Yeah, I was. I didn’t grow up on a farm, nor am I familiar that people keep guns on hand if they have to shoot animals or cattle, as I don’t have that knowledge or experience. So I assumed that the media reporting he lived there and operated the farm there, and that he was a felon there wouldn’t be guns there. Clearly, I may have been wrong, and sorry for offending you with a question as to how he would get a gun. I know as a non felon, law abiding citizen, I have to fill out paperwork and wait a week to get a gun, so I didn’t know how he would have gotten one.
It's probably much easier and quicker to obtain a gun illegally than to purchase one legally. No paperwork to deal with at all. No waiting either. Imo

IMO JN had this planned, especially if he owed them money that he had no intention of paying them. I can't figure out how he could have disposed of their bodies in such a short time frame. According to law enforcement they have not found a trace of the remains. I think that can only mean he used some type of farm equipment to dispose of them or he had help. JMO

So I am confused now, as I believe you stated in an earlier comment that he doesn’t live at the house on the property being searched (intersection of Ayers and Catawba Roads), but lives in town someplace. So which house was searched, the house on the property or the one in town?

Hey, @Mw221 :) Color me confused too.
On all/virtually all the doc'/records I've seen, his address is shown as Catawba Rd in Braymer. The low-ish street number {{{{ETA to correct: 3321)}}} makes it seem like a town/city address, but online maps show it as being at cross road Ayres or Ayers. It mos-def is on acreage, not like a town/city lot.
Anyone, pls help - where does Nelson live --- at Catawba & Ayers, on farm land/ acreage? Or elsewhere? Thx in adv.

@BeckyF :) Thanks for your post.
I do not recall LE/Sheriff Fish saying this exactly at the Mon 4:30pm presser. Is there another source you are basing LE stmt on? Link pls?

Seems he certainly gave that impression but I recall thinking at the time - I wonder if LE found 'something' and await DNA match. But then again, could be an inaccurate impression on my part. jmo

@Challenger/Deere had posted earlier that JN lived in town. I believe may be local to the area, as I think may have seen law enforcement removing farm equipment and escorting north of Braymer late last week perhaps?

Yeah, the media and documentation show the address of 3321 Catawba Rd., even on business documentation. I just wasn’t sure which was searched today, as either one, if indeed he does have residence at both, IMO would have been searched long ago, like the day the searches began, or perhaps the day he said he drove their truck and left it there running......

I would love to know where this house in town is though, since it could potentially be related to finding the Diemel brothers.

Link not found upon copy and pasting it.
@LisaMay911 @BeckyF the link is actually continued below the hyperlink, there must have been a space in the word article that should not have been there.

Regardless, the comments are not on the news stations page, they are on the comments posted on the article on the facebook page of the news station.

I'm sure this JN character is going to try to find a way to pin this on someone else. I think at the end it will be quite simple: he was swindling them, and they found out and threatened to report him to LE/the feds. This guy was not going to go back to prison, especially after having served time for "not doing anything wrong". Pretty tight window if everything was fine at 11, but with a gun, it takes seconds to shoot two people dead. And I'm sure everyone out there is carrying. Everything could have been fine at 11 and they could've been dead by 11:15.
I totally agree on one or both brothers threatening to report JN. I can see them maybe starting to the truck and threatening/promising to turn him in. As theorized, JN would be desperate not to end up in prison yet again. Plus, he’s not exactly a law abiding citizen.

What if JN has/had their cattle back quite a ways from their truck. Idk how much of the 74 acres is cattle pasture. If it was a good distance away, he could’ve killed them without anyone even hearing something like a gun shot.

What a vile little human JN has shaped up to be. ALL of this post is JMO.

That was my impression from the statements made at press conference when he was asked by reporters. JMO

There have been too many violent crimes to even count committed by an ex felon using an illegally obtained firearm.

Felons are law breakers...not law abiders. Illegal firearms can be gotten anywhere in every community.

We see cases all the time where the ex felons used an illegally obtained firearm to commit violent crimes. They usually get an additional enhancement charge for using an illegal firearm they were never supposed to have in the first place.

Unfortunately it is very easy for these type of criminals to obtain one. Much easier than obtaining one legally.

Felons like this murderer will always find ways to obtain firearms.

They have no respect for the rule of law. They become felons because they have a law breaker mindset where the think the rule of law doesn't apply to them.

Imo he had no intentions of returning to be a law abiding citizen. Like many, he went right back to doing illegal activites. Imo

I pray they find his two innocent victims soon.

Sorry! I can't get my phone to copy link.
KMBC 9

Could this be the post you are referring to? If so, I hope the link above works!

The link should take you to a post on KMBC’s Facebook page from 8:15 AM yesterday (EDT, where I live; 7:15 AM CDT local time, I believe). The title of the article linked in the post is “The search continues: Judge denies bond for man accused in disappearance of Wisconsin brothers.”

In the comments section, look for a post by a JT (same name as a popular folk singer from the 60-70’s ;)) from 11:57 AM CDT yesterday. It’s a screenshot and a comment.

He posts a few more screenshots after that, as well as comments.

Again, I hope the link works!

Friendly reminder: We cannot discuss contents of SM posts unless confirmed by MSM :).
