After this weeks’ revelations I’m slowly changing my position on KK’s plea deal. I was worried it would become another ‘deal with the devil’ ie Karla Homolka but it’s apparent that KK actually led LE to most of the evidence they have and also her story has been corroborated by the evidence. I still wish they’d offered her 10 years with the plea deal though, up to 3 just seems a bit easy but it’s clear she is helping nail PF so I can see why the offer was made.
Her testimony on top of the ones we’ve heard so far really have PF bang to rights, hopefully there will be little doubt left in the jurors minds. It’s clear this was premeditated after learning PF’s claims of ‘no body no murder’ back in April 2018, and we haven’t even dug halfway through the witnesses yet. I hope he has a very uncomfortable weekend anticipating what will be coming next week. After the tooth bombshell he’s probably quaking in his cowardly boots. Moo

KK put the nails in PFs coffin. Each one of those nails came with a price. The prosecution and law enforcement admit to her leading them.

During voir dire we craft questions to rule out those very types of people. Your job as a juror is to look at both sides and apply ONLY the evidence presented to the law you are given and render a verdict. Can you do that? Is there anyone who thinks they just could not put aside their personal feelings and decide the case based on just the facts? Is there anyone who, despite maybe disagreeing with the state of the law, cannot uphold it in this case? Etc etc.

Of course there’s always the chance you have a deceptive person who lies under oath just to get on the jury and railroad it. But I’m certainly confident Dan May is a voir dire expert.

Thank you for that. This deal makes me sick. I, for one, am not impressed with these prosecutors. Good police work is where the credit lies. Any half way decent prosecutors could try this case exactly the same way. That they jumped too quickly and gave away too much to get KKs story is shameful. The defense is right about all of the possible charges she could have faced and that was a lot to squeeze her with and they blew it.

As a prosecutor, I wholeheartedly disagree with your take on these DAs. You clearly don’t know the work that goes into trial.

At the very least, tell Kelsey so she could not only have a head's up about Patrick wanting to kill her.

Maybe this guy thought that he had talked him out of it. Perhaps PF didn't mention it again. He probably should have called LE, (and no, not the brother) and tell them Patrick is either mentally ill or a potential future murdered.

It just baffles me, though, how many people knew- some that didn't even know Kelsey, knew Patrick wanted to do this. How many does this make now? Krystal, Mr. Moore, Krystal's best friend, her best friend's bosses, both who are lawyers.....any more that I left out? Ugh.
Probably CC MOO

after the long days of testimony by KL/KK i was wondering if she might of messed up and said something contradictory to her statements she made to LE and if so would the prosecution consider that being untruthful testimony. i know the deal states what happens after true testimony , if untruthful would she be tried on all charges she faced?

Well, it's no place for that precious baby, that's for sure. I know she has plenty of toys now though, and all the love in the world. I just wish she had her mama. :( MOO
If all the people who knew called police, the FBI She would be here. They are all lowly cowards. It just makes me so sick, sad, and SMH.

Thank you.

We don't need to start worrying about the jury.

Especially, in light of the Judges offer of tissues and trash cans for all.

I have followed this case from the beginning. However I have not been able to read one single post from the comment threads. It's been enough just to try to keep up with the daily news in the other thread. So, if someone else has already said this, I apologize ahead of time.

"How - dumb - IS - this guy?"

OMG. Moore' testimony.....

(......and knowing the people on this thread, I'm almost certain it HAS been said already. So sorry for the hollow apology. )

But I totally get it. Narcissists think they are smarter than everyone else. Add psychopath to that and it's no wonder.

Well said !!!

Thank you, for serving to seek justice, speak for those that can no longer and protecting us one vile criminal at a time.

You're one of the reasons I sleep better at night.

HO..

I crashed out early last night and have been catching up reading. @MassGuy I'm laughing soooo hard over your spoiler button and the things people were adding to it. Thank you all for starting my day off making me literally lol! We have some of the best people on this thread. :)

Where is this spoiler button? That's one that sounds like I should check out?

Yup. I get it that her info is sealing pf's fate, but I am feeling like some people are starting to see her as if she is somehow able to redeem herself somewhat, through this 'generous act' and I find that repugnant . She's a totally disgusting, jealous, murderous beaoch.

KK's ONLY reason for squealing was a completely self-serving one.

There was zero altruism involved here, as evidenced by the fact that her testimony wasn't given away freely...in fact, it came at a quite steep price; namely, her sweetie beauty of a deal.

KK did not voluntarily provide the DA with any information.
KK did not testify against PF because she felt bad for the B's.
KK did not testify against PF because she was thinking of Baby K.
KK did not testify against PF because she was "afraid" of PF.

For KK, her own well-worn, leathery hide was her first, last and only consideration.
She testified to keep her hide from doing a long stint in the hoosegow.

Some people just thrive on generating constant, sick drama in their lives.
KK is one such individual.

She loves the fact that her life reads like a poorly written daytime soap.
Illicit affairs, illegitimate pregnancies, furtive meetings, murder plots, cover-up, etc.
This is all very titillating for KK.
It's an adrenaline rush for her.

Or, at least, it was until the FBI came knocking on her door.

KK IS NOT A VICTIM IN THIS TRAGEDY.

Many of us have been pushing back against this false narrative, and will continue to do so.

Quite forcefully.

JMO.

I was so behind, I read through the posts too fast.

Did the jury have questions today? Sam's at a wedding so I couldn't go to him as usual.
I don't know about the rest of the day's witnesses but the jurors did have questions for one of the dog handlers. MOO

Friend testifies Frazee said, ‘I figured out a way to kill her’
The judge asked Eberle questions from the jury about how the bleach could have affected Lucy’s scent-finding, to which he said that they hadn’t trained with bleach before because it would be harmful.

BBM

That's the problem, there weren't any ... "all the people who knew".

KK knew most all, she took LE by the hand and lead them to most all evidence, the video was played. They even found the tooth!!

Dan May openly, repeatedly acknowledges, and gives credit to KK for providing and leading LE, forensic specialist, and the dogs, after each testimony.

Who else knew PF murdered KB for sure? Many may have thought it, but NO one but KK and PF know the story, except maybe SF.
