4/5/19 Update: Warrant issued for Kennison (KT’s bf). 4/17/19: Kennison arrested. First appearance in court on 4/19/19. 4/19/19: Advised of charges on criminal complaint, waives reading of complaint. (LE says might have connection to Sinaloa drug cartel). Yoni said he had to kill Mariah as she saw him murder Oralia; YA says Palomino killer Oralia.
7/21/18 Update: Case goes to Grand Jury.
1/17/19 Update: Yoni in Status hearing on 1/17. Judge sets “late April” for case to go to Grand Jury.
Only for *Israel Gonzalez Palomino (34) – arrested (6/14/18) & charged with 2 counts of capital murder & drug possession. Held without bond.
Green card holder. Originally arrested on possession of drugs.
In court next week (7/16) for original drug possession charge. 7/16/18: Waived his rights to Prelim hearing on 8/2/18.
5/29/19 Update: Attorneys for Isreal Palomino filed the subpoena last week, asking for any and all records since he was incarcerated in June 2018. The state filed a motion to dismiss the subpoena, calling it an “effort to engage in a fishing expedition.”

"Las Vegas -- A former Maxim model who says she also posed for Playboy Italia pleaded not guilty along with her boyfriend to murder and conspiracy in the killing of a 71-year-old California psychiatrist in Las Vegas. Kelsey Nichole Turner and Jon Logan Kennison stood in shackles Thursday as they appeared in court.

The District Attorney's office will put the case of Turner and Kennison in front of a committee to decide if the DA's office will pursue the death penalty, CBS affiliate KLAS-TV reports.

On Tuesday their former housemate, Diana Pena, pleaded guilty to accessory to murder and implicated Turner and Kennison in the March killing of Dr. Thomas Burchard...."

"Las Vegas -- A former Maxim model who says she also posed for Playboy Italia pleaded not guilty along with her boyfriend to murder and conspiracy in the killing of a 71-year-old California psychiatrist in Las Vegas. Kelsey Nichole Turner and Jon Logan Kennison stood in shackles Thursday as they appeared in court.

Thanks! The story is well pieced together now.

The situation escalated when Turner looked through Burchard's messages with her moth(sic) and found "pornographic photos" sent between the two of them.

She threatened to report him to CHOMP if he didn't pay up.

So - the real reason for killing the doctor was she tried to blackmail him with discovery of the photos - not that she was so distressed about his relationship with her mother. When he refused, she and her boyfriend flew into a murderous rage.

Just catching up on this thread and still a couple posts to go, but geez! These three benefitted from this man’s charity (I guess you would call it that) as he was paying their rent. Regardless of the relationship (s) involved amongst them, and Lord knows what ‘activities’ they were all involved in, but they go and kill him. Smh. What a world we live in.
