I have to admit to being baffled about why the Court or frankly anyone should give any consideration to a motion filed by a NEW ATTY for a change in venue when the same NEW ATTY had not even read the files? Not only weren't the files read but the full body of evidence hasn't been disclosed. I do think the cheap ploy of the motion being filed was amongst other things to attempt to flush out additional evidence in the hands of the State. Perhaps that is what this NEW ATTY does and so is a specialist in "Cheap Tricks"? IDK, we will have to see.

What kind of ATTY would do this? IMO someone who is desperate but also someone who thinks that nobody (including the courts) is watching or caring and is simply trying to pull a 'fast one' based on rolling the dice about the differing demographics in Hartford vs Fairfield Counties. IMO here we saw a cynical move by an ATTY who just might think they are smarter than the rest of the world. IMO it was also a move that told us pretty much all we need know about this new ATTY and IMO also it was all confirmed with his first Court appearance with MT and Judge White. IMO the new Atty should have left his Hartford style games and tricks in Hartford and not brought them to Stamford!

This leads me to believe that the NEW ATTY was simply shopping for a friendlier venue to try his client AND he seems to be fixated on the NEW YORK PRESS as being the antichrist and somehow averse to his clients issues. He thought he could slip the motion through and then slither back to Hartford with his slimy client where he was no doubt promising her and Mama A a basic 'slap on the wrist' and limited time served on some kind of ridiculous job release program. IMO totally ridiculous as was his stated inability in Court the other day to defend his motion. The whole thing was so ridiculous that I'd love to have seen Judge White simply rip up the ill conceived motion and say, "file again when you are ready to defend your motion sir"!

IDK, but it also seems to be pretty unprofessional behaviour to me when the request is couched under the 'guise' of the location where the alleged crimes were committed and all the statements were made in advance of reading any file material.

MT as a character in this case is no 'bit player' IMO as the NEW ATTY sought to make her out to be either and this tactic was absolutely laughable and simply smacked IMO of Pattisville tactics that we all here have been subject to for months on end. The Press have spent months documented MT and her life choices and relationship history and her virtually non existent work history too. MT has been unmasked and uncovered and now a new attorney is seeking to 'reinvent his client' in a new venue when she has been widely reviled by the Press on a global basis for months not just for 'character issues' but for how she has lived her life for 45 years and how she conducted herself in her role as mistress of Fd for a number of years.

MT as we have seen from AW1-3 did not cooperate with LE, she lied on rinse and repeat for months at time and her character issues could fill volumes when her relationship history is investigated as has been done here on WS over many threads. A few words to describe MT: amoral, uncaring, disinterested, self absorbed, cold, materialistic party girl who seems to have the emotional depth of a raindrop and the moral compass of a streetwise Miami gangland thugette based on everything we have learned about her life and brief work history as an adult. MT has never really had a professional and simply hopped from one guy to the next during her life and the guys supported her and her lifestyle. In short, she seems like a washed up and aged party chick from Miami whose last ditch effort at some financial stability in her sorry life was to be the 'Queen of 4Jx'. MT had any number of opportunities to leave as she had no ties to CT other than Fd (Atty Colangelo clearly made just this point in Court this past week), yet MT stayed with Fd despite fighting about the divorce that would never end and IMO she stayed because Fd had convinced her that the money would allow them to live in leisure and party til the lights went out! In short, MT was IMO a 'character double' and indistinguishable from Fd which is why their relationship seemed to work.

Frankly given the character of MT as a longstanding mistress over many years, partner in Fd financial crimes via FORE as seen clearly in the 123 Hunter transaction, role in altering computer files/backup at FORE, documented pathological liar via 3 multi hour interviews with LE, choice to take the 5th in the Civil lawsuit to such basic questions as even stating her name, her trip to NY to get Farber family documents from Probate Court and who can forget the ride down Albany Avenue where she was actively participating and not simply chatting on the phone to Petu as originally described by her.

This all looks about right to me-what nerve to walk into a courtroom to make a motion that the venue be changed, without even reading the available information? I guess these lawyers can easily make the assumption that defense attorneys rule the courtroom, and not the judge? I wonder if he just may not have had the time to read the information at hand because his service was obtained so close to the time of the hearing-further indicating that maybe Bowman quit, rather than being fired? I wonder if MT and Co. would really have fired him so close to that hearing date? Any ideas?

I am anxiously awaiting the next drop of search warrants, if there are any. That should really round out the story, where she features prominently in Jennifer’s death.

This was FD's and NP's sorry "red herring" attempt at misdirection to imply that the Albany Avenue expedition is the only evidence LE have on FD and MT. LE has a mountain of incriminating evidence even if the Hartford journey were excluded. IMO

The two texted for about a week until Ragaglia accidentally sent a text from Fotis back to Fotis. Then writing, “he bit.” Followed by, “I feel horrible...I was texting my son...I am truly a good person.”

Alarmed. Fotis called police, “...concerned that the water and/or vitamins might be some type of poison meant to kill him…” The report says Fotis felt threatened when Ragaglia wrote, “God put me in this situation to end this horrible drama quickly.”

Police never ended up testing the pills or holy water. They declined to go on camera speaking about the incidents.

Yes @kimch33kim, that was the way I too understood the Court instructions to work. Fd would have had to stay in NC on Wed. Goal was to not disrupt the childrens school schedule with 1.5 hr trip each way during the middle of the school week for a visit with Fd was what I understood to have been the driver of the Courts decision.

Fotis is dead. He can't sue his attorney for malpractice. ((And I suspect Fotis intended to let LE scroll through and see nothing incriminating- and set up his attorney to come in and protest. Fotis probably thought LE couldn't keep the phone without a warrant, and his attorney would be right there for back up. He didn't count on its being secured pending the warrant.)

Then he dealt with the change in plans by whipping out and using another phone to call someone who he had to know would be involved with the police.

Fotis got into universities for the best and brightest. Makes you wonder how stupid the worst and the dullest can be.

If I recall correctly, it wasn’t the exact day of the child’s “name day”, but close-like within a day, and the only opportunity to do it with Fd. And they had a cake to celebrate.

What puzzles me is Grace Farms isn't known for their dining facilities. It's a beautiful 80 acre park that closes at 6 p.m., so I'm confused why he was planning to take his children to dinner at Grace Farms (unless he was packing a picnic?). Hmmm. Please enlighten me.

Grace Farms has decent food options IMO. Just think that Fd picked it knowing that the picnic option wouldn't fly. Who else but Fd might pick the one activity that wouldn't have been possible at Grace Farms, sold it hard to the children and got their buy in and then said, "oh no, sorry but no picnic today children"......

Seems totally IMO like something he would do with no remorse and 5 upset children who were intent on a celebration.

I'm not even sure Pattisville would have tried to spin such pap and to do it in multiple publications in Greece speaks IMO to how these people had no clue as to who Fd was as a person. Even discounting for Google translation screw ups, it seems that the Greek Family might just be talking about someone entirely different and NOT Fd. Thank you. We can discuss Fd all we want (and I'm sure we will still do so), but there are active cases going on which could use a lot more thought.

I was thinking yesterday what MT's situation was prior to Jennifer's murder. Then my thoughts turned to initial motive on her part.

Here she was living with him, including towels and lemon squeezer, obviously pretty seriously setting up house. So serious, she bought a ladder, and moved her precious dining-ware with her. Her nudes were carefully hung in the bedroom.

She didn't have to pay any rent, and on top of that she had money funneled to her via the company Fd set up the year he married Jennifer. Her trips were paid for by the Farber money. Her daughter had her things there, as well. For all we know, the Farber money was also largely supporting MT's daughter.

She had it really, really good.

She felt she "had" Fd.

But did she? Did she suspect that she was losing him to someone else - someone smarter, richer, better-connected, and prettier?

Did MT realize the money train from the Farbers would not last that long if Fd and Jennifer simply divorced - and fear losing Fd, as well as her lovely, lazy, luxurious lifestyle?

And even if she "had" Fd - did she really? When Fd was visiting the children, she was still not part of his life - and wouldn't be even after the divorce, if it were stipulated that she was not to be around them. They were constant companions - that must have driven her crazy. And beautiful, talented Jennifer - what if Fd went back to her some day? What was happening (in MT's mind) when Fd went down to NC without MT?

Was it MT's suggestion initially to murder Jennifer? "What if we..." - and then start plotting it? Or did they come up with it together? If they were in it together, they'd have their big secret for the rest of their lives, right? Perhaps with KM's help, of course. The treacherous triumvirate.

Surely, Fd had a lot more to lose than Mt did by murdering Jennifer, IMO.

What better way to 'cement' a 'failing and doomed relationship' in the twisted mind of MT than going along completely with their mutual goal of 'murdering JFd'!

MT was intent on remaining to de facto "QUEEN OF 4Jx" it seems and so needed to make sure that there was NO WAY Fd could ever dump her as he would risk her 'spilling the beans'!

I'm not sure love or even lust had much to do with the relationship of Fd and MT, simply seemed like mutual gain and pure greed. MT was an aged party girl with no ability to support herself, child support was running out and she had vested 3 years or more into a relationship where by her own account, "we argued all the time".

Why stay? But we saw not only did MT stay but she plotted and planned and if she had been a bit smarter or craftier might just remind me a bit of a "Lady Macbeth". But, IMO MT didn't want to work that hard and she thought she was 'locking in' Fd 'forever and a day' too via her ongoing support (most likely financial too as his financial situation was crumbling while they were still together). Can't you just imagine Fd saying, "Michi, do you mind paying for the espressos as I left my wallet at home? on their many trips to Starbucks and local cafe"!

I want to know where the poor cat is and if it’s being taken care of properly by someone. The kids knew the cat since it reportedly was FD’s late mother’s cat, and they don’t need one more thing to worry about, not to mention that the cat itself undoubtedly was under stress being in FD’s house with all of that stress.

@HopeForTheBest, the cat was captured over the weekend and was in safekeeping according to what we learned during the Probate hearing this week.

Still scratching my head about the Greek Family on the cat issue too as they must have know about Mama Dulos now 16 yo. cat. YET, we see them lining up the trucks to take household goods such as mattresses etc. and not capturing the cat and taking it to a shelter. The SA article said that AC had volunteer to take the Fd cat but no further information was revealed about the current status of the cat.

I don’t know, I think it was after the no-contact ban when she moved her physical self out. Or maybe I’m confusing this with the time she and her family supposedly went and got “all” of her stuff.

She may have had the no-contact order when she moved out the second time, with all the moving vans/trucks, true.

My thoughts were simply focused on the likelihood that she's trying to collect some evidence that was left there, and that she made a longer list in order to hide that one piece of evidence or hidden money/something...

And, that she had plenty of options to get ALL of her stuff back when Fd was living there: obtaining them through the police would have been easy enough, if the items were so innocent.

She had months to make a list of items before moving out with the trucks/moving vans. It makes no sense that she would not then have gotten paintings of herself, and things that mattered to her daughter. Especially when it's NOT likely she bought much for that house - it was fully furnished.

I see what you mean. So it's likely that KS and NP knew he intended to kill himself, then. There was no reason for him to direct them to do something in the event of his death regarding taking over the case - as he was healthy - unless he intended to kill himself.

In that case, then, it's all the more amazing they did not send someone to pick him up that morning, and that they were not in far more frequent contact with him.

And it now makes all the more sense now that they - in their tremendous guilt over the situation - are likely trying to make up for not being there for him, when they apparently, as it seems you are saying, knew more than ANYONE in the world how likely it was that he intended to kill himself. Interesting viewpoint, and very sad.

From my experience, usually it's the other way around, they go from CT to FL.
