I don't think so. It is in the opposite direction from the route that LC would have taken that day, so no reason for the police to go there, without any leads pointing that way.

This must be what I was thinking of when I saw Bletchly, there was a search near there early on.
Police search for missing Leah Croucher from Milton Keynes enters tenth day

''Friends, family and Police officers are continuing to search the streets of local areas today, with one group working on Queensway in Bletchley this morning.''

From the quoted article-

"They also confirmed it was NOT one of its divers who spotted the vital clue that has led to the police search – the distinctive grey hoodie she was wearing on the day she disappeared.

This has opened up questions as to how the item of clothing has sat undetected for the past seven months in this popular beauty spot, which is a haven for hundreds of dog walkers."

BBM. So someone has described seeing not just a standard grey hoodie, but the Stewartby Taekwondo hoodie she was wearing when she disappeared? At least that's how I interpreted what was said. JMO.

It's confusing. It's not clear on whether it's her hoodie or not, whether it's just been seen or Police have it in their possession. It's not very clear either on when and where it was seen, recently or some time ago, in the lake around the lake or near the lake.

It's possible the Crimewatch and This Morning appeals have triggered someone's memory maybe? IMO

From those pics it looks like it's top right hand corner of the lake where the red track is, which also seems to be the only vehicular access. His car is key as that red earth would be in the tyres and underneath.

I hope this is it. Much as I'd love Leah to turn up safe and well I don't think she well, so finding her body is the next best outcome.

Police provide update on grey hooded jumper central to major Leah Croucher search in Milton Keynes

"It is understood a member of the public saw an item of clothing resembling the distinctive hoodie in the water, but did not fish it out."

"As the search by diving experts draws to a close today, a police spokesman told the MK Citizen: "Police are not in possession of the hooded top. Police believe it may be linked to Leah - we are not able to confirm if it definitely is or is not Leah Croucher’s hooded top."
