out?

ETA: The Daily Mail and Stamford Advocate ran this quote. Bowman is the lawyer. Not this guy. I think we need to be careful when using the Daily Mail as a source.
The Daily Mail is famous for making up information and should never be considered a reliable source. I don't understand why Websleuths classifies them as MSM.

From the news reports, they were definitely shredded. :(

Does anybody know if they owned the horses at the barn? Life insurance on the horses would be huge if they owned them.
Three of the horses in the barn were owned according to news reports, but it was never said by whom. The rest were used in lessons and such I believe. If you're insinuating that FD caused the fire, it's been brought up, and HIGHLY unlikely, especially because of the insurance aspect. It was ruled accidental, and the investigators would most definitely explore every angle before they arrived at that conclusion.

One prediction and one fear:

An upthread poster theorized that MT may have quickly flipped on FD to try and get a deal. FD will have anticipated and planned for this contingency, however, so likely he already set MT up. The info MT offers up will all implicate MT, but critical information she provides will be defective and unreliable (FD will have done this in advance both to send MT a message after the fact, to scare with her, to discredit her, and to unsettle her, to mess with her mind).

In FD version, he will be the victim. He started to worry that MT was becoming greedy, impatient, and saying things about JD and their kids that worried FD.

On the morning of the murder or the night before the murder, MT had told FD that she had a surprise planned for him that would bring an end to all their worries. That it was going to be something fun and that they just needed a break from all the stress and to trust her on this. It seemed a little odd, but he was busy and had other stuff on his mind. He needed to leave early the next day to go to one of the sites; they planned to meet up later but he just started to get this really bad feeling and started to worry. MT had told him some troubling things in the prior weeks and months and he was starting to feel like mentally she may be unstable. He was considering breaking up with her but he didn’t want his drama with MT to interfere with custody proceedings. He just kept thinking about this and kept worrying.

He went looking for her. He drove by JD’s house and thought he heard something. He knew about the protective order, but something just felt off, so he wanted to just go check on the house. He parked a bit away but then as he walked up the driveway he heard his wife JD saying, “What are you doing?! MT get away from me!” FD ran to the open garage bay and by then JD was crumpled on the floor and MT was smashing JD with a metal tire iron. JD was bleeding. FD was horrified. MT stopped, looked up, said, “I did it for you, Baby.” FD was in shock.

Insert some filler detail about how afraid FD was then of MT, how dangerous she was, about how horrible this would be for the children, about how no one would believe it that he told her to stop, why didn’t he call police? She was already dead. FD tried CPR, but it was clear JD was gone. Now FD’s DNA was on everything and JD’s blood was on him. FD feared he would lose his kids and he wanted to protect his kids but how could he if he lost his kids? He was afraid of losing his kids and afraid of how sick MT clearly was. So he panicked and helped her clean up. She told him she was going to tell everyone it was his idea and he put her up to it if he did not. FD was afraid of her. He couldn’t save or protect JD anymore. He had failed. But he could still try to spare his children and JD’s family from this horrible stuff.

That’s the prediction of a possible FD reasonable doubt defense theory/spin/plea deal — although I believe none of that occurred.

Here’s the fear: even if FD is convicted and sent away for life, JD’s kids and her family will never be safe. Sociopaths will not accept and cannot tolerate a loss. They must not only win, but even when they are the victimizers or simply outed for small things they have clearly done, they retaliate. They punish others. They like to torture. They have ways of getting things done outside even from behind bars. They have ways of getting to people they think wronged them, people responsible for them getting caught, anyone they can’t control.

So long as FD is alive, JD’s kids and her loved ones will never be safe. It’s the unbearable horror upon the unbearable pain of having a sociopath cross paths in your life. The bullseye forever is on you.

God bless and protect this poor family. They have already suffered too much. That they should forever suffer is horrible. It may be inevitable. There is no way to be free from this monster. You are never ever safe from someone like FD, even when he is behind bars! This poor family; there are no words.
