Members are actually arguing over a hypothetical?

I suggest you go with JLZ's suggestion re the time in the source material, who said it, and any related notes re corroboration.

Then please move on. Thanks !!

So it seems that Jubes, too, had put William's disappearance down to happening between 10am and 10:15am by August 2017.

Mr Savage’s third interview, without a lawyer present, had Mr Jubelin talking to him about where he was between 10am and 10.15am on September 12, 2014, when William vanished.

That is good find to back up Beaucroft’s statement at the inquest ..

Savage was on phone for 8mins from 09.59 for 8 mins and again on phone at 10:07am to X-ray according to phone records - again by Beaucroft ...

I don't think so - no 10:10am call. A 9:02 call briefly. And a 9:59-10:07 call.

Landline records show a brief call was made to the hospital at 9.02am, and a longer, eight minute call, was made at 9.59am.

I personally think Laura worked well with Jubes. He would have been the one to second her to the strike force in 2015.
She is also the one he trusted to do the walkthrough with Paul Savage. She has the expertise to study behaviour. imo

The court heard Mr Savage made another phone call at 10.41am after his wife left for bingo to an x-ray business to arrange an appointment. He tells the court he does not remember making that call. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

He doesn't remember arranging an appointment. Wonder who the appointment was for and if it was kept?

Well, that is interesting, soso.
In around 30mins or so of William being nabbed he was on the phone again. Hmmm .....

There is so much we don't know about these calls. Was it him who made the earlier calls to the hospital, or was it Heather?
Would Heather have him make her an xray appointment, or would she make it herself?
If the appointment was for him, one would imagine he did not have a bone break or ligament tear if he was walking around searching. No arm in a sling, no sign of pneumonia?

He points out the camper van also parked in the garage and asked if that was there the day William went missing. Mr Savage said he thinks it would have been. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

Craddock then points out that Mr Savage previously claimed his wife’s car was also parked in the garage. “If the camper was in there... that means your car must’ve been out of the garage” he asks. Mr savage confirmed it “must’ve been”. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

I wonder where PS car was seen by those knocking on the door. By his wife when she left. By his BIL when he arrived. By police when they searched.

Exactly. IMO, Heather was more likely to be the one who needed the appointment.

Well given he was intending to head up to Casino for a week or so, he or someone must have been making the appointment well in advance.

I wonder if there are any photos that show this. The investigators may have taken photos when they were searching, or the media that were present may have captured PS’ driveway in the background of one of their photos. I’ll have a quick look on MSM and see if I find anything.

Sorry forgot to add the quote in my above reply.

i wonder why police turned up unannounced all those years later, what did they hope to find?
Mr Savage said he'd always done the best he could to tell police what he remembered, including in September 2017 when detectives arrived unannounced at his home and asked him to participate in a filmed walkthrough interview

Wasn't there a pic looking down his driveway that you found fairly recently? I can't recall when the pic was from, but I think it was during a search .... maybe?

I remember thinking it was the best pic of his driveway that we ever saw.

I think that sometimes the element of surprise is something the police like to use. If police have great suspicions/questions about something/someone, if they can catch a person off guard they may slip up and say something useful.

Interesting isn't it?
It sounds like the walk through was conducted on the anniversary of William's disappearance.

"The statement was followed by another in March, 2016, a formal interview in August 2017, and a walk through the crime scene when police arrived on Mr Savage’s doorstep exactly three years after William’s abduction."

Perhaps the police were hoping to turn up the pressure to see how he'd react.

Mr Collier said the Tyrrell mystery was often discussed at the pub - and recalled one man claiming over beers that he had seen something.

'One bloke, he'd come to the Johns River tavern one day and he said that he'd seen … I think it was a station wagon they were looking for at the time, a white one.
'And he said he'd seen a young kid at the back with a Spiderman suit on, but whether that was bulls*** or not…

'He said he went to the police, whether he did or not, I don't know.'
