''Princess Beatrice has cancelled her planned wedding reception in the Buckingham Palace Gardens because of the coronavirus.

A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman said Beatrice and her fiance, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are carefully considering government advice before deciding whether a private marriage might take place.''

She will be fine. The health and safety of her, her family, wedding guests, and staff is what's important during a pandemic.

Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Share Coronavirus Response Plans on Instagram

"We are all in this together, and as a global community we can support each other through this process—and build a digital neighbourhood that feels safe for every one of us."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have wrapped up their final public appearances together as senior working royals, but that doesn't mean they're stepping back from the public eye entirely.

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a new post on their Instagram specifically responding to the crisis of the COVID-19 outbreak. The post features an image of the quote "This moment is as true a testament there is to the human spirit," accompanied by their personal logo, and includes a lengthy caption describing how the couple plans to respond to the outbreak in the coming days.

It's been a particularly bad year for them and it's still only March.

We need a nice bit of royal wedding dresses, tiaras and fancy frocks to make up for all this gloom. Hopefully all the brokenhearted and disappointed brides can have their day when this is all over.

I read their post on Instagram and if they are in Canada are supposed to STILL be in self-isolation. Maybe they should be telling us how they are self-isolating and MM can answer why she increased the chances of spreading the virus to her baby, Archie by travelling when she didn't have to.

They can also assure us Canadians that they won't be crossing the border either way.

No exceptions for them.

The Queen carries out private engagement at Buckingham Palace

The Queen held a private audience at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, before she begins her Easter break early amid the coronavirus pandemic. Her Majesty, 93, received Commodore Steven Moorhouse (outgoing Commanding Officer, HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH) and Captain Angus Essenhigh (incoming Commanding Officer) in her private audience room at the palace.

The monarch was dressed in a royal blue shift dress with her signature pearl necklace and Queen Mary's Russian diamond and sapphire brooch. There were no handshakes – only bows from the officers during the meeting. Audiences are brief, one-on-one meetings which happen regularly throughout the Queen's working week.

There haven't been any local sightings and pretty sure they would have been outed if they were out and about, people are taking the stay home message pretty serious in BC (we have highest # of cases in Canada right now) and everyone knows these 2 plus their staff have been out of the country recently. They are stuck here at the moment, even if they found a way to fly out of Canada, they don't meet any of the exception requirements to get back in. It's a good thing they got back when they did or else they would have been apart from Archie even longer...
