This guy's profile is overachiever. He wrote a book that was too long, tried to be famous through various means, aggressively tried to network with women in person and in SM, called, scheduled and spoke with a contractor about a dungeon, made $30 a night off of a basement, possibly filmed people secretly, set bonfires, gave away the mattress, rather than just throwing it on his car and dumping it, ... its like a type A personality and psychopathology meet or a perverse, scary "American dream."

Timeline June 17 :
Timeline of missing student Mackenzie Lueck's movements in Salt Lake City before disappearance

2:01 AM Lueck texts her mother than the plane had landed at Salt Lake City Int'l Airport.
2:09AM Lueck deplanes and retrieves luggage from baggage claim
2:40AM Lueck gets into Lyft at airport
2:54AM Lueck is dropped off at Hatch Park by Lyft driver
3:43AM father requests welfare check as she had been out of contact

Does anyone else find it odd that the father requested a welfare check less than 2 hours after hearing from their daughter? There could have been any number of plausible reasons for not hearing from her - lost baggage, etc. Why the freak out in less than 2 hours - did the parents already suspect something was amiss?

It's sad but a lot of people live the life of "not my problem"....

Although this raises red flags, I'm not sure the request itself would be criminal. Even having a room like this is probably not criminal.

I'm trying to think of any legitimate reason for something like that and I only come up with Christian Grey.

Is this apartment the same one he was evicted from?
I'm curious if he was with a friend (the other person seen on the arrest video), and police had been demanding him to come in and he wasn't coming in so they went and took him? IDK. Hopefully it's more and they have more on him, SWAT would suggest that but it could just be that he was refusing to come in for more questioning.

I thought she only connected with them online, not in person?

I know some others who thought that she was a virtual gf, too, but she was in it for the money. His car and house would tell me h
Do you have the link to his meet up profile? Thanks.

No, it was on here earlier in a thread...you mean about his interests? If so, every other interest was about sex. There were like 200 and I would say over a 100 were about all kinds of sex, sex addiction, etc.

I wonder if his "secret room" is related to the patch in the wall in the basement. This is very concerning, not to mention creepy. IMO.
“Need it finished before my girlfriend gets back into town.” Ugh. Wow. I hope she is found and found alive soon! What a freaking scary weirdo. It’s scary there are people like this just everywhere we go.

This is the first I've heard of the welfare check actually.

This guy claimed he has SD $$$$$.
The second they got to his house and she started doing the math the ruse was up.
Things turned bad.
Agreed.^^^

Plus his house is really nothing to brag about !

Per the video --- more like a "painted and prissied-up" hole-in-the-wall-crack house.
Notice the grass growing up between the cement in his driveway.
Fresh paint over what might have been cracked, peeling paint.

Maybe functioned o.k. as an Air BNB, for someone down on their luck who needed a room rented late at night , and didn't look too closely ?

Sorry if I'm not feeling very understanding towards this poi --turned suspect.
Well not that sorry.

I would have thought they would have obtained a warrant together with the arrest warrant - jeez. what a slow process. And a presser in the midst of all this? Doesn't the Chief want to know what they find? Unbelievable IMO
It is slow, but there could be some reasons they went this route. Maybe they got the arrest warrant and a search warrant for a different location, thinking he was there. Then found that he was at this apartment instead and didnt want to wait on a new search warrant since things were starting to move in the media.
I think all the chief is going to say in his PC is that POI has been arrest and for what (murder and/or kidnapping).

I don't think he was an IT specialist, either. Maybe he interned at Goldman Sachs, but he's not the genius he pretended to be. On his interests, he also had cross dressing. This guy's mind was running on evil 24/7. Anxious to hear from his ex if she decides to talk.

RBBM

Lies, fibs, with a small kernel of truth . . .

Something that struck me as a possibility was maybe she left her keys in Ca? It would explain not going home and wanting to wake roommates, maybe looking for a place to crash for the night, and her parents trying to contact her so soon. JMO
