What if LISK is/was a K9 officer? Burlap Sacks are still used for Schutzhund obedient training/K9 Protection Training. One particular exercise is a rolled up burlap sack called a "puppy tug" between the handler and the puppy, and the handler would buy the whole bags and cut them long way to use them with his puppies/dogs.

I never bought in to the horticulture theory. LISK doesn't work at a nursery. I think he works/did work along Gilgo Beach. Watching the Killing Season did bring something else up...there could definitely be two different killers. Not working together though. I don't believe LISK buried a torso, nor do I believe he killed a child. I think that is an entirely different type of monster.

Yes this is something that was mentioned long ago aka look up the theories on Blue the dog and it’s handler in past posts.

The criminologists with the FBI did mention him possibly being involved with horticulture. As you mention there might be multiple killers, could it be that one has access and interest in horticulture?

I think this is much more organized than we think. I think much was planned SOMEWHERE (online?). And I think the reason why SG’s 911 call has not been released is bc the best evidence there is might be a confession based off of evidence in that call. And I think the FBI are looking for that confession possibly on the dark web or an in person interview. Remember her call was incorrectly dispatched to the NYPD, not the SCPD. Any active NYPD cop (cough someone like Valle cough) could have heard that call and responded.

Excellent advice...here’s what I found...after Shannon Gilbert went missing Suffolk Co. started looking for her (we all know this) Here’s what I didn’t know...the day the K9 found bones in the sand (not on the sand, IN the sand) that police officer told his boss he and the dog were heading to the beach and if she was there, his dog would find her. This dog was used in drug busts, not finding dead bodies. Definitely not a dog used for digging in the sand to find bones that have been buried in the sand for years. Wet sand. Did I mention years? A German Shepherds nose can smell more than 40 Xs more than we can, but they’re known primarily for their ability to “air scent vs. ground scent”. Now, I’m not accusing anybody of anything, but we do know that serial killers are territorial, clearly not the kind of guy who likes to share...What if LISK wasn’t involved with Shannon Gilbert...What if he truly thought someone else killed her and buried her along Gilgo Beach...and by bringing attention to a couple of bodies he knew where already there and he knew there was no way in hell cops could find any dna, fingerprints, etc. he was sending the new unsub a message as in, “Get the f$&@ out of my beach and find another spot to dump your bodies.” What he didn’t know was there were more bodies once they started looking and the torso and mother & child were probably just as much of a shock to him as they were to us. I can’t find anything about that officers spouse or if he has an ex spouse? What are her initials? I did see the belt that cops released have the initials HM or WH...Again, not making an assumption, just a theory, but I can’t get pass the dog finding bones buried in the sand, just can’t.

A lot of mentally sick individuals.......wouldn't it be something if he got pissed off at women because he got fired for his pshycotic actions towards them, & then released his aggressions on escorts, etc.

Not saying he's LISK in any way shape or form......but he was calling up women saying he wanted to rape them.
 
Also wanted to add that I don't think Burke is LISK.......even tho he was known to hate prostitutes, he couldn't control his temper.

LISK is meticulous in his planning & execution, & unless that bag stolen from Burke's car contained irrefutable evidence showing Burke was LISK, then the perp (LISK) wouldn't have rushed into the interrogation room & assaulted the guy that took his bag.

Imo, Burke isn't LISK......although Burke has shown sadistic tendencies from everything I've read, I don't think LISK would take off his mask amongst his peers.

Gary Ridgeway (Green River Killer) was suspected of being a cop because of how easy the prostitutes were getting into his car......& the guy had a low IQ & was convicted of 48 murders & suspected in another 23.

It's not hard to learn forensics now a days....we have the internet, we have Forensic tv shows, etc......although I won't say it's definitely not a cop, I really don't think it's Burke.

Also, serial killers also can change their MO to throw off detectives.......like how the bodies were found in Gilgo. GB4 (4 in burlap sacks) & the others scattered & some cut up.

It could be the same guy trying to throw off the investigation......LISK plans ahead, he's playing chess while others are playing checkers.
 
I don't think Burke is LISK either, but, I do think he possibly has a connection to them or some skin in the game. We know Leanne accused him of getting rough with her at a party. The GB4 may have attended some of those parties IMO. They may be victims of another man there, and Burke just helped to stonewall the investigation because he knows who is behind it. I don't actually believe he personally killed them. But the "half breed" and "*advertiser censored*" comments made to Melissa's sister sound like a good old boy to me.

That could be the reason Burke didn't want the FBI involved or he was commiting other crimes & didn't want to get caught.

Some of the GB4 might have been at some of those wild parties, but it would be better to have at least one of those men at those parties come forward & mention it, but I doubt they ever will because they are family men & don't want to embarrass their families.

And I'm assuming a lot of people born before 1980 use those words to associate prostitutes & racially mixed people.

One guy that has always been on my mind but he's no longer around is JB, the aquarium owner & nursery.

Why would a multi millionaire with what seems like he has everything, commit suicide.......I've read he attended some of these wild parties, but how much can you corroborate that it's true.

Hes been checked out & cleared, & maybe this is what happens when innocent people get pulled into an investigation like this, they can't handle the stress & think they will give their family a bad name.....you can go bankrupt & lose everything going through something like this if you're guilty in the public eye.

Maybe somebody stole burlap sacks from his nursery?

It's not like you can find burlap sacks anywhere you go.

This whole case has been messed up from the beginning........I wonder if it was possible to locate LISK on video from mid Town when he was calling the little sister.

The only way this may get solved is if they have LISK's DNA, & they do the genealogy test.

Or maybe it will end up like Jack the Ripper & never get solved

Just out of curiosity- is it normal for an officer (trained in drugs?) to go with his work dog- OFF DUTY- to search for human remains?
His comment is interesting- I thought we would find her. I assumed she was dead. Nobody had a clue..

I agree with the more than one killer theory. I think that area may have been used by multiple killers, in addition to the G4. I also thought of a K9 officer- or possibly a journalist that covers crime.

The use of the term half breed could indicate LISK’s age, and it’s another reason why I believe he’s in my age range.

I’ll be 54 this year and I remember hearing Cher’s song Half Breed in the seventies. The term was used as a racial slur then and throughout the eighties, ebbing in the nineties only after people finally got a clue that racism is wrong. I believe LISK used it as a slur, especially since he could have said biracial instead.

His use of *advertiser censored* in the phone calls to Amanda and MBB’s friend Sarah highlights his misogyny and objectification of women. Surely he said it for shock value too but we’re all aware of his hatred of women.

The man who raped my mother and 13 other women said all women are *advertiser censored* sent to manipulate and embarrass men so he had to reclaim the power from women. I’m willing to bet LISK has had the same thought(s).

Additionally, I don’t believe the victims were alive when LISK made the calls. I think he took their phones, grilled each about the contents of their phones, then killed them when he was satisfied with the information he’d obtained.

The calls allowed LISK to relive his crimes after the fact, much like Ted Bundy did when on trial in Florida. By representing himself, Bundy could ask witnesses for detailed accounts of their recollections, and court observers noted that he relished the process.

No, the call was not dispatched to the NYPD, it was dispatched to the NY State police because of the unusual jurisdiction of that area of Long Island

So weird, right? I don’t think LISK had one thing to do with Gilbert. That entire evening went sideways very quickly (from everything I’ve read). I do think Burke would do something like call an escort and invite her out with some of his buddies. From the description of this guy, calling and torturing family members sounds like something he’d do-sloppy, risky, but too arrogant to think he’d have to resign from his job down the road. No, LISK is calculating and patient. Definitely has a “type” of girl. That’s why I do believe there is another killer on that beach. One who had zero issues with killing a mother and child.
